Keep Your Eye On The Sky

At night, shooting stars will occasionally flash across the sky. If you look up and catch sight of one, you can press the A button to wish upon it. Wishing on stars makes star fragments wash onto the beach the following day, which can help you craft unique items, like wands.

Pay attention to morning announcements, because Isabelle will occasionally mention nighttime meteor showers, which are the perfect time to scoop up a dozen stars or more. Shooting stars seem to move in packs, too, so if you see one in the sky, keep looking up for a few seconds — you might get another handful of free wishes. Finally, depending on when you wish on stars, you might get unique Zodiac fragments. Only time will tell if these fragments combine to create special items, but I can tell you that’s what I’m wishing for with each shooting star.

Catch All The Fish And Bugs

Another early tip: Catch every animal you see — which pretty much consists of fish and bugs. Keep an eye on flowers for stinkbugs and mantises, snag butterflies in the groves, and shake trees and rocks to find pill bugs and spiders. Here’s how my colleague caught the elusive stringfish.As soon as you craft your first bug net and fishing pole, start handing over your collected critters to Tom Nook. Sure, you could sell these creatures to Timmy and Tommy, the island’s resident traders, but Tom Nook will send each unique discovery to his friend Blathers the owl, who lives off-island.

Long story short, after enough donations, Blathers the owl will come build a museum on the island and set you on to a much larger collection project, opening up the game considerably.;

Invite New Villagers To Your Island

There are hundreds of potential villagers — all with their own personalities and unique designs — who can move to your island, but your little swatch of land can only accommodate 9 at a time. As you build on the barren island of the beginning of the game, hand-picking your cohabitants adds richness to your personal utopia.

To attract the first three townspeople, just buy Nook Miles Tickets to other islands from the Nook Stop machine in Resident Services. The first three islands you visit will feature a character excited to join your community. But once you’ve welcomed the first three newbies, Tom Nook will ask you to build a campsite, where tourists will stay for one day at a time. Invite campers, and they’ll also move to your island.

As a bonus, you can buy collectible;Amiibo figurines or cards;of your favorite Nintendo characters online, and they allow you to invite unique villagers with special attributes to your island. As those who have used Amiibo in other Nintendo games know, they’re not essential for the core game, but they add small elements to further personalize your experience, and sometimes even cross over characters between Nintendo properties.

Finally, befriend those villagers by talking to them every day, giving them gifts and sending them cards in the mail . Not only do you earn Nook Miles by befriending villagers, but your new friends will also begin to give you more gifts, like clothes and medicine.

Sanrio Amiibo Cards For Animal Crossing Explained

Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Part 47 – Turnips (Nintendo 3DS Gameplay Walkthrough Day 22)

The Sanrio Amiibo Cards are a set of six Amiibo cards which were originally released in December 2016 for Animal Crossing: New Leaf in a cross promotion with Sanrio – a Japanese company which creates a range of products based around different cute characters.

If you’ve heard of Hello Kitty, then you’ve heard of Sanrio.

Each Sanrio Amiibo Card is focused around a specific villager who, in turn, takes inspiration from one of Sanrio’s characters, including Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and Hello Kitty.

With the release of Ver. 1.9.0 of New Horizons, the Sanrio Amiibo Cards, including the ones originally released for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, can now be used to add the Sanrio villagers, and their items, to your island.

Look Out For Fake Art

Animal Crossing introduced Redd, the art-dealing fox with whom fans of the series may already be familiar, a few months after the game launched. Redd sells paintings you can hang in the new wing of your museum, but he also tries to offload knock-offs on unwitting players. When you ask to inspect a painting before buying it, check it against guides like this one to see if you should lay down the money or keep your bells in your pocket.;

Part 4 Of 6: Visiting Tortimer Island

  • 1Know why you want to go to the Island. Tortimer Island is one of the best places to earn bells anywhere in the game. you can catch the rarest fish and bugs on the island, and can compete in mini-games to earn prizes.XResearch source
  • 2Pay off your loan as soon as possible. When you start the game, you will owe 39,800 Bells on your home. You will need to pay this off completely before Tortimer Island is unlocked. Use the methods above to make money every day and pay down the loan.
  • 3Talk to Tortimer on the dock. Once you’ve paid off your loan, the town’s previous mayor Tortimer will appear on your dock. Talking to him will allow you to visit Tortimer Island starting on the next day.
  • 4Talk to Kapp’n to take the boat to the island. Kapp’n will appear at the docks on the day after you talk to Tortimer. Taking the boat will cost 1,000 Bells, but the rewards on the island will far outweigh the cost.
  • 5Fish for rare fish. Some of the most valuable fish are found in the waters around Tortimer Island. In fact, so many of the fish are valuable that you’re probably better off throwing back everything that’s worth less than 1,000 bells. On Tortimer Island, the time of day does not affect which fish can appear.
  • 6Catch rare bugs. Like fishing, hunting for bugs is very lucrative on Tortimer Island. The rare olden stag bug, for example, can be sold for 12,000 Bells. you can find different bugs around the island depending on the location and the time of day.

    ‘animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Sanrio Collab Brings Hello Kitty Items To Your Town

    Those Animal Crossing: New Horizons-Sanrio collaboration amiibo cards, which were only previously available in Japan and the EU, are finally arriving in the US on March 26th. Nintendo first announced their stateside release back in January, but now the company is giving you a glimpse of what you can get when you snap up the collaboration pack. The gaming giant has posted videos on YouTube and Twitter showing the villagers you can add to your town, as well as the Sanrio-themed items you’ll be able to buy from the in-game store when you scan the amiibo cards.

    From , My Melody, to Keroppi, get ready to discover new residents, styles & items inspired by adorable friends! The #AnimalCrossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack comes to the US on 3/26, exclusively at !

    There are six villagers you can add to your town by scanning the cards, and each one gives you access to specific Sanrio items. The Rilla card adds Hello Kitty-themed furniture and wallpapers to the list of items you can buy, for instance. You’ll also get items based on My Melody, Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and Kerokerokeroppi with the other villagers. Each theme has a different set on offer the Cinnamoroll items have tablets, umbrellas and signage for a cafe, while the Kerokerokeroppi-themed ones include a bridge and koi pond for a Japanese garden.

    Plant Plenty Of Fruit

    Fruit trees are a great way to get income early in the game, and once you get a shovel, planting a pear or apple tree is easy and pays off quickly. Another semisecret form of income: money trees!;

    Around the island, golden beams occasionally shine up from the ground. Dig them up and you’ll find a bag of bells . Instead of pocketing the bells and covering the hole, you can plant the bag to grow a money tree. In fact, if you select the bells in your inventory and portion out a bag of 10,000, you can grow a tree that drops bags of 10,000 bells when it grows up. If you do this once per day, you should maintain a consistent income of 20,000 bells per day, between planting and harvesting your money bags.

    Play The Stalk Market

    Playing the Stalk Market is a pretty reliable way to increase your weekly revenue. You can buy turnips on Sundays from Daisy Mae for prices that usually hover around 100 bells. For the rest of the week, you can check in the morning and the afternoon at the Nook’s Cranny store to see the rates for turnips. The goal is to buy low and sell high.

    A few important notes: Turnips rot after a week, so you can’t just hoard them waiting for a giant payday. They also rot if you travel back in time. And checking prices twice a day takes time, so you probably don’t want to start investing in turnips until the time is worth the payoff. I don’t invest unless I have at least 50,000 bells. Then, even a small rise in prices can lead to a significant return. If you want to get intense about it, you can even check out websites that fans have built to calculate the trajectory of the Stalk Market across the week.

    New Leaf – Welcome Amiibo

    Single-player, multiplayer

    Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a 2012 life simulationvideo game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DSconsole. In the game, the human character takes on the role of mayor in a town populated with anthropomorphic animals. As the fourth main title in the Animal Crossing series, it was released in Japan in November 2012, and in North America, Europe and Australia in June 2013.

    While retaining gameplay from older titles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf marks a change in the series, as the player now becomes the mayor of the town. With the help of the townsfolk and a secretary it is now the player’s job to make the town a better place to live.

    The game received critical acclaim, with many citing the improvements upon prior entries in the series. Although the title was re-released under the Nintendo Selects banner in North America and as Happy Price Selection in Japan, an updated version with Amiibo support was released for free on the Nintendo eShop in November 2016 for owners of the original version. A retail version of the update was released as Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome Amiibo in late 2016.
