Luckily, you’ll be able to craft a shovel relatively quickly and painlessly in NH. It’s simply a matter of waiting for a day and getting Blathers to set up shop on your island, which is triggered after you’ve assembled a Flimsy Fishing Rod and a Flimsy Net. You’ll then simply need to nab five bugs or fish and bring them to Tom Nook.

Once you’ve gotten this valuable tool, you can go to work on digging up coveted goods and planting things that can pay off after playing the waiting game. Sell Fruit And Shells

At the start of the game, the easiest way to earn Bells is to sell the native fruit that grows on your island. There are five types of fruit in New Horizons; apples, pears, oranges, cherries and peaches. A single piece of native fruit sells for 100 Bells, while foreign fruit lands you a cool 500 Bells apiece. Plant plenty of non-native trees around your island, upgrade your inventory so you can pocket them all without making multiple trips to the store, and you can make a lot of money simply selling fruit .

Eventually, some of your native fruit trees will produce perfect variants, which can be identified visually through their golden sheen. Perfect variants will net you 600 Bells apiece, but its worth planting one to get a perfect fruit producing tree think of it as an investment. Finally, non-native perfect fruit from other islands will garner you a whopping 3000 Bells apiece! Youll be a Bellionaire in no time!

Shells also was up on the shore and Timmy and Tommy will buy them, too. You won’t get rich selling shells from the sea shore, but in the early game they’re a free and plentiful resource that could make the difference between being able to buy that hat or getting a cold head. We’d hoover ’em up if we were you.

    Sell Turnips At High Prices

The Stalk Market has been a mainstay in the Animal Crossing franchise since the beginning. Daisy Mae visits islands every Sunday morning until 12 p.m. with a fresh crop of turnips, which she sells at prices ranging from 90 to 110 bells per turnip. Players then have one week to sell their turnips to Timmy and Tommy, who can offer prices from 15 bells to 650 bells. The price changes twice a day. It’s a bit of a gamble, because you never know if or when you will get a decent price.

Thankfully, there are tools on the Internet to help track and predict daily turnip prices. In addition, you can check out sites like Turnip Exchange to find islands with high prices. Fill your pockets with turnips and reap the rewards.

Prioritize the Hot Item of the Day, which sells for;double;the bells. Sell Materials From Mystery Island Tours

Mystery Island Tours are procedurally generated trips to faraway islands that cost 2,000 Nook Miles to visit. From there, you can continue to do most of what you do on your own island but theres a chance of the island spawning unique fruit and materials. You can harvest pears and bamboo, for example, which can be sold back at your respective island home for a heftier price than your native fruit would. Plus, planting these fruits on your island will result in fruit trees in a few days time, so you can harvest from a bigger variety every day without spending the extra Nook Miles.

Additionally, if you bring your native islands fruit to a friends island via online play, you can sell your fruit for a better price. If your friends are generous, they may let you grab different fruit from their island too.

  • 4Talk to Kapp’n to take the boat to the island. Kapp’n will appear at the docks on the day after you talk to Tortimer. Taking the boat will cost 1,000 Bells, but the rewards on the island will far outweigh the cost.
  • 5Fish for rare fish. Some of the most valuable fish are found in the waters around Tortimer Island. In fact, so many of the fish are valuable that you’re probably better off throwing back everything that’s worth less than 1,000 bells. On Tortimer Island, the time of day does not affect which fish can appear.
  • 6Catch rare bugs. Like fishing, hunting for bugs is very lucrative on Tortimer Island. The rare olden stag bug, for example, can be sold for 12,000 Bells. you can find different bugs around the island depending on the location and the time of day.

Redeem Bell Vouchers from the Nook Stop Terminal, then sell them at Nook’s Cranny for 3000 Bells each.

This is a very poor use of your Nook Miles though and we don’t recommend this method. Focus on gathering extra materials at Mystery Islands or looking for Tarantula Islands instead!

You wont know what youre fishing for until you reel it in. Its probably a black/sea bass, but it could be something bigger. Something better. But if youre out fishing in the hopes of reeling in something big, dont be discouraged by a swarm of bass filling your inventory. Even if a fish or bug isnt worth a fortune to the Nook twins, that doesnt mean you should just throw them back to nature. Small sales will add up over time.

If youre not having much luck finding valuable critters, you may want to change up when you do your daily hunt. Depending on the date, you may find better fish or bugs during a particular time slot. Our monthly fishing guide indicates which fish will only be found in the mornings or evenings, and you can strategize accordingly. For example, some of the most valuable fall fish snapping turtles, koi, golden trout, and barreleye can only be found after 4 p.m. or 9 p.m. during the fall in the northern hemisphere.

Also, you may want to take the time to dig up manila clams, which are buried in the beach and give away their location by squirting out water. You can craft them into fish bait, then stay in one place and bait in one fish after another. Rare fish often appear near the pier, in the river mouth that runs into the ocean, or on the clifftops, but it can be irksome running back and forth from them, waiting for a fish shadow. So bait in some rare gems all at once instead!

How To Get RICH In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing fans will know that Joan arrives now and again to sell her batch of turnips to you. In New Horizons, you will want to continue to keep an eye out Sunday mornings but instead of Joan, her granddaughter Daisy Mae takes her place. By Monday, you can sell turnips that youve bought, but be warned: there is a risk of losing significant amounts of money too. On Sundays, turnip prices dont change; Daisy Mae will have a standard fee thats between 90 to 110 bells per turnip. You can buy a batch and keep an eye on the fluctuating prices at Nooks Cranny through the week, and eventually, you may encounter a day where your turnips can be sold at a profit. Be warned, though: turnips go rotten after a week.

  • 1Avoid grinding for more bells. Animal Crossing is a game designed to be played throughout the whole year in small bursts, and you can burn yourself out if you spend too much time worrying about earning more bells. You’ll get the most out of the game if you keep coming back to it throughout the year, so don’t worry about taking it slow. As you start upgrading your tools and town buildings, you’ll find that bells start flowing in much quicker.
  • 2Hit every rock with your shovel. Every day, one of the rocks in your town will contain a gemstone, and one will contain up to 16,100 bells. When you hit the rock containing the bells, a few will pop out and you’ll be pushed back a little. You’ll need to quickly re-approach the rock and continue to hit it if you want to earn the full amount of bells.
  • An advanced technique for not getting pushed back is to dig a hole behind you first, but you’ll need to do this before you strike the rock and start the counter. This means digging a hole every time you encounter a rock. You can also plant bushes next to each rock as a more permanent blocker.
  • When you collect a gemstone, you will immediately earn between 2,000 – 4,000 gems, depending on the stone.
  • If you’re lucky, the money rock, instead of Bells, will produce seven various ores.
  • 3Shake trees. Shaking trees without fruit can result in an immediate 100 bells. You can do this on up to 20 trees without fruit. Not all trees will contain a prize.
  • Sell Turnips At The Stalk Market

Daisy Mae comes to your island every Sunday to sell Turnips, which you can sell at Nook’s Cranny. The price changes twice daily, so be sure to check in every day!
