How To Get A Reward From Wisp

Animal Crossing New Leaf: How To Find Wisp! (Get Wisp’s Lamp in ACNL)

Once you give all five pieces back to Wisp, hell offer you a gift for your services. The first time he offers you something, hell give you the choice between Something New and Something Expensive. The items you receive are random in both categories so dont fret if you cant decide.

It is worth noting that Wisps definition of expensive might be a bit different from yours. In our experiences thus far, expensive seems to mean the item is worth a few thousand Bells at most. Theres likely some rarity involved, so it could be possible to earn items worth around 10,000 Bells, but no one knows for certain.

For the most part, we recommend always choosing Something New. That way youre consistently building our your collection of items and can purchase them from the ATM in Resident Services. What good does yet another clown wallpaper do anyway? The darn thing is only worth 1,500 Bells!

And thats it! Hopefully this helps you get settled into your new Animal Crossing: New Horizons island! Much like the game itself, check back throughout the day to see whats new here on Fanbyte. We already have guides for how to move your tent and how to get across rivers using either the vaulting pole or constructing bridges.

How To Complete Wisp’s Sidequest For A Reward

After exploding, Wisp’s spirit will be just about everywhere. You’ll have to check every nook and cranny to locate the wayward souls.

As pictured above, the spirit parts are small, with a similar hue to Wisp’s main “body.” You can collect them by using your bug net. They’re fairly stationary, so once you get close to them, catching the spirit parts shouldn’t be too tedious.

Unfortunately, the spirit part locations are random. That means they may appear on areas of your island that are inaccessible with your current toolset. If that happens, all you need to do is leave the area and wait. The parts will eventually float elsewhere â hopefully, somewhere you can reach. Note that while the quest will stay open indefinitely you can only collect the spirit parts at night.

Blathers Is A Divine Being

blathers when you show him a fish versus a bug

Andy Bella

Players know Blathers as the friendly, academic owl and island museum director. However, his extensive knowledge of history and biology has some fans thinking his role in the game is much more prominent. Blathers is knowledgeable of every bug, fish, sea creature, fossil and work of art the player brings to him. He can identify and describe famous works of art spanning over thousands of decades and even has a replica of the dinosaur-killing meteor colliding with Earth. In the fossil section, players can find a room with a phylogenetic tree containing villager species in their anamorphic state in the game and their real-life counterparts. Theres also a spot on the tree showing a connection between humans in the Animal Crossing world and an Australopithecus skull.

The Animal Crossing New Leaf: Welcome Amiibo Update Added Lots Of New Features Both Documented And Undocumented We List The Best Ones Weve Found

Welcome, amiibo, and welcome everyone else to Animal Crossing: New Leafa title that Nintendo has somehow managed to keep relevant;four years after its initial release. Of all the games on my Nintendo 3DS, this is the one Ive gotten the most mileage out of, both due to the nature of the game and, now, due to the fabulous update Nintendo dropped this past week.

The Welcome amiibo update to New Leaf brings a whole host of new features, only a few of them involving amiibo. Some of those features were shown off during the Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct earlier this week. Others were undocumented surprises that added either much-needed features or enjoyable little easter eggs to the title.

Break out New Leaf if your copy has been collecting dust over the last few years. Dont worryIsabelle will clean all your weeds up for you when you do. Enjoy the update and all its changes, including the eight best changes I found in the Welcome amiibo update.

Gulliver Is A Victim Of Alien Abductions

#AnimalCrossing#ACNH#NintendoSwitch Ok so uh not only does Gulliver make references to when he was a alien in the AC movie,He also makes-

Gulliver the seagull will occasionally wash ashore on players islands after falling off his ship at sea, or so he says. When talking to Gulliver, players will hear a wordy and sometimes far-fetched telling of his incident at sea. Its then the players duty to dig up the five missing parts of Gullivers communicator that are buried somewhere along the islands beaches.;

But looking deeper into Gullivers past, and his dialogue in New Horizons, fans have noticed Gulliver may not be falling overboard but is the victim of repeated alien abductions. Gulliver was first introduced as a sailor in the first Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing. However, in the two later games, Wild World and City Folk, Gulliver is an astronaut that pilots a UFO. Yet, in New Horizons, Gulliver is back out at sea. When he wakes up on the shore, Gulliver cant really remember where he is or what happened to him. Moreover, some fans encounter dialogue in the game where Gulliver briefly mentions not wanting to go back to space before he stops himself mid-sentence.;

How To Catch Wisp’s 5 Spirit Pieces

After speaking to Wisp and startling him, this body will divide into 5 glowing spirit pieces which shoot off to random locations around your island. Having shed a considerable amount of weight from fright, Wisp will politely ask you to retrieve is spiritual essence and return him to his former glory.

You catch these spirit pieces using your Net in exactly the same way you’d catch a butterfly or other flying bug. Handily, they don’t disappear if you miss them, so just keep swinging and you’ll soon have them collected in your inventory.

Wisp’s five spirit pieces can be found floating around the island in random locations. They move slowly, but they do move, so keep a close eye on your surroundings as you search and make sure you don’t miss one floating behind a tree or other feature of your island. Just keep circling your island to find them all.

After you’ve collected the five spirit pieces, return to Wisp and talk to him. In return for your help he’ll offer you a reward which comes with a choice to make…

Invite New Villagers To Your Island

There are hundreds of potential villagers — all with their own personalities and unique designs — who can move to your island, but your little swatch of land can only accommodate 9 at a time. As you build on the barren island of the beginning of the game, hand-picking your cohabitants adds richness to your personal utopia.

To attract the first three townspeople, just buy Nook Miles Tickets to other islands from the Nook Stop machine in Resident Services. The first three islands you visit will feature a character excited to join your community. But once you’ve welcomed the first three newbies, Tom Nook will ask you to build a campsite, where tourists will stay for one day at a time. Invite campers, and they’ll also move to your island.

As a bonus, you can buy collectible;Amiibo figurines or cards;of your favorite Nintendo characters online, and they allow you to invite unique villagers with special attributes to your island. As those who have used Amiibo in other Nintendo games know, they’re not essential for the core game, but they add small elements to further personalize your experience, and sometimes even cross over characters between Nintendo properties.

Finally, befriend those villagers by talking to them every day, giving them gifts and sending them cards in the mail . Not only do you earn Nook Miles by befriending villagers, but your new friends will also begin to give you more gifts, like clothes and medicine.

New Leaf – Welcome Amiibo

Single-player, multiplayer

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a 2012 life simulationvideo game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DSconsole. In the game, the human character takes on the role of mayor in a town populated with anthropomorphic animals. As the fourth main title in the Animal Crossing series, it was released in Japan in November 2012, and in North America, Europe and Australia in June 2013.

While retaining gameplay from older titles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf marks a change in the series, as the player now becomes the mayor of the town. With the help of the townsfolk and a secretary it is now the player’s job to make the town a better place to live.

The game received critical acclaim, with many citing the improvements upon prior entries in the series. Although the title was re-released under the Nintendo Selects banner in North America and as Happy Price Selection in Japan, an updated version with Amiibo support was released for free on the Nintendo eShop in November 2016 for owners of the original version. A retail version of the update was released as Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome Amiibo in late 2016.

How Do I Find Him In Animal Crossing: City Folk

Wisp could be easy to find … there’s only one problem – he is invisible. He will appear in your town on a random day; any day of the week. The only time that you may find him is when it is late at night. However, there is a surefire way of knowing that he is in your town that day. If you see a genie lamp laying on the ground near a tree or a building, that guarantees that Wisp is in your town tonight. If you find Wisp before the lamp, then you must find the lamp after you talk to Wisp. If you find the lamp first, search around for Wisp – he is usually found near the beach but could be anywhere. Eventually a text box will pop up and Wisp will say “Psst … come here.” You will then have to play a game where he moves and you have to find him. After you catch up to Wisp yet again, he will say that he is scared and asks you to meet him in your attic. Proceed to your attic and rub your lamp. Wisp will appear and offer to grant you one of three wishes.

    Take Advantage Of Special Visitors

Within the first few days of your island adventure, you’ll likely come across a unique visitor — such as Gulliver, the sea gull asleep on the beach, or Wisp, the easily frightened ghost. Each of these visitors will teach you something, sell you something or send you on a short mission. These missions will earn you unique item rewards.

My personal favorite visitor so far is C.J., a beaver-blogger who loves to fish. He’ll ask you to catch special fish for him, order fish decorations for you , and pay you extra for any fish you sell him. In a single day with C.J., I ordered a handful of fish decorations to hang on my walls and made nearly 60,000 bells just angling as usual. It was a good day.
