All Hairstyles And Colors
When everything is unlocked, there are 36 hairstyles and 16 hair colors to choose from. Something that I love is that you aren’t forced to choose from male or female options. You just get to choose whatever look you like best. Here are all the different hairstyles found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Crop The Image Into Smaller Square Pieces
Use an image editor to break up the image into even squares. Most photo editors will have a square cropping tool you can use, or you can paste and crop images into squares manually.
For the artwork at the top of this guide, we used large image that we were able to crop into 300-by-300 pixel squares. If the squares are too small, the detail wont transfer well. Heres an example of one of the four images we uploaded for the patterns at the top of this guide:
Save all of the pieces as separate files.
Arrange The Pieces In Your House
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, face your houses wall and open the Custom Patterns menu from your Nook Phone. Select each pattern, choose place on wall, and select canvas. Theyll likely be positioned all over the place.
Close out that window and press down on your D-pad to enter the advanced furnishing mode. Press the Plus button to switch focus from the floors to your walls. Then press and hold A to drag your canvases to where they should go.
Note that placing patterns on the floor, side-by-side, will connect them seamlessly. But placing the patterns on your walls as a canvas will add spaces between the patterns. If youre splicing up a persons face or something with a lot of detail, it might look a little funky when you put it on the walls.
You can do this for just about every image, making them as big as you want them to be, provided that theyll fit in your homes or outside on the floor. You can even make a three-by-three portrait of Ron Weasley eating chicken.

How To Unlock New Hairstyles And Colors
When you first start the game, you’re given eight hairstyles and eight hair colors to choose from. In order to unlock additional looks, you’re going to need to earn some Nook Miles and unlock Nook Miles+ as well.
You can earn Nook Miles easily enough by completing tasks like catching fish, collecting a bunch of wood, or selling several items. If you need more Nook Miles and aren’t sure what to do, open up your NookPhone and see what tasks you can work on. To unlock Nook Miles+ players must pay off their tent loan and have upgraded to a house. Tom Nook will then tell you about the Nook Miles+ program once you’ve done that.
Once you’ve saved up some Nook Miles and unlocked the Nook Miles+ program, you can head to the green Nook Stop kiosk in the bottom right corner of Resident Services. Then select Redeem Nook Miles. There are four different hair-related packs which you can purchase with Nook Miles:
- Top 8 Pop Hairstyles 2,400 Nook Miles
- Top 8 Cool Hairstyles 2,400 Nook Miles
- Top 8 Stylish Hair Colors 3,000 Nook Miles
- Top 6 Stylish Hairstyles 1,800 Nook Miles
So, to unlock all of the available hairstyles and colors, you’ll need to save up 9,600 Nook Miles total.

I am completely addicted and I love the characters, tools, and social interaction on the Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing New Horizons version.
My passion for the game inspired me to create Animal Crossing doodles in my bullet journal. I mean, who doesnt want to add Tom Nook to their bujo?
A bit of research showed, Im not the only one wanting to learn how to draw Animal Crossing characters.
So Ive rounded up some cute and easy to draw Animal Crossing doodle videos that I wanted to share with you.

How To Change Your Look
Animal Crossing isn’t the most forthright in telling you how to change the look of your character. In order to try out something new, you’ll first need to acquire a mirror. Fortunately, one should become craftable pretty early on. Just keep visiting your villages and you might find them crafting and get them to share a DIY recipe with you. You should also look out for bottles washed up on your beach and balloons floating overhead. You might also find a mirror for sale at Nook’s Cranny.
Once you’ve built a mirror, place it somewhere in or around your home. Then, simply go up to it and press A. You’ll be taken to the character customization menu, which allows you to change your eyes, mouth, nose, skin color, hair color, and hairstyle. You’ll find that the mirror gives you six additional hairstyles in addition to the eight you got to choose from at the start of the game.

Hello, well I am making this post to help with the Fakellager Challenge because I think some are having trouble creating their Fakellager for the challenge, so here are some steps if you need help. If you haven’t heard of the challenge and want to want to Enter so you may see the details of the challenge.
1.Creating and designing your Fakellager
First of all we need to think about animals, because its ANIMALS that are the characters so lets just think about your fave animal or an animal you admire. This animal will be your Fakellager for the challenge. So just pick an animal you like remmember having fun is importsnt to make a good job with your Fakellager.
2.Animal Crossing Style
Now that we have your animal picked out we have to maje it Animal Crossing style, so just look up a character that is the same animal as your fakellager and imagine your picked animal in that style with a minor detail after this you can start drawing your fakellager without clothes.

This is the easy part because almost everything in this part has to fit with its personality just imagine meating your Fakellager in New Leaf and speaking with it, which personality and form-like if it wears a food dress and its pink the initial phrase could be “Cupcake” or “Sugar” and if its a polite Fakellager maybe its Catchphrase is”Being nice is the best way”, so from here you just need its personality and drawing.
