Can You Sell Turnips In Another Town
Can you take turnips safely to another town and sell them? I know they are sensitive to changes in time.
I imagine if I travel to the town of someone who changes around the time on their system, that the turnips will spoil?
What if I travel to a friends town and our clocks are off by a minute or two? Will they spoil then?
Yes, this in fact one of the best ways to sell turnips as it vastly improves your chances of finding a town with a high selling price. Reese will still tell you the turnip prices and allow you to sell them in the other town.
I don’t believe the time of the other person’s game really matters I played with someone in a different time zone to sell my turnips. When I arrived my turnips were perfectly fine.
The way turnips spoil is when you go back in time, which the game checks. The game can’t really know who’s time traveling if you join an online game. I’m unsure if going to a town that is several days different would affect anything, but my guess would be no. Going backwards in time and adjusting the clock at the main menu are the two ways the game seems to know you’ve fiddled with the clock.
Quick Method For Infinite Bells
You need two players both with Animal Crossing, one has to have a really strong price for turnips like 500 bells in their game and the other time travels to sunday morning. Now simply buy in the town that’s on sunday and go and visit the friend’s town and sell there and repeat with new money that you just got from the selling the turnips at like 5 times their normal value and you have a quick method of making huge amounts of bell. Have fun being a bellionaire.
WARNING: Time Travel may lead to lost neighbors and an abundance of weeds that will overtake your town. They are NOT easy to get rid of. It can also take the fun out of the game, but that’s up to the player.
- See the Time Traveling Guide for a complete guide to changing your date and time for fun and profit.

Getting Rich With The Money Rock
Each day in your town one rock contains Bells which you can liberate with a well-placed Shovel strike. The more you hit the rock, the more Bells you get. To maximize the amount of Bells you get, find a rock stand next to it. Dig holes to the rear and either side of your character. Better yet, plant Bushes for a more permanent solution. Either method will trap you alongside the rock, and cancel the “push back” effect of your shovel strike. This allows you to rapidly hit the rock and make more money. Depending on what kind of tool at the time your shovel will have a different effect.

How To Restart Animal Crossing New Leaf
Unlike most of the new games, you dont have to follow any linear progression path in Animal Crossing New Leaf. So, if youre a fan of games with a defined and structured progression path, then this game might not be a suitable fit for you. The start might be slow but as you develop your town, there will be so much content to go through. Overall, it is a very casual game and you can play it at your own pace.
However, it is quite common for users to become unhappy with the layout and the progression of their town. If youre in a similar situation then you can try restarting Animal Crossing New Leaf.

In Animal Crossing and Doubutsu no Mori e+, the Fireworks Festival is held at the town’s lake on 4 from 7-9 PM, coinciding with Independence Day in the United States. According to a bulletin board posting advertising the event, the show is held to commemorate the anniversary of the Train Station opening. Villagers gather around the lake, and the fireworks can be seen reflected in the water throughout town. In the original Japanese release of Animal Crossing, Fireworks Festivals are instead held each Saturday in August.
During a Fireworks Festival, Tortimer can be found roaming in a random acre and will give the player a decorative Bottle Rocket if he is spoken to in the original Japanese release, he instead gives the player a Three-Foot Ball. In case you missed it, the Nintendo Direct for Animal Crossing: New Leaf took place earlier this morning, and an update for the title is available now. Youll have to download it manually, and I suspect thats because Nintendo didnt want to push such a huge file on anyone who didnt want it. If you do download the update from the eShop, you may want to clear some space on your SD card first, as the file will take up over 2,000 blocks on your memory card.
When you load the updated game, youll notice that the title screen has been altered to read Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome amiibo. Youll begin by riding the introductory train with Isabelle, who lets you know about your towns new drive-in campground. When you arrive, shell explain the new town initiatives, daily quests that reward the player with Mutual Exchange Of Wealth coupons, the only currency the new campground accepts. Upon visiting the campsite youll meet Harvey, a hippie-looking dog who runs the place and offers unique items in exchange for those coupons.
You can order the furniture from these RVs by spending MEOW coupons, and the items tend to be things you cant purchase in town. The rearmost RV is reserved for special characters like Jingle the Reindeer and Sow Joan, while the one closer to the camera is dedicated to summoned amiibo. If you want a summoned character to become a permanent resident, you can recruit them by visiting them at the campsite and convincing them to move to your town.

How Night Life Killed My Animal Crossing: New Leaf Town
This post has not been edited by the GamesBeat staff. Opinions by GamesBeat community writers do not necessarily reflect those of the staff.
After three months of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Ive given up. As I type this now, I am taking the cartridge out of my Nintendo 3DS, putting it in the box, and shelving it in my immense backlog of unplayed and unfinished games.
Ive played both the original Animal Crossing and City Folk extensively. Bug and fish collecting has never been my thing, but Ive gotten fully upgraded houses, stores, and some oddities here and there like a golden axe in City Folk.
At about 53 hours of New Leaf, Ive earned enough to build a house with four rooms of various sizes, three bridges, and town developments like the coffee shop and the second floor of the museum.
Two major factors are preventing me from really grinding into New Leaf: time and money.
Im in the unfortunate position of working night shift. I regularly arrive home at about 2-3 a.m. This wasnt a problem when the T& T Mart was a convenience store as it stayed open until the wee hours of the morning. I could go home, pop open New Leaf, and go about my Animal Crossing day bathed in moonlight.
While New Leaf has a lot of new content to discover, money plays an even greater role than in past installments. I simply cannot keep up with all the house upgrades and town projects. In past titles, I could see a glorious, carefree future ahead of me. In New Leaf, the debt is overwhelming.
