Explore Deserted Islands On Mystery Tours
Using a Nook Miles Ticket, which costs 2,000 Nook Miles, you can visit a random deserted island on a “mystery tour.” There are a lot of benefits to this, but some of these islands are especially good for making money. You could find an island covered in money rocks, an island covered in rare flowers that attract rare butterflies, or even an island crawling with tarantulas. We recommend emptying your pockets of everything except the essentials before you leave for an island so you can carry as much home with you as possible and have an even bigger payout.
Money Tree In Animal Crossing
This method is a physical representation of money that grows on trees. Players need to make a small investment, but unlike other methods, this process offers a guaranteed return.
Players need to start by digging a hole in their islands and planting 10,000 bells.
That’s about it. Players will need to check back after a couple of days and should find 30,000 bells. The best part about this method is that players can repeat this process as many times as they want.
The only condition is the investment of 10,000 bells.

Greedy Gardening: Plant A Money Tree
Im sure by now youve noticed a glowing patch of grass somewhere else on your island every day. Dig it up, and you get 1,000 bells. It may not sound like much pocket money, but take another look. That patch is still glowing when you extract the cash, right? Well, toss a bag of cash back in there, and youll sprout a money tree in five or six days with sacks of bells hanging from it like fruit.
These wont regrow like fruit, and youll only get 3,000 bells per day if you throw back in what you get. But play it smart. Instead of that chump change, dump a sack of 10,000 bells in the hole, and youll boost the payout to 30,000 per tree. Make it a daily chore, and youll gain a net 140,000 bells per week.
However, players have been trying a new trick that seems to be working out. Although most players wont try it, some gamblers will bury 99,000 bells in a hole. For a long time, players thought this risk wasnt worth it. But if you wait until a day when, during the morning announcements, Isabelle mentions that her astrology said she will be lucky, then its time to bury 99,000 bells. Its the only way youll be able to yield 297,000 bells from the money tree.

Use Nook Miles Tickets To Go To Mystery Islands
Obtain a Nook Miles Ticket by exchanging 2,000 Nook Miles. This allows you to travel to another island, where you can find non-native fruit, fossils, and extra materials from trees and rocks.
Try Looking for a Tarantula Island
There are rare mystery islands that have a high spawn rate of Tarantulas. Earn a lot of bells by catching as many as you can and selling them to Flick when he visits your island.
Check out our article below to learn more about Tarantula Islands.
Collect Resources And Craft Away
Collecting materials is one of the main pillars of New Horizons, but once youve basically built every recipe in your inventory, those resources can start piling up in your inventory. Instead of letting them take valuable space away from the bugs and fish youre waiting to sell, decide how much you actually need to keep in your stockpiles, and then start crafting stuff with the rest. While the tree branch items are mostly worthless, you might be surprised how much money you can make by transforming surplus wood, stones and iron nuggets into furniture and selling it to Nooks Cranny. Prioritize the Hot Item of the Day, which sells for double the bells. If your Hot Items are particularly valuable, you may even want to consider doing a Mystery Island Tour to collect even more materials to make as many as possible and reel in the dough.
How To Make 1 Million Bells Through Time Travel
You can use Time Travel to make a million bells fast and you wont have to worry about weeds or villagers leaving. Your only real consequence is sometimes having to kill a few roaches in your home.
The money you deposit into your ABD Savings account will gain interest over time. Like real-life, the longer you leave that money – in the bank, untouched and the more money you have in the bank period – the more money you will gain! Fortunately, unlike real-life, this interest rate is actually pretty good!
Heres how to get a million bells easily:
Make The Most Of The Hot Item: Turn Trash Into Bells
This isnt something youll do every single day, but its one to watch out for at least. Each day, Timmy and Tommy pay double for a certain item. Its always one you have the DIY recipe for, so you can almost always put this opportunity to good use. Im not going to suggest you burn through your supply of iron ore whenever they ask for a table, but its a good way to turn any excess or common materials into a decent payday. You have a lot of trees on your island, right? So if youre not using that wood for anything else, why not turn them into a load of benches, chairs, or beds whenever theyre paying out for them?
When you start to learn some more elusive recipes, you can even double the worth of something like gold nuggets. Though you can sell these for 10,000 bells a pop, using one to craft a hot item like the Golden Gears will immediately bump up the return to anywhere over 20,000 bells. That 2x increase can really add up.

Tips And Tricks For Making Money Early On
When youre looking to pay off your fist loan to Tom Nook, youll want to focus on earning Nook Miles rather than Bells, but that doesnt mean you cant do both at the same time. Many of the early Nook Miles challenges require you to simply play the game. Here are some activities we recommend doing in your first few days. This particular part is intended for new players who are unfamiliar with making Bells in Animal Crossing:
Keep up with these things and you should have a fair bit of money in no time while working on unlocking your first home upgrade. Be sure to visit our Nook Miles page if youre specifically having trouble reaching the first 5,000 miles to see whats easy for you to unlock. There are a few tasks you should be doing daily, too.
Convert Nook Miles Into Bells
This wasnt a feature I touched much, but if you have Nook Miles to spare, you can always convert them into bells at the Resident Services kiosk in the town center. The kiosk will print out a voucher, which you can bring to Nooks Cranny in exchange for 3,000 bells. Now, if only you could convert bells into Nook Miles, too.

Play The Stalk Market Wisely
Turnips are like stocks in the world of Animal Crossing, and every Sunday, a boar called Daisy Mae comes to islands to sell them. Your goal is to buy them at the lowest possible price, and sell them at the highest. While a lot of this is up to luck, you increase your odds of favorable sales by coordinating with friends to buy cheap and sell high. There are also massive online communities dedicated to turnip sales. The more involved you are, the surer you’ll be to know at least someone who’ll have stellar prices throughout the week, so the more you’re willing to invest, the more you can make. Some players have been known to make millions of bells in a single sale.
Consequences Of Time Travel In Animal Crossing
Be warned, using the time-traveling glitch in New Horizons doesnt come without its dangers too. You may not get in trouble for cheating the game, but there are a few things that could happen to your island you may be wary of.

From losing streaks, to having villagers wanting to move out, and gaining a bedhead, our time travel guide will fill you in on all those pesky cons. You may have vanished into the future to bag those free bells, but the world continued on without you for a while.
Of course, this method of gaining bells may leave a sour taste in some players mouths. Its technically a bug or cheat.
Plenty of fans are keen to stick to more lawful ways of making lots of bells in their Animal Crossing adventures, and thats fine too.

Play The Stalk Market To Make Big Gains
Once a week, every Sunday, an NPC animal, Daisy Mae, will be wandering your island. She’s taking over the role from her grandmother Joan, and Animal Crossing fans will be pleased to hear that despite the management change the Stalk Market is back in this game in much the same way. It’s Animal Crossing’s take on the stock market, and it’s all about turnips. ‘Cos of course it is.
Anyway, for the uninitiated, it’s pretty simple: on a Sunday you have a chance to buy Turnips from Daisy Mae at a set price. Throughout the week the price of Turnips at Nook’s Cranny will vary greatly, twice a day, to the point where selling them might net you a huge profit in bells or a loss of your hard-earned money. You simply have to keep an eye on the market by checking in with Timmy and Tommy and sell at the right time.
If you don’t sell your Turnips before the following Sunday, they go stale and become worthless. So it’s a risk-versus-reward way of making money – but it can be extremely rewarding. Molly Mae will start showing up the first Sunday after you’ve helped to have Nook’s Cranny built.
Find And Grow Perfect Fruit
Perfect fruit looks especially lush and tantalizing, and one piece is worth 600 bells. You can plant perfect fruit to grow a tree full of perfect fruit, but perfect fruit trees are fragile, and they need to be re-planted after theyve been harvested. You can take home a non-local piece of perfect fruit from a friends town and sell it for 3,000 bells, but you unfortunately cant grow non-local perfect fruit trees.

Sell Hot Items From Nooks Cranny
After youve finished building Nooks Cranny, Timmy and Tommy will inform you of a few different services they offer upon first visiting their shop. One of the new services involves a hot item of the day. The hot item will change daily, and if you bring one in to sell, theyll double the price.
The hot item of the day will be displayed daily on the sign in front of the shop or by asking Timmy and Tommy directly.
Some of these methods should be recognizable to familiar players of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons series, but even so, making Bells in this new game is time-consuming . If you want to become the next Bell-billionaire, be sure to plan your day wisely!
Find Your Daily Money Rock
Every day, one of the rocks on your island will be the designated Money rock. There’s a time limit for hitting the rock, and the amount of bells you get increases the more times you hit the rock!
In order to hit the rock as many times as possible, dig holes behind you before you start hitting the rock. This allows you to hit the rock up to eight times, yielding the maximum reward.

Crafting Can Net You A Lot More Money Than Selling Raw Materials
One relatively new addition in Animal Crossing New Horizons is that of a more fleshed-out crafting system where the player character can collect crafting recipes and resources such as wood, iron and clay and then combine them to create items from scratch. The point here is simple: often, it’s more economical to craft items from the raw materials then sell the items than it is to sell the raw materials.
Here’s an example or two. If you fish an Old Tyre out of the water, you can sell it to Nook’s Cranny for 10 Bells. If you take the Old Tyre to a crafting station and craft a Tyre Toy item, however, it’ll be worth 20 bells. Another: you’ll get 750 bells for two Iron Nuggets. That same number of Iron Nuggets can be used to craft a Frying Pan, which sells for 1500 Bells. That’s double your money!
This is obviously a time-consuming activity. But if you’re early on in your island experience, it doesn’t hurt remotely to craft excess raw materials into items before you sell them. And remember, you probably want to keep at least a little of each back, as sometimes wood and iron, in particular, are used to gate progression where you’ll need to turn some in to open up new shops or build new infrastructure.
Getting Rich Through Bug
This past week saw the release of a new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and its an exciting one that brings quite a bit of new content to the game. Nature Day is here, Leif and Redd have been added as new NPCs, and the museum is even getting an expansion in the form of an art gallery. However, Nintendos also trying to stop the Bell economy from inflating too much.
The first form of these money-making nerfs comes with the drop in bank interest rates. As soon as you log in, youll receive a letter from the Bank of Nook informing you that interest rates have decreased, which means that youll receive a lot less money for leaving money in the ABD.
Even further than that, though, it looks like making money through selling bugs will also become much harder. Dataminers have dug into the update and game code and it looks like spawn rates for valuable bugs like the peacock butterfly, scorpion, and tarantula have all been nerfed. Whereas previously certain bugs had higher spawn rates in specific months or times of day, now all bugs have fixed spawn rates, making it harder to farm the valuable ones for money.
so, how about the insect nerfs in #ACNH 1.2first, spawn rates have been unified for all insectse.g. agrias butterfly used to be less common in April than in its other available months. wharf roach had a higher rate in March.thats all gone now#ACdatamining#ACspoilers
