Kk Slider Is On Tom Nook’s Payroll In Animal Crossing
K.K. Slider is a staple of the Animal Crossing series. He is the troubadour that provides the series with its music. His widely varying oeuvre contains genres from Hip-Hop to even Polka, with the recent New Horizons update including new songs for K.K. to perform. All of this has made K.K. Slider seemingly the single most popular musician in the world of Animal Crossing.
Not that he needs it, but K.K. Slider is also employed by Tom. On every Sunday in New Horizons, Tom hires K.K. Slider to play on the island for the residents. It makes sense the most successful businessperson in the series is the only character able to afford the price of a K.K. Slider private concert.

Online Buying And Trading
While these treasure island streams have grown in popularity since New Horizons‘ recent 2.0 update, players have been thriving with online memberships since the game’s release in 2020. The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Discord server has dozens of active channels specific to buying, selling, and trading everything from items to villagers. Players can get in touch with each other and organize a time to visit an island with 300,000 Bells in their pocket, ready to purchase a rare villager that the host has on their island. The ethics of the Discord community are much less grey than those of treasure islands, as these players are generally selling items obtained through normal gameplay for in-game items and currency.
Other external online services like Turnip Exchange and Nookazon are solely dedicated to this same online market. Turnip Exchange allows players to visit islands where Timmy and Tommy are purchasing turnips for a high price, providing the opportunity to bring hundreds of turnips and leave with millions of Bells easily. Nookazon is what it sounds like â. If something exists in New Horizons, it’s probably available on Nookazon either for free, in an auction, or at a set price. Everything on Nookazon is bought and sold using Bells or Nook Miles Tickets â the only real-life money required is an investment in a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now for the Nintendo Switch.

Get To Work For Paradise Planning
New Horizons first premium DLC expansion, Happy Home Paradise, puts players to work as architects and interior decorators building dream getaways for the islands Paradise Planning development company. Theres so much new to do here, Nintendo devoted 10 minutes of Fridays show to tease it all. Players will be interviewing their NPC clientele, determining their decoration preferences, and building a home to satisfy their whims. New interior design options show cool floor plans with new lighting and a lot of charm.
What Content Does Happy Home Paradise Dlc Include
The new content is aimed to introduce a new mechanic that can guarantee tons of game hours for those passionate about design.
Designing dream vacation homes for characters: the main addition of Happy Home Paradise is a new mechanic where players will have to design homes according to the preferences of each client. Furniture, structure and even choosing the location of the home are some of the elements that will have to be decided. Lottie is the character that will help players receive these petitions in the Paradise Planning team located in a new archipelago. The more houses players design, the more furniture will become available for them and the more options they will have for the clients.
Design facilities as part of the Paradise Planning team‘s tasks is helping them to develop several buildings for the island where the organizations are located. To do so, players can help design schools, restaurants and cafés.
The Happy Home Network in the NookPhone users can share photos of their designs and follow other designers to share and get inspiration.
Using amiibos to invite specific clients to design their vacation homes and using the current amiibo accessories from Animal Crossing, players can invite residents like Isabelle and design their vacation home.

Brewster And The Roost
Coffee-slinging pigeon Brewster is opening up shop in a museum expansion: The Roost opens for business on Nov. 5. The coffeeshop is tucked away on the upper-left side of the museum, where Brewster is serving up the finest joe to New Horizons islanders. In the Animal Crossing Direct, Nintendo showed that coffee costs 200 bells to sip at the bar, but players can take their coffees over to tables to enjoy with visiting friends, too.
Isabelle appeared at The Roost in the clip, too meaning that The Roost, once again, will likely become a gathering spot to better get to know more folks on the island. Other characters can be invited using amiibo cards, activated at the yellow telephone in the cafés corner.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons 20 Harv’s Island Shops
Harriet was previously unavailable as an NPC in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Her amiibo card could only be used on Harv’s island to obtain her poster, but she wouldn’t come into the game for photos. Now, Harriet is helping Harv renovate his island and get the open market up and running. Her shop can be visited to change the player’s hairstyle, and she can even give brand new haircuts. The New Horizons 2.0 update will bring new hairstyles for players to collect from Harriet and try out. Once the hairstyle is obtained, it will be available to use or change in a mirror or vanity.

New Items And Customization
Nintendo is also introducing a ton of new items and customization options in the 2.0 update. Tom Nook will be able to remodel your home with a variety of new exteriors. There will be an assortment of new fence types as well, and you’ll even be able to customize some of them. On top of that, there are new cooking DIY recipes. You can plant vegetables like tomatoes, carrots and more and use those ingredients to create dishes like soup and pizza.
If you’ve accumulated a ton of Nook Miles, you’ll soon be able to redeem those for new furniture, including new types of fountains, streetlights and more. Nintendo is also adding an outdoor storage shed that connects to your storage boxes back home, as well as an outdoor ABD terminal that lets you easily access your account without having to return to the Resident Services building.
You’ll be able to dig up gyroids and place them around your home.
K.K. Slider is expanding his set list, as well. The wandering musician will have 12 new songs to play following the update. Gyroids from previous games are also returning. You’ll be able to dig up gyroid fragments from the ground, which you can then plant and water to grow new gyroids. Additionally, Nintendo is adding 11 new gestures and 11 new hairstyles to the game, and you’ll now be able to customize the ceilings in your home with lights and other fixtures.
How Much Is The Dlc And How Can I Get Access To It
Players can get Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise for a price of USD $24.99MSRP / CAD $32.99MSRP or by downloading it at no additional cost for those members of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Unlocking Waterscaping And Cliffscaping
Fortunately, it’s not too hard to do so. Both waterscaping and cliffscaping are available via permits you can purchase at the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services. They cost 6,000 Nook Miles each so that they can be a bit pricey.
But at this point, you’ll also have unlocked both Nook Miles+ as well as the daily bonus task to get 5x the miles. Depending on how much you play, it might take several in-game days to get both, but if you’re not quite to the end of Project K yet, it’s easy enough to save up the Miles ahead of time.
Timmy & Tommy Run Animal Crossing’s Nookington Stores

Timmy and Tommy are twin brothers who run Tom’s Nookington stores. Making their first appearances in the original Animal Crossing game, Timmy and Tommy have worked with Tom for quite some time, following him between regions to support his franchise. However, Timmy and Tommy’s relationship with Tom Nook has been rather unclear since the series’ start.
Timmy and Tommy appear to be the sons of Tom and even share his last name, but this may not be the case. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Tom states that Timmy and Tommy are not related to him in any way. Rather, he took them in as apprentices so he could mentor them and show them how to run a business.
Related: Animal Crossing: What Happens If You Dont Pay Back Tom Nook
This mentor-apprentice relationship between Tom, Timmy, and Tommy was at first theorized by Animal Crossing players, but appears to be verified by the latest installments in the series, as Timmy and Tommy run their own stores in those games. In New Leaf, Timmy and Tommy run the Nook Emporium, and in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, they own Nook’s Cranny. Still, Tom asks players in those games to invest money to support and help grow their business, and the twins use the Nook name to bolster their shop’s legitimacy. Regardless of whether they are related to Nook or are still on his payroll, they still owe much to their mentor.

Which Happy Animal Crossing Home Paradise Dlc Purchase Option Is Best
Many avid New Horizons players likely already have a base Nintendo Switch Online subscription – which costs $20 per year if all 12 months are bought concurrently – since it’s required for online multiplayer. Upgrading to an individual plan that includes the Expansion Pack would be an additional $30, and New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise is $25 by itself. Getting the Animal Crossing DLC through NSO will also lead to a partial loss of access without an active subscription.
The Expansion Pack adds some convolutedness to Nintendo’s arguably lackluster online service, and many fans aren’t happy with the Expansion Pack price. Those singularly interested in the Animal Crossing DLC might be better off simply purchasing Happy Home Paradise from the eShop outright, since the only other current benefit to upgrading to the NSO + Expansion Pack instead is the N64 and Genesis games. The value of the new content coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons is subjective, and $25 is on the high end for DLC, but it appears to bring a significant number of new gameplay features.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise will be released for Nintendo Switch on November 5, 2021.
Animal Crossing: Every Character On Tom Nook’s Payroll
Animal Crossing’s Tom Nook has grown from a shop owner to the CEO of Nook Inc, but which characters have worked for Tom on his journey to the top?
Animal Crossing’s industrious tanuki Tom Nook has a long list of characters on his payroll. Tom has been part of the series since it first launched in Japan in 2001. Since then, his business and the number of people who work for him have expanded tremendously.
In the original Animal Crossing game, Tom ran his Nookington store chain and dabbled in real estate. In fact, Tom encourages the player to move to different regions and offers loans in every Animal Crossing game. Paying off these loans is the focal point of the series, and one of the only ways to do that is to work for Tom to help him run his many businesses.

Tom Nook is an influential Animal Crossing villager, having expanded his business empire steadily over the course of the series. With the help of his associates, he’s acquired the Happy Home Academy, Nook’s Homes, the Nook Emporium, Nook’s Cranny, and finally Nook Inc., the leading enterprise that now owns these others companies as subsidiaries. By this point, Nook has become the singularly most successful businessperson in the world of Animal Crossing, with his expanding empire necessitating new hires. Tom has not been afraid to hire helping hands, especially when those hands are in need of a job, with the following Animal Crossing villagers having all joined the company.

Blathers & Celeste Both Work For Tom Nook
Blathers and Celeste are a pair of owls who run the museum in the Animal Crossing series. Though Blathers may seem to own Animal Crossing’s museum, Tom is actually the one who creates the property. This can be seen in New Horizons, as Tom invites Blathers to the island and asks for the player to find a place for Nook Inc. to construct the museum.
Related: Animal Crossing New Horizons: Why Blathers Hates Bugs
Blathers has worked as the museum’s curator since the original Animal Crossing game. Blathers is hard at work – he is always at the museum – but hardly working – he sleeps during the busiest hours of the day. Blathers is thus lucky that Tom has been able to bring his business expertise and money to create the beautiful structures in the museums.
Blathers’ younger sister Celeste worked for Animal Crossing’s museum when she first joined the series in Animal Crossing: Wild World, too. In that game and in Animal Crossing: City Folk, which was released three years later in 2008, Celeste operated the observatory, assisting any player who sought to stargaze. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the observatory was removed from the series, but Celeste continued to work in the museum shop and on its second floor. She has since then left her job in the museum, which is probably for the best considering that she had a crush on Tom Nook in Wild World.
