How To Get Wood Eggs For Animal Crossing Bunny Day
Naturally, Wood Eggs can be found in trees â unlike the Leaf Eggs that are hanging on trees. Just like Light or Dark Wood, to get a Wood Egg, you have to whack any tree with either a Stone Axe or a sharper Axe. The former wonât damage a tree at all, but the latter will cut it down after a few strokes, leaving it as a mere stump.
Either way, simply hit any tree on your island with an axe of some kind, and you should find Wood Eggs sooner or later. Youâre better off using a Stone Axe, however, because otherwise you might just destroy all of your trees.
What Are All The Species In Animal Crossing

It is not a term directly used in-game, though it is referenced by several characters throughout the franchise.
How To Get The Vaulting Pole To Cross Rivers
Once everything is all set with your tent in Animal Crossing, players are pretty much given free rein to do anything and everything on the peaceful resort.
In true Animal Crossing fashion, the first thing many players will do is catch fish or bugs, since the island is absolutely covered with these types of critters.
At first, the island doesnt have a museum to display the creatures you catch, so youll have to instead take them to Tom Nook. Once you give him five fish or bugs, hell contact Blathers and give you the option to place a spot for his museum down on the island.
Once you do this, youll have to wait a day for Blathers to actually show up, but when he does, youre in business.
All youll have to do is head over to his tent, talk to him, and hell talk a bit about how he thinks fossils are found on the other side of the river. Of course, you cant actually get over there just yet, but he has a remedy for that.
He will give you the vaulting pole, which is then used to reach areas that were unreachable in the past.
Once you get your hands on this pole, things really start to open up in the world of Animal Crossing and you really start to see what the game can offer.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

How To Cross The River In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
One of the most major changes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the revelation that players could use a vaulting pole to get across a river, without the use of a bridge.
This would obviously be a major quality of life upgrade as itd cut down on a lot of idle times as players traverse through various parts of the island.
While it was shown off in some of the promotional material leading up to the release, river vaulting is not actually available from the beginning in Animal Crossing.
Instead, players will have to complete a variety of objectives to complete first before they can experience this wonderful new feature.
Planning: Set Your Horse Up For Success
An important first step is to set-up suitable water challenges. One option is to build a water obstacle, but because it bears little resemblance to a moving stream, youll also need access to natural bodies of water. Training involves introducing the horse to the water, and the starting point will depend on the water feature, the horses distance from it, and how distracting the environment is to the horse.
If you start training your horse now at the canal, make sure shes relaxed when the canal is dry, find out how close she can get before showing signs of tension, and train at a quiet time of day with no vehicles, riders, or other distractions make her anxious.
Fear is the most likely underlying reason why horses wont cross water, so use training exercises designed to reduce that fear. Train below threshold , avoid situations that are too challenging, and gauge the horses level of anxiety and distress by closely observing her body language. The sweet spot for training is when the horse is both calm and paying attention to the water obstaclein other words, attention without tension.

What Can You Do While Swimming In Animal Crossing
You can catch sea creatures! While swimming about, keep an eye out for bubbles in the water and if you spot one, hit Y to dive and when you emerge, you should have something like a sea anemone to show off!
Alternatively, look for shadows after you dive, the camera view will change when you are under, and if you see one, swim towards it and whatever it is will then be yours!
Thats not all, either. Keep an eye out for a washed-up Gullivarrr , who will ask you to dive for his lost phone. Once youve found it by checking out bubble spots, hell be on his merry way though not without sending you some pretty cool pirate swag for helping him out.
How To Get Leaf Eggs For Animal Crossing Bunny Day
During Bunny Day, Leaf Eggs grow on trees, essentially replacing the fruit or money bags that will appear if you do the Money Tree trick . But if your trees are full of something, they wonât be able to sprout eggs!
The best thing you can do is ensure that you shake and clear off all of your trees every day during Bunny Day so thereâs room for Leaf Eggs to appear. Then, simply shake the tree and theyâll fall to the ground. But be sure to watch out for Wasps, because theyâll randomly attack and sting you in the face if you donât!

How To Get Earth Eggs For Animal Crossing Bunny Day 2021
Poor old Blathers the museum bird. Normally, whenever you see a star-shaped divot in the ground, that means thereâs some kind of fossil you can dig up and then present to Blathers, the curator of your islandâs museum. Itâs one of the earliest tasks that the game teaches you.
As part of Bunny Day, many of these holes in the ground now house Earth Eggs. Traditionally, either four or five of these holes will spawn in a random location on your island each day. And the timing is a bit unpredictable as well. The best thing you can do is dash around your island at least once per day looking for all of the current fossil holes so you can dig them up.
Tips For The Best Hot Cross Buns
CHECK YOUR YEAST expiry date! The #1 problem because most people dont bake with yeast very often, and yeast does go off! If your yeast is past its expiry date OR youve kept it in hot humid conditions , your dough will not rise.
Yeast test if youre concerned: in tiny bowl, mix 2 tbsp very warm tap water with pinch of sugar and 1/4 tsp yeast. Leave in very warm place for 5 10 min. If surface gets foamy like the below, your yeast is alive and fine to use.

How To Get A Wetsuit For Swimming
- Requires: 3,000 bells
If you want to swim in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the first thing you need to do is buy a wetsuit. To buy a wetsuit, head over to Nook’s Cranny. The wetsuit will be available to purchase in the cabinet where you usually buy tools, seeds, and wallpaper/flooring.
The wetsuit costs 3,000 bells. You can also purchase a wetsuit from your Nook Stop terminal for 3,000 bells. They come in new designs daily, so you can keep checking back if you don’t like what you end up with. Your Nook Stop also offers a Nook Inc. wetsuit for 800 miles.
To equip the wetsuit, just select it in your inventory, press A, and select “Wear.” The wetsuit will be equipped directly over your clothes, so you don’t need to manually remove shirts or bottoms in order to wear it. Once you’ve got into your first full day on the island, Tom Nook will ask you to go and see him at the Residents’ Services tent, where he’ll offer to run you through the DIY workshop. It’s then that you’ll get the recipes for a flimsy net and flimsy fishing rod. Once you’ve crafted them, he’ll tell you that he’d “love to see anything you catch. How To Cross A River Using A Vaulting Pole In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
When you first arrive on your island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll find your exploration cut short by the fact that you’re unable to cross any of the rivers. If you want to fully explore your island, you’ll need to craft a Vaulting Pole.
You can do this as soon as the second day, by donating five different insect or fish species to Tom Nook within resident services.
Once Blathers has arrived in his makeshift museum – this will happen the next day – pay a visit and he will give you the DIY recipe for the Vaulting Pole.
To craft it, you need:
- 5x Softwood
To use the Vaulting Pole, select it from your inventory and then press A at the edge of the river, springing you across.
Remember it will only work on a ‘standard’ river width – so if the pole doesn’t work, it’s possible you are at a wider section, so head further along to give it a go.
Go Speak To Blathers In His Tent
When the next day eventually rolls around, make sure to make a beeline for Blathers. He’ll be in his tent, and it’ll quickly emerge that he needs your help to gather enough exhibits to secure permission to open the museum. He needs more bugs, more fish and some fossils in order to get permission. But, it turns out the fossils he thinks exist on your island lie across the river.;
Thankfully, he recognises that anywhere over the river is currently a no-go zone, and quickly transfers recipes for the vaulting pole, and the flimsy Animal Crossing: New Horizons shovel, to your NookPhone. Hurrah!
All that’s left to do then is go and craft your vault pole and shovel. You’ll need five pieces of softwood in order to craft it, so go hit some trees with your flimsy axe if you haven’t got enough.

How To Crossbreed Flowers
When starting the game, players will have a native flower on their island. The native flower will either be lilies, roses, windflowers, pansies, mums, hyacinths, tulips, or cosmos. In order to breed hybrid flowers, players will need to have at least the three basic colors for each flower. The basic colors will vary depending on the flower.
Finding the basic colors for native flowers is easy, as they can be found in Nooks Cranny. As the shop upgrades, a few more flowers will be added up to the three basic colors of three different flowers. You can also find flowers and hybrids on Mystery Island tours and with friends. When Leif comes to visit, you can even purchase the basic colors of different flowers from him.
Placement of the flowers is extremely important. For hybrid flowers to grow, players will need to plant flowers in a diagonal pattern, leaving one square of space between each flower in its row and column. This will leave flowers in a bit of a checkerboard pattern and will help leave space for new flowers to grow. In previous renditions of the game, flowers would only pollinate flowers that were in the same 3×3 grid. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, this grid has been upgraded to 5×5. When planting flowers diagonally from one another, this leaves a minimum of four open spots for hybrids to have a chance to grow.
