Sell Hot Items To Nook’s Cranny At High Prices
Certain Items sell at double the normal price each day. The Hot Items change each day, and can be crafted. Crafting Hot Items and selling them in Nook’s Cranny is a reliable way to make Bells each day.

Buy and Sell Bell Vouchers
Redeem Bell Vouchers from the Nook Stop Terminal, then sell them at Nook’s Cranny for 3000 Bells each.
This is a very poor use of your Nook Miles though and we don’t recommend this method. Focus on gathering extra materials at Mystery Islands or looking for Tarantula Islands instead!
Import Foreign Fruit To Sell It
As we hinted at further up the page, a staple of any Animal Crossing economy is the collection and sale of fruit. Fruit will sprout on trees around your island pretty much daily, and if you shake the trees or hit them with an axe you’ll they’ll fall to be collected. You can then sell these fruit to Timmy and Tommy for a profit. Simple, right?
Well, it’s not that simple. For one, every island has a ‘native’ type of fruit. This is the fruit found on your island naturally when you first fly in. This can be sold, but since they’re in abundance they’re not that valuable. You’ll get far more bells for foreign fruit imported from elsewhere. The easy way to get foreign fruit is to visit another island – either through a Nook Miles ticket, which gives you a random chance to visit a foreign fruit paradise, or through multiplayer, where you can coordinate with a friend who has differing fruit.
Once you have a foreign fruit, you can bring it back to your island to sell. Better yet, you can plant it on your island. This means in a few days a tree will sprout that will yield that fruit – providing long-term gains. I dedicated one whole corner of my island to turn it into a foreign fruit paradise, which in turn earned me many bells.
Dive For Sea Creatures
Weve discussed fish and bugs, but theres another type of critter thatll fetch you lots of Bells in Animal Crossing- sea creatures!
Grab a wetsuit from Nook Shopping or Nooks Cranny , put it on and head into the ocean to go swimming. Look around for streams of bubbles and dive down to get them- youll find sea creatures waiting for you!
Just like bugs and fish, the different creatures available change month to month- and some are only available at certain times of day. Also like bugs and fish, the first one you collect of each creature should go to the museum- but after all, theyre all profit!
Sea creatures are really easy to collect quickly, and cost-efficient since they dont require a special tool to catch them like the nets and fishing rods for bugs and fish. They do require the one-time purchase of a wet suit, but after that you can dive to your hearts content.
Sea creatures do NOT sell for extra money to Flick or C.J., so your best bet is to sell them at Nooks Cranny. Diving for sea creatures for a little bit of time each day can net you thousands of Bells!
Bonus: While diving for critters, you may pick up a Scallop. If you do, once a day youll be greeted by Pascal, the wise otter who will trade you a Pearl or a Mermaid DIY for that scallop and leave you some wisdom before he goes!
What are some of the ways that youve made Bells playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Did any of these tips surprise you?
How To Make Millions With Animal Crossing Money Trees
Money trees are always good for a little extra cash. As your island continues to grow though, your ambitions become bigger like terraforming your entire village and youll need every last bell in the bank.
The problem is, money trees have a risk factor to them. Planting 10k bells is the safest choice, because you will always get 30k in return. Some Animal Crossing fans live on the braver side, though, burying up to 99k. They often lose their bells.
There is a solution though time travel. Mucking around with your Switchs date settings is a surefire way to guarantee your 99k bells get turned into 297k:
- Find a rare glowing dig spot for your money tree.
- Bury 99,000 bells, and confirm a sapling has sprouted.
- Go to the home screen and close Animal Crossing.
- Head over to System Settings and select date and time. Turn off the synchronize clock via the internet option here.
- Set your time and date to 40 years in the future, e.g. If you are doing this on May 13, 2021, make sure you go to May 13, 2061.
- Open Animal Crossing back up and check your tree. It should have a guaranteed 297,000 bells waiting for you!
If youre going to avoid the time travel glitches, we recommend only planting 10k for each of the money trees you uncover. Its the safest way to avoid losing cash, and 20k profit for just finding a rare digging patch aint bad either!
Sell Fossils After Assessing Them
Fossils sell for a good price at Nook’s Cranny, but only if you have it assessed by Blathers at the Museum. There’s a total of 4 to 5 fossils a day. Get more fossils by visiting certain Mystery Islands!
Look for T-Rex Fossils
The T-Rex fossils are among the most profitable, selling between 5000 to 6000 Bells a piece depending on the part.
T-Rex fossils aren’t the only fossils that sell for a good price though! Check out our guide below to learn more.

Money Does Grow On Trees
If you happen to come across a glimmering spot of ground while running around town, you can use your shovel to dig in that spot and find 1,000 Bells. While you can just pocket the money, you can also get way more if you’re patient.
Select the bag of Bells from your inventory and choose to bury it back into the ground. Note, that you can bury up to 10,000 Bells in one of these unique holes. Upon burying the bag, a sapling will appear. Leave the sapling alone for several days.
Eventually, it will grow into a tree and drop three Bell bags. Note that a new money tree glimmer spot appears on your island every day. You can have multiple money trees growing at one time, so you’ll definitely want to be on the lookout for these shining spots.
Elden Ring Gameplay Shows Fromsoft’s Move Into Open Worlds
Gothic architecture and legendary creatures provide familiar lynchpins for Elden Ring gameplay.
One of the biggest additions in Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update is the ability to get crops and grow them to craft a variety of food recipes. It isnt exactly clear how to get started, however, so weve put together a quick guide on how to get crops in Animal Crossing: New Horizons so that you can get your veg patch started swiftly.

Sell The Hot Item Of The Day
Nooks Cranny is the first shop to appear on your island. There you can sell various items to store owners Timmy and Tommy. Every day, a rotating hot item will be listed outside the shop . Whatever is listed there can be sold for double its normal asking price, so this is an easy way to make a quick buck. New Horizonss new crafting ability helps a fair bit, too: As long as you gather the needed materials and have learned the DIY recipe, you should be able to construct the hot item at a workbench. One of the most profitable hot items I saw in rotation thus far was the gong, which when doubled, netted me 10,000 bells per piece. Keeping a stock of common items like wood, iron and weeds in your houses storage can help if a hot item needs those materials to be built.
Is There A Way To Make A Million Bells Fast
You can use Time Travel to make a million bells fast and you wont have to worry about weeds or villagers leaving. Your only real consequence is sometimes having to kill a few roaches in your home. Cheat Update : As of Update 1.2.0, the interest has dropped from 0.5% to 0.0005% with a max interest of 9,999 Bells instead of the previous 99,000.
Sell Fruit And Shells
At the start of the game, the easiest way to earn Bells is to sell the native fruit that grows on your island. There are five types of fruit in New Horizons apples, pears, oranges, cherries and peaches. A single piece of native fruit sells for 100 Bells, while foreign fruit lands you a cool 500 Bells apiece. Plant plenty of non-native trees around your island, upgrade your inventory so you can pocket them all without making multiple trips to the store, and you can make a lot of money simply selling fruit .
Eventually, some of your native fruit trees will produce perfect variants, which can be identified visually through their golden sheen. Perfect variants will net you 600 Bells apiece, but its worth planting one to get a perfect fruit producing tree think of it as an investment. Finally, non-native perfect fruit from other islands will garner you a whopping 3000 Bells apiece! Youll be a Bellionaire in no time!
Shells also was up on the shore and Timmy and Tommy will buy them, too. You won’t get rich selling shells from the sea shore, but in the early game they’re a free and plentiful resource that could make the difference between being able to buy that hat or getting a cold head. We’d hoover ’em up if we were you.
Money Tree In Animal Crossing
This method is a physical representation of money that grows on trees. Players need to make a small investment, but unlike other methods, this process offers a guaranteed return.
Players need to start by digging a hole in their islands and planting 10,000 bells.
That’s about it. Players will need to check back after a couple of days and should find 30,000 bells. The best part about this method is that players can repeat this process as many times as they want.
The only condition is the investment of 10,000 bells.
Call Of Duty: Vanguard Open Beta Start
Stockpile Fish and Bugs: Some of my most reliable moneymakers in this game are things like Red Snappers, Orchid Mantises, Peacock Butterflies and even the lowly bitterling. You can sell these to Timmy and Tommy, and you can do alright. But every once in a while Flick will visit your island to buy bugs, and CJ will visit to buy fish.
If youre the patient type, stack all your high-value critters in your home storage and wait for significantly better returns on your investment. It could take a little while, but the other day I turned in a giant school of snapper for at least 600,000 bells. Just hold on, theyll be here soon. This is also a decent way of getting a model made, if youre into it.
Make a Tarantula farm: to figuring this one out. Tarantulas are one of the most valuable bugs in the game, but theyre rare and dangerous. If you want to, however, you can farm them. You need to use a Nook Miles ticket to go to a resource island at night, and then strip that thing bare. Chop all the trees, pull all the stumps, break all the rocks, pick all the flowers: clean that thing right up. What youre trying to do is create a situation with the maximum number of spawn points for ground creatures.
If everything goes according to plan, you should be swimming in terrifying arachnids. Be careful, move slow, and combine with a stockpiling strategy for mad bells.
If you dont have friends, try social media. Its a lot more competitive, but you can get through some time.
Farm Your Resources Every Day
Every single day, your very own island is brimming with resources that you can use to make some Bells. Of course, while youre establishing your island paradise youll need some of those resources for crafting- but most of those things grow back so whatever youre not going to need, you can sell.
Heres what you should be collecting to sell to Nooks Cranny every day:
Seashells: comb your beach all the way around a few times a day to collect as many shells as you can to sell
Fruit trees: Shake all your trees to gather your fruits and sell them. The fruit that is natural to your island will sell for 100 Bells a piece.
Even better? The fruits that are NOT native to your island will sell for 500 Bells each! You can get the other fruits by trading with other players OR by planting the fruits from Mystery Islands- you will come across coconuts on Mystery Islands as well as one additional type of Fruit Tree, depending on what kind grows on your island.
Pumpkins: Just like fruit trees, you can plant pumpkins and every few days youll be able to harvest them and sell them. Each pumpkin start can grow into 1-3 pumpkins- water them everyday to maximize your harvest and thus, your profits!
Wood: You can chop each tree for wood- you can chop with an Axe twice before the tree is chopped down or three times with a stone axe.

Buy Turnips And Play The Stalk Market
Every Sunday a young turnip seller called Daisy-Mae will come to your island between the hours of 5am and 12 midday selling her wares in bunches of 10. Throughout the week you are able to sell the turnips back to Timmy & Tommy and make a vast profit in the process.
However, investment doesn’t come without risk. Firstly, the buying price fluctuates daily so you’ll have to ask the raccoons and check how much they are buying for every day if you’re going to sell at the best possible time. Secondly, you only have until the next Sunday to sell the turnips before they spoil and become worthless fodder for ants and flies. If it gets to the following Saturday and the price hasn’t risen over what you paid for them, it’s best to sell and swallow the loss. Note that Timmy & Tommy do not buy turnips on a Sunday, and you can’t leave them in the drop-off box either: 9.59pm on Saturday evening is your last chance to sell them before Timmy & Tommy close up shop.
How To Earn Bells Quickly In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
If youre new to Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch, you may be wondering what in the world Nook Miles and Bells are- and how to earn them.
In the game, the first currency youre introduced to is Nook Miles- basically points you earn for completing tasks on your island, which you can use to pay off your first home loan. They also let you buy a whole host of other special upgrades later in the game, like more bag space, more reactions, and other fun additions.
While Nook Miles are kind of like redeemable points, Bells are the actual money of the game. Theyre how you pay for all those home loans and theyre what you use to buy clothing and decor. If you have a Nintendo Switch Online account and plan to trade with others, youll also want Bells for the sake of trading for rare items.
So how do you earn Bells fast? Here are some of the ways I was able to amass a 27 million Bell fortune!

Hold Off On Expanding Your House
In the early hours of the game, Tom Nook will request 5,000 Nook Miles from you to receive a tent and then 98,000 bells to convert it into a house. Once thats done, its best to hold off on expanding your home so you can save money to help finish off quests and subsequently unlock other features more quickly. Of course, this decision is entirely yours, but for those that want the entire palette of game mechanics and features, saving up early on can help make that easier.
Turnips Sold On Sunday
We were able to purchase Turnips from the store on Sunday, at a price of 95 bells . Be careful since Turnips will rot after one week, so sell them quickly!
At one time, we were able to make over 120,000 Bells. Of course, this requires an initial up front investment, but it’s definitely worth your time. More importantly, you’ll need a way to reliably determine if prices will go up or down – for that, make use of a price calculator!
