Money Does Grow On Trees
As does furniture, apparently. It may be a bit time consuming, but every day it’s worth going on a tour of your town shaking each and every single tree ,as often, a bag of 100 Bell coins will magically float to the ground. Each day, you’ll be able to get a total of 2,000 Bells from your trees, as well as two pieces of furniture which you can then flog to Re-Tail, the second hand shop, for more money. Occasionally, your tree shakes may also make a spider or bagworm drop down, which you can catch in your net and sell on for 300 Bells each.
Shaking trees is not without it’s perils though, as some have beehives hiding in their branches and disturbing them will send a swarm of angry bees flying after you. If you don’t duck into a building in time, the bees will chase you down and sting you, leaving you with a swollen eye that doesn’t really do much except alarm your townsfolk when you first chat to them. Quickly pressing the start button and choosing ‘Save and continue’ will also miraculously scare off the angry bees too, avoiding the swollen face to boot. Another way to tackle the bee problem is to leg it a fair distance away, pull out your net and swipe at the swarm to nab yourself a bee – the timing is a bit difficult, but it’s well worth trying as Reese will buy bees for a whopping 2,500 Bells a pop. Don’t forget to pocket the beehives they leave behind too, as they go for 500 Bells as well.

Tips From An Eccentric Millionaire
It may look cutesy and inoffensive from the outside, but when you delve beneath the surface, the world of Animal Crossing actually revolves around cold, hard cash . Much like your average University course, Nintendo’s perpetual debt simulator bridles you with an ever-increasing loan from the day you move into town, and with everything from a massive flat screen TV to a bed in the shape of a pineapple staring at you from the shelves of the general store, only to be gone forever if you don’t buy it now, you’ll be quickly find yourself haemorrhaging Bells no matter how well you budget. And that’s before we even get to the murky world of Tom Nook’s house extensions, which simply give you more space to fill with more stuff, bought from the shop run by his two sons. Their Mafia-like grip on the town’s apple-based economy is astounding…

Activate The Bell Boom Ordinance
The Bell Boom ordinance improves the economy of your town. Whilst this means stuff you sell earns more bells it also means stuff you buy costs more so consider your buying/selling ratio before enacting it. Obviously, as this trick is all about selling things from the island, it makes sense to have a 20% boost in purchase prices.
Before you can change ordinances youll need to get your approval rating up to 100%. You can sit in the mayors chair at the back of the town hall at any time and Isabelle will let you know your current rating. You can raise your rating by selling things at the recycle shop, pulling up weeds, playing each day, donating to the museum and so on basically just play the game. Once your approval rating is 100% youll be able to change ordinances for your town. It costs 20,000 bells a pop but its worth it. To change your ordinance to the Bell Boom ordinance just do the following:

Are Dandelions Weeds In Animal Crossing
Dandelion. Dandelions are weeds that act as flowers in the game and appear randomly in the players town after March. Dandelions are considered flowers in the game and do not affect the towns environment and will grow even when the Keep Town Beautiful ordinance is up in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Your Town Layout Isn’t That Important
When starting the game, you’ll be asked to pick your town layout from some mapped options. The thing is, this layout doesn’t have a huge affect on your experience. They all have the standard beaches, rivers, and trees.
On the other hand, having the bridge located more towards the center of your town could prove to be useful as it’s easier to reach things without having to traverse through your entire town, with butterflies being the prime example. Ultimately, just pick a layout that looks interesting to you. What you do in town is more important than how it’s designed.

Quick Method For Infinite Bells
You need two players both with Animal Crossing, one has to have a really strong price for turnips like 500 bells in their game and the other time travels to sunday morning. Now simply buy in the town that’s on sunday and go and visit the friend’s town and sell there and repeat with new money that you just got from the selling the turnips at like 5 times their normal value and you have a quick method of making huge amounts of bell. Have fun being a bellionaire.
WARNING: Time Travel may lead to lost neighbors and an abundance of weeds that will overtake your town. They are NOT easy to get rid of. It can also take the fun out of the game, but that’s up to the player.
- See the Time Traveling Guide for a complete guide to changing your date and time for fun and profit.

Dive For Treasure: Pearls And Sea Creatures
Ever since the first Animal Crossing, weve been stuck on shore, running back and forth, hoping a fishs shadow would show up. Now, thanks to the summer swimming update, you can leave the shore behind and go diving after sea creatures. How the tables have turned, little fishies.
These creatures vary in sale value in Nooks Cranny, but even the least valuable creature is worth slightly more than a sea bass, which gives you good odds of making a solid profit compared to fishing. The only negative is that you cant sell them to C.J. for more bells, as well discuss below. Still, it adds some satisfying variety from the status quo of non-stop fishing, which will make it less like work as you build your fortune.
Best of all, occasionally bubbles in the water will draw you to a valuable pearl instead of a creature. These net you 10,000 bells each if sold, or can be used to make the mermaid DIY set before being sold for slightly more money.

The Kapp’n’s Song Skip

If it’s say, your third or fourth time hearing the tune, you might be a little tired of it by now. Simply tap A or B, and you’ll skip Kapp’n’s song, and go straight to the island destination.
Can You Play Animal Crossing Wild Word In City Folk
But more interestingly, if you have Animal Crossing: Wild Word for the Nintendo DS, you can actually import your character and play as him or her in City Folk! And better yet, the items you added to your catalog in Wild World will also be carried over to City Folk, where they can be purchased from Tom Nook at rock-bottom prices!
Sell the fish you catch. For 3 minutes, check the beach again for shells. Sell all of the shells you collect. For 10 minutes, shake fruit, regular and pine trees for money. Sell any items you get, and if you get money, add it to your inventory. If you get stung by a bee, dont heal it with medicine, as the next time you go on, it will be gone.

Find The Rewarding Rock
Whatever your layout, there are five rocks on each island. Every day four of these will provide stone, clay or iron nuggets and the other will give you bells. Learning how to hit the rock the maximum number of times in a row will yield 20,000 bells.
The key is to hit the rock eight times in a row, without stopping. Often the game scuppers you by throwing you backward. The key to avoiding this is to dig holes behind you to keep yourself in place.

Dont Use The Drop Box Unless Absolutely Necessary
Animal Crossing is a series that progresses in real-time, meaning that when its dark outside in the real world, nighttime will also appear in your game. Right outside Nooks Cranny you can find a drop box that lets you sell wares even after the shop closes at 10 p.m. But its best not to use it at all. If youre someone who can only play at night, this is a handy feature, but every time you use it theres a handling fee: Items are bought at 80 percent of their normal trade-in value and you only receive payment the next day. This means you would get significantly less money than selling during open store hours. If youre inventory is full, you can just use your house storage to keep excess materials there that can be sold the following day.

How To Get Your Island To Five Stars
Follow Isabelle’s advice for improving your island. She might tell you to add more furnishings, plants, or bridges to keep your residents happy. Every time you add something new, talk to her again for the next suggestion. There’s no set number of each item you need to achieve five stars, but every square on the map must have at least one decoration. Your rating will increase as soon as you meet the requirements you don’t have to wait for the next day.
Once you obtain five stars, a Lily of the Valley flower will occasionally appear on your cliffsides.
