Currency For The Stalk Market
Turnips are the currency used in the games version of the real-life stock market, which they call the Stalk Market.
Turnips go on sale every Sunday morning, and are sold by the turnip lady, Daisy Mae.
You can sell Turnips at Nooks Cranny from Monday to Saturday. If youre willing to wait for a good sell price, you can buy low and sell high for a big profit!

This method requires Time Travelling, but is an efficient way of earning bells through Turnip Trading.
One player time travels to a day when Turnip prices are high, while the other time travels to Sunday when Turnip prices are low.
Both players will alternate visiting each others islands to maximize the profits from selling Turnips!
The other islands clock doesnt affect your Turnips
Even if the in-game clock is different on the Switch of the island you visit, it wont cause your Turnips to rot.
The state of your Turnips is based on your own islands clock, so even if you or the other player have Time Traveled before, you can travel to any players island without fear.

How To Add Friends On Your Nintendo Switch
If you want your Switch experience to be a social one, you need to add some pals to play with. Hereâs how.
Playing games with others can inject more joy into your gaming experience. At the very least, it can revive your passion for games that youâve archived or havenât played in a while.
Nintendo Switch games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Mario Maker 2 can be much more enjoyable when playing with friends. However, some game companies make a common mistake with buddying up, making it difficult to add friends to your console.
Hereâs how to add friends on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite using the painful Friend Code system.
Gulliver Is A Victim Of Alien Abductions

Gulliver the seagull will occasionally wash ashore on players islands after falling off his ship at sea, or so he says. When talking to Gulliver, players will hear a wordy and sometimes far-fetched telling of his incident at sea. Its then the players duty to dig up the five missing parts of Gullivers communicator that are buried somewhere along the islands beaches.
But looking deeper into Gullivers past, and his dialogue in New Horizons, fans have noticed Gulliver may not be falling overboard but is the victim of repeated alien abductions. Gulliver was first introduced as a sailor in the first Animal Crossing game, Animal Crossing. However, in the two later games, Wild World and City Folk, Gulliver is an astronaut that pilots a UFO. Yet, in New Horizons, Gulliver is back out at sea. When he wakes up on the shore, Gulliver cant really remember where he is or what happened to him. Moreover, some fans encounter dialogue in the game where Gulliver briefly mentions not wanting to go back to space before he stops himself mid-sentence.

If you talk to Reese at ReTail, she will tell you the current turnip prices for the day.
Jessica Marello, Fair Use: Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Every Sunday morning between 6 AM and 12 PM, Joan the boar sells turnips while walking around town. Monday to Saturday, you can sell the turnips back at ReTail, but the price fluctuates daily. The prices may follow a pattern, or they may not. Any turnips bought on Sunday will expire the following Sunday. Joan generally asks for 90 to 110 Bells per turnip.
Turnip prices change two times a daythey are one price when ReTail opens, and change again at 12 PM. Talk to Reese to ask about the turnip prices. If prices are low in your town, they may be high in a friends town. There are four different Stalk Market patternsdecreasing, big spike, small spike, and random pricebut no guarantees that you wont lose Bells.

Clowns Haunt The Villagers At Night
Nate is moving in. but also wtf? night clown? what is going onnn #AnimalCrossing#ACNH#NintendoSwitch
and Peggy
When the player persuades a villager staying at their campsite to move onto their island in New Horizons, they may be caught off guard by an ominous comment. Once the villager accepts the players request to move, a current island villager will then move away. Occasionally, the campsite villager will say the other villager was already planning to leave due to the night clowns. Some fans believe this is referring to Wisp, the friendly ghost who occasionally appears on islands at night. However, Wisp is clearly a ghost, not a clown. Furthermore, on the nights Wisp does appear on a players island, villagers will note a presence to the player rather than a night clown.
But the player never comes into contact with these so-called night clowns, nor do villagers ever elaborate on it. In fact, theres no evidence of them on the island from the players perspective whatsoever. This leads fans to believe these night clowns are somehow only visible to animal villagers or that theyre specifically choosing to haunt them instead of the player. Either way, well never really know what those villagers are seeing at night.

Invite New Villagers To Your Island

There are hundreds of potential villagers all with their own personalities and unique designs who can move to your island, but your little swatch of land can only accommodate 9 at a time. As you build on the barren island of the beginning of the game, hand-picking your cohabitants adds richness to your personal utopia.
To attract the first three townspeople, just buy Nook Miles Tickets to other islands from the Nook Stop machine in Resident Services. The first three islands you visit will feature a character excited to join your community. But once youve welcomed the first three newbies, Tom Nook will ask you to build a campsite, where tourists will stay for one day at a time. Invite campers, and theyll also move to your island.
As a bonus, you can buy collectible Amiibo figurines or cards of your favorite Nintendo characters online, and they allow you to invite unique villagers with special attributes to your island. As those who have used Amiibo in other Nintendo games know, theyre not essential for the core game, but they add small elements to further personalize your experience, and sometimes even cross over characters between Nintendo properties.
Finally, befriend those villagers by talking to them every day, giving them gifts and sending them cards in the mail . Not only do you earn Nook Miles by befriending villagers, but your new friends will also begin to give you more gifts, like clothes and medicine.
