Animal Crossing Money Making: How To Get Bells Fast In New Horizons
Below you’ll find some money making methods for New Horizons, which will make paying off your mortgage or funding that new addition to your island a lot easier.
- Purchase Bell Vouchers with your Nook Miles. For 500 Nook Miles each, one of these vouchers will give you 3000 Bells. This makes Bell Vouchers a great way to earn some quick money, especially if you’ve collected a large amount of Nook Miles.
- Play the stalk market. If you’re looking for a high risk, high reward investment, then the stalk market in New Horizons is for you. Every week Daisy Mae will visit your island to sell turnips at a price that will vary from week to week. You can then sell these turnips to the Nooklings; their prices will differ from day to day, however, so you might end up making a loss.
- Sell the ‘Hot Item’ of the day at Nook’s Cranny. Once Nook’s Cranny has opened on your island, the Nooklings will select a ‘Hot Item’ every day. If you sell this specific item to the Nooklings on this day, you’ll receive double the profit. The ‘Hot Item’ is randomly selected, so you might not always be able to take advantage of this bonus.
Hopefully these will help you build that new bridge or buy that sofa you’ve been eyeing in Nook’s Cranny a little bit faster!
Fishing Challenges & Selling To Cj
Fishing is a popular pastime in ACNH, with the waters around the island filled with fish. With your fishing rod at hand, you can earn some money fast by selling your catches to Nooklings at the Nooks Cranny.. You could even find rare ocean fish if you go at night, which could fetch you over 10,000 Bells. With no limit on the amount of fish you can catch every day, you can earn a huge amount of Bells.
You will need fish bait to summon fish in the lakes or ocean, which you can learn to craft by digging up a manila clam on the beach. These can be found by searching for small, reappearing holes in beaches that have water spitting out of them periodically.;
To get the very best value for your fish, keep an eye out for CJ, the young beaver with a passion for angling. After completing a small fishing challenge, CJ will let you sell your fish to him at 150% their normal value during his random visits or during one of the quarterly fishing tourneys.;
Use The Stalk Market Carefully
Animal Crossing fans will know that Joan arrives now and again to sell her batch of turnips to you. In New Horizons, you will want to continue to keep an eye out Sunday mornings but instead of Joan, her granddaughter Daisy Mae takes her place. By Monday, you can sell turnips that youve bought, but be warned: there is a risk of losing significant amounts of money too. On Sundays, turnip prices dont change; Daisy Mae will have a standard fee thats between 90 to 110 bells per turnip. You can buy a batch and keep an eye on the fluctuating prices at Nooks Cranny through the week, and eventually, you may encounter a day where your turnips can be sold at a profit. Be warned, though: turnips go rotten after a week.

Sell Turnips At High Prices
The Stalk Market has been a mainstay in the Animal Crossing franchise since the beginning. Daisy Mae visits islands every Sunday morning until 12 p.m. with a fresh crop of turnips, which she sells at prices ranging from 90 to 110 bells per turnip. Players then have one week to sell their turnips to Timmy and Tommy, who can offer prices from 15 bells to 650 bells. The price changes twice a day. It’s a bit of a gamble, because you never know if or when you will get a decent price.
Thankfully, there are tools on the Internet to help track and predict daily turnip prices. In addition, you can check out sites like Turnip Exchange to find islands with high prices. Fill your pockets with turnips and reap the rewards.

Where Do You Enter Design Codes In Animal Crossing
Players can also share these creations with the world through special Design Codes that can be entered in the Custom Designs Portal in the Able Sisters shop. These Design Codes are different from the QR codes that were generated in past Animal Crossing games, like Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
When bell bags are hit out of a money rock the sound of collecting a one-up mushroom in the Mario franchise is heard. Isabelle has a head shaped similarly to a bag of Bells, with her bun appearing similar to the opening of the bag tied shut.
Best Ways To Get Bells Fast In Animal Crossing New Horizons
Here are a few ways to get Bells fast in the game and information to help save you some time. Selling crafted items will get you more Bells and save you time.
- Every day look for;Money Rock.;When you find it, you will know because every hit you land on the rock will make it drop Bells instead of resources. Hitting the Rock 8 times will make it drop over 10,000 Bells.
- Balloon presents when you get your slingshot. Keep an eye out for them. They drop all kinds of things, from clothing to new fruit, even recipes. The best part is they drop anywhere from 10,000 Bells to 30,000 Bells.
- Smartly manage your inventory. Some items you can put into your house storage, even better, you can display your items right in front of Nooks Cranny.
- Dig, dig, dig the more you do, the more chances you will have to get duplicates of fossils which sell for a lot.
- Prioritize fishing over catching bugs. You have a higher chance of finding a high-value fish. Then you do a bug.
- Stay near the ocean while fishing at night as your walking the beach collect conch shells and other high-value shells all while you fish Recommend doing this maximize the time spent.

How Do You Get Emotes In Animal Crossing New Horizons
To get emotes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you have to do a few specific things. First, youll need to have played through several days of the game, and finished constructing both Blathers Museum and the Nooks Cranny store. Once this is done, you simply need to wander around your island and wait for one of our residents to run up to you.
Keep An Eye On The Hot Item At Nooks Cranny
The Nooks Cranny store is the first you build and can be unlocked quite early into the game, especially if you use the hole trick to harvest your resources. Once open the store will have a different hot item each day.
You can find out the days item by asking Timmy and Tommy or checking the sign outside. This item will sell for double value so keep a supply of crafting materials on hand and you can profit from crafting and selling this way.
Earning Bells In Town
Catch Bugs During Evening Hours
You can randomly find rare bugs and fish while you play, but I found catching bugs in the evening to be an efficient money maker.
Playing at night in past Animal Crossing games comes with significant restrictions. Shops are closed unless you have a town ordinance in place to keep them available into the late hours, and there are generally fewer things to do with your time. Shops close in New Horizons too, but there are still plenty of other activities to do.
If you want to make the most of your time, catching bugs in the evening hours can be immensely profitable. At least during the current season in the northern hemisphere , you can catch a number of expensive critters. Tarantulas in particular arent all that rare; they roam your town and its outskirts at night fairly regularly, and they can be sold for 8,000 bells each. Pro tip: Tarantulas may seem difficult to catch at first, but if you spot one in the distance, you can approach it slowly by holding down A with your net in hand. From there, the tarantula will lift its front legs to charge. Thats the sign to stop. Then just move closer, inch by inch. When its legs go down and youre finally close enough, trap it with your net.
As for other insects, emperor butterflies can be found during early mornings and all through the night, particularly near cliffs and flowers. Man-faced stink bugs are also worthwhile, which go for 1,000, but theyre so common that you can find a number at a time.
How Do You Give Bells In Animal Crossing New Horizons
When you press A with your cursor on the icon, you can select an amount of Bells to change into a Money Bag. Note: You can turn any unit of bells into an item in your inventory, though units less than 1000 Bells are turned into Coins instead. The maximum number of Money Bags is 99, for a maximum of 99,000 Bells.
Collect Bugs Fish And Weeds To Sell To Npcs
Selling things to Timmy and Tommy is not always your most profitable option. It may be your first instinct to capture a bug or fish and immediately head off to Nook’s Cranny, but try to hold on to the critters for a bit. There are a few NPCs who will make it worth your while.
First, we have Flick, a punky lizard who loves to collect bugs. There’s also CJ the beaver, a fishing extraordinaire. A recent addition to the NPCs, Leif the sloth, runs a traveling gardening stand and will take weeds off your hands. All of these characters buy their respective collectibles at a premium price. It may take a while to see them on your island, but the bigger the collection you bring them, the more;bells you make. Rarer bugs and fish are even more profitable.

So What Are Nook Miles And How Do I Get Them
Nook Miles are a secondary type of currency in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Similar to Air Miles and MEOW coupons from New Leaf, these tokens are awarded to players for the completion of various tasks around the island. With multiple Nook Miles to collect and unique rewards to exchange them for at the Nook Stop, its well worth paying attention to these stamps. You can use Nook Miles to travel to randomly generated Mystery Islands, for example, or purchase exclusive items.
Crafting Can Net You A Lot More Money Than Selling Raw Materials
One relatively new addition in Animal Crossing New Horizons is that of a more fleshed-out crafting system where the player character can collect crafting recipes and resources such as wood, iron and clay and then combine them to create items from scratch. The point here is simple: often, its more economical to craft items from the raw materials then sell the items than it is to sell the raw materials.
Heres an example or two. If you fish an Old Tyre out of the water, you can sell it to Nooks Cranny for 10 Bells. If you take the Old Tyre to a crafting station and craft a Tyre Toy item, however, itll be worth 20 bells. Another: youll get 750 bells for two Iron Nuggets. That same number of Iron Nuggets can be used to craft a Frying Pan, which sells for 1500 Bells. Thats double your money!
This is obviously a time-consuming activity. But if youre early on in your island experience, it doesnt hurt remotely to craft excess raw materials into items before you sell them. And remember, you probably want to keep at least a little of each back, as sometimes wood and iron, in particular, are used to gate progression where youll need to turn some in to open up new shops or build new infrastructure.

Playing The Stalk Market
After youve unlocked Nooks Cranny, youll start getting a visit from Daisy Mae every Sunday morning and leaves around noon. This relative of Joan sells turnips and theyre not for eating! Instead, youll treat these like stocks — yeah, you read that right. Its called the Sow Joans Stalk Market, to be exact.
Like in Animal Crossings before, these turnips go bad after a week, so after you invest, you have a whole week to sell them. Timmy and Tommy wont buy them on Sunday, but they will any other day Their prices change in the morning and the afternoon.
Daisy Mae sells turnips each week at a different price per turnip. Sometimes it’s 97 Bells, sometimes it’s 92 Bells. Regardless, you have to buy them in bundles of 10. If you want to play this game make sure you have a lot of Bells on you! Like stocks, this is an investment, and so long as you sell your turnips before they rot, you should make money back.
When you decide to sell is entirely up to you, but keep an eye out for higher rates.
Turnip rates are usually at their highest on Tuesday, so try then! If the morning price isn’t appealing, you should probably sell some during the afternoon price.
Here are some things to keep in mind:

How To Grow Money Trees In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Found a shiny gold patch on your island? You could be planting money trees
ust like the old Animal Crossing games, you can plant bells to grow money trees in New Horizons.
If you’ve been diving headfirst into the calming world of Animal Crossing, you might have noticed that sometimes your island will have small glowing patches that you can dig up.
Once you do, you’ll be rewarded with 1,000 bells and you can bury the cover the hole back up and be on your merry way… Or, you could bury the 1,000 you just got back into the hole.
If you notice, once you dig up the golden patch the hole left behind will still be glowing gold. So if you then bury the 1,000 Bells you just received, you can turn it into a tree in a matter of days.
Once the tree fully grows, it will continue to bear fruit. And fruit, in this case, comes in the form of sweet, sweet bells.
