Latest News

Today Nintendo hosted another Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct, which ran from 10 AM ET for about 20 minutes. In the Direct, players learned what new content will be made available this November, along with a new DLC. Nintendo also announced that their new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack bundle will launch on October 25 and include the Animal Crossing DLC for $49.99 over the next 12 months, or part as a Family Membership for $79.99 over 12 months as well.

The previously discussed 2.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is scheduled to be released on November 5, 2021. This is the last free major content update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It will include new spots and new encounters such as a new museum spot called the Roost is run by Brewster, who will serve you coffee. You will also run into Animal Crossing characters, invite some with amiibos, and have some coffee with your fellow players.

Kapp’n will take you to interesting destinations on his boat via Kapp’n’s Boat Tours, as he serenades you with tunes that may or may not break your ears. It’ll cost 1000 bells per trip. You’ll visit mysterious islands that may have different seasons or different times of the day. Harv’s Island can also be visited , and you can contribute bells to help him build up his island. You can also visit Katrina and get your fortune told.

You can decorate your house outside better now. Your max storage capacity is now also 5,000, a big jump from before.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Switch Console

Alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo is dropping a limited-edition Switch console that matches the games cute, beachy aesthetic. The Joy-Cons come in sky blue and seafoam green, and the dock features Tom Nook and his sons Timmy and Tommy waving from a small island. The back of the console itself is embossed with waves and silhouettes of Animal Crossing characters camping.

There are two important things to note about this new Switch. The good news is that it is the updated Switch model with improved battery life that Nintendo released last year. The bad news is that, despite the branding, it doesnt come with a copy of the game. Youll have to buy it separately if you want to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition Switch.

The special-edition console costs the standard $299.99, and is up for pre-order at GameStop, Walmart, and Best Buy.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition Switch console

In addition to the lovely new console, Nintendo will also release an Aloha Edition Switch carrying case, patterned with mint green leaves. The carrying case will cost $24.99 and come in both standard Switch and Switch Lite sizes. Its currently available for pre-order at Target and Best Buy.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Pre

PSA: Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for pre ...

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-load is available now, so you can get the island livin’ game downloaded before its release.

Starting the Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-load is easy. Just head to the eShop, navigate over to the game’s listing, and put in your pre-order to get the option. You’ll need to pay the entire cost of the game up front, but at least you’ll be ready to go as soon as the March 20 release date arrives.

The pre-load data should take up 6.2 GB of storage according to reports. That doesn’t necessarily mean the full game will take up exactly that much space when it arrives – check out our buying guide to cheap Nintendo Switch SD cards if you’re worried about running out of space.

According to Nintendo UK, digital pre-orders for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will unlock the full copy of the game at midnight and you can start playing right away. That presumably applies to each individual region as well, meaning US East Coasters could start playing at midnight on March 20 and West Coasters at 9 pm on March 19. That way you can steal away to your own deserted island for the first time in the middle of the night, under cover of darkness. I’m sure Tom Nook will appreciate your discretion.

The whole GR+ team took a shot at designing our own Animal Crossing characters, and the results were more menacing than expected.

The Day And Night Cycle

Animal Crossing belongs to a small group of games in which the virtual time of day is same as in real life – behind our windows. So, if you decide to play only in the evenings, then you will see your village only in the moonlight. The same applies to the seasons, which change like the usual seasons. To see how autumn looks like in our village, we have to wait until… autumn.

These realistic systems have a large impact on the gameplay. Some species of fish or insects cannot be caught in the middle of the day, and some of them are only available in the winter. Therefore, if you want to reveal all the secrets of Animal Crossing New Horizons, you will have to return to the game regularly during the whole year.

The day and night cycle is also important when you want to expand your house and add other facilities on the island. If you find out that some construction or crafting upgrade will be ready next day then it means that you have to wait one day in the reality. It won’t do any good to spend more hours in the game – you just have to wait till the morning.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise Dlc Is Coming Very Soon

During a recent video presentation, Nintendo revealed a premium expansion for Animal Crossing: New Horizons called Happy Home Paradise. This premium downloadable content will allow players to join Lotties Paradise Planning team and design vacation homes for the games animal friends.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC is similar to the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer video game that was released on Nintendo 3DS in 2015. The DLC will allow players to decorate major facilities, like a school and a restaurant, as well as build vacation homes with different themes for their animal friends.

Each animal friend will want a vacation home with a particular design, and players will need to place specific items in their home to fulfill their requests. For instance, Maple may want a house with a few bear-themed decorations. Once players have placed the required items for the animals desired theme, they can use any other items they want to finish the design. Players will also be able to decorate the yard and outside area surrounding each vacation home.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC will also introduce new interior design features for players to experiment with, including partition walls, pillars, lighting effects, and more. As players learn about these techniques in the DLC, theyll also unlock the ability to use these features in their own home.

Amazon Is Delaying Shipments Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons

  • 386

Retail giant Amazon is delaying the shipment of Animal Crossing: New Horizons pre-orders, leaving buyers without the game at launch.

It’s a challenging time for everyone at the moment, including retailers who are struggling to keep up with sudden spikes in demand, and we’re hearing more and more reports of delivery delays. Most of these reports appear to be coming from the US, with most deliveries now being pushed back until next Tuesday.

just a heads up, looks like amazon is delaying Animal Crossing shipments. On a positive note, my FF7R copy is back on track for a release date delivery. Kyle Martin

Earlier this week, Amazon revealed that it was preventing sellers from sending ‘non-essential items’ to its UK and US warehouses until 5th April, telling the BBC that it was “temporarily prioritising household staples, medical supplies, and other high-demand products”.

Naturally, delays for products like video games are pretty understandable given the circumstances, but a quick search for ” on Twitter brings up several disgruntled messages with every passing minute. On the flip side, some brick-and-mortar stores have actually been selling the game earlier than planned in a bid to combat issues further down the line.

What Can I Do In The Game

Animal Crossing is a game in which you can decide on your own what you would like to achieve. You can focus on collecting furniture and designing the most beautiful interiors that you have dreamed of. Or you will devote all your time to collecting various species of fish and insects that can be donated to the Museum later. Nothing prevents you from playing as the gardener of the island and taking care of plants .

In practice you will do most of those things, one after another. However, the most important thing is that you don’t have to hurry anywhere. There is no rush. You can decide what you want to do, so if you enjoy taking care of flowers and planting them – then do it! Tom Nook and his quests can wait.
