Nintendo Introducing More Food Items In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Fireworks festival is the best event to enjoy pretty colors in the sky during the nighttime. The Fireworks Shows are held every Sunday at 7 pm during the entire month of August at the same time for both the hemispheres.
This year players can also get their hands on some brand new food items including Cotton Candy, a Popsicle, and Bubble Tea. Furthermore, Nintendo has also added a minor detail with these items. After taking three sips or bites of these items, the item in your hand will disappear, indicating that you fully consumed it.
Manually Installing The Update
You can easily download the update by following three quick steps
Step 1: After you turn on your Switch and start the game, click on the;+ icon which is available;on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons home screen.
Step 2: ;Tap Software Update.
Step3: Select Via the Internet option and the game will search for an update.
The game will now search if a new update is available. If it is, then the console will download install the same. Once the update is installed on your gaming device, you should see the latest update;version show up on the title screen.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Now Live On Nintendo Switch Patch Notes Released
Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.11.1 is now live on Nintendo Switch. As suspected, the game’s newest update is a pretty minor one, focused primarily on fixing a handful of issues players may have encountered. Fans have been eagerly awaiting some kind of substantial expansion over the last few months, but there just hasn’t been a whole lot of new things to do in the game. Fixed issues
- The following issues occurring in Ver. 1.11.0 have been fixed.
- Fixed an issue in the DIY Recipes app where sorting by order obtained would not display recipes in the correct order.
- Fixed an issue where color variations of certain items would not appear in the Photopia item catalog.
- Fixed an issue where the closing time music in Nook’s Cranny would not play as intended.
- Fixed an issue where certain seasonal clouds would not appear as intended.

The next Animal Crossing: New Horizons update will introduce food items such as bubble tea and candy floss for players to hold during fireworks displays.;
In an update posted to the Japanese Nintendo website, we can see several photos that showcase what items will be on offer in the games next update in just a few days time.;
Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will soon be able to walk around their island holding snacks and drinks such as candy floss , ice lollies, and even a cup of bubble tea. Players have longed for food items to be available to them since last summer when their islanders began walking around with glasses of juice and donuts in the hot weather.;

These new items will be available from Redds Prize Raffle; which those of you who have already experienced a summer in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will already know is exclusive to the fireworks events in the game. The counterfeit art dealer turned knick-knack salesman will add these new items to his already impressive prize pool which contains pinwheels, bubbles, uchiwa fans, and balloons.;
The new update is set to roll out on July 29, 2021, and players must upgrade to the latest version of the game if they wish to enjoy these new items. Nintendo has also promised its very patient Animal Crossing fans that more content is planned for later this year.;
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Anniversary Update Is Now Live
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons anniversary update is available now, which brings players plenty more upgrades, exclusive items, and a cake to commemorate the occasion.
Its hard to believe that players have had the joys of island living for almost a whole year now, after Animal Crossing: New Horizons was originally released March 20, 2020. To celebrate this milestone, Nook Inc have sent out a themed anniversary cake which is decorated with a number one candle, apple tree biscuits, and other iconic in-game shrubbery.;

Other upgrades that fans will be able to enjoy after downloading the 1.9.0 update include the Custom Design Pro Editor+, which gives players the option to place custom designs on new and existing items such as umbrellas, small flags, uchiwa fans, and photo stands – an item that hasnt been in the game since 2012s Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This add-on is available from the Nook Stop in Resident Services for 2,000 Nook Miles.;

Issue : Variety Is The Spice Of Life
The second point here sort of ties into the first. After you’ve hit a point, there’s nothing much to do but find busy work in New Horizons. Sure, you can fish, catch bugs, and rearrange your island, but that’s it. You can also talk to your residents, but instead of doing odd jobs for them, like in the past, it’s very rare that you get anything more than a conversation or an easy fetch quest.
These fleeting interactions were once a staple part of the Animal Crossing games. In New Horizon, however, they usually feature a ton of recycled dialogue. Also, though the villagers supposedly have “different” personality types, they all seem pretty similar. Other than their look and the tone of their voice, you really can’t tell the difference between them, except for maybe the grumpy NPCs. Speaking of NPCs, the random vendors that visit need a shake-up. We rarely see Redd, and almost always get Kicks or Leif. Or Gulliver.
Finally, those Nook Mystery Tours are a big disappointment. Sure, there’s an off-chance that you can land on a rare island, but most of them are exactly the same as your island. We usually feel as if we’ve wasted my Nook Miles points on those tickets.

Stardew Valley takes the cake here in the variety category. Each playthrough can be different, and the days pass quickly so it’s easy to get sucked in with tasks like daily maintenace on the farm. Stardew and Animal Crossing share plenty of likenesses, but Stardew takes everything a step further.

A recent lack of updates might’ve upset even the most ardent followers of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but the excitement around what could happen next is still the talk of the town in the community.

Observed Changes In Version 111 Missing From Patch Notes
In our experience, many past new updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons have tended to contain some smaller changes that werent included in the official patch notes.
These undocumented changes in the past have included new items in the Nook Stop Terminal, quality of life improvements, and other small adjustments. If anything of the sort is included in the Summer 2021 Update, well mention it in this section when we know.
Heres whats been uncovered so far:
- Oddly, brand new Halloween themed items in the Spooky Set have been introduced in this update, despite no mention from Nintendo! Learn more about the new Halloween 2021 items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with our article here.
- Unlike most other non-bug fix updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it appears that there is no free update gift item to be found in player mailboxes with this update. That follows a similar absence in the July Update.
- It appears to be possible to time travel in advance to the Fireworks Show events with any real-time date lock by Nintendo, unlike some past events like Turkey Day or Festivale.

How To Get Upcoming Food Items
In order to collect these items, you first have to purchase a ticket from Redds pop-up booth required to partake in the raffle. You can earn random rewards with these tickets and each ticket costs up to 500 bells.
Interestingly, youre guaranteed to get one of each item before Redd makes his raffle completely random. There are 12 items in total with 5 flavors of Bubble Tea, four flavors of Cotton Candy, and three of Popsicles. Therefore, it will cost you a total of 6000 Bells to obtain everything from the initial 12, and all it takes is one visit.

Although these are limited-time items, it could be possible that it becomes available with the arrival of Brewster. Several data miners have discovered Brewster and the Roost in the games files. Moreover, its said that the Roost will be a part of the museum in New Horizons, just like in many previous Animal Crossing titles.
This could also be a splendid strategy to advertise the Roost on your island and attract fellow villagers with these items. However, its only just a rumor, so take it with a pinch of salt and try to get these items in Fireworks festival only.

Details Players Need To Know About Upcoming Animal Crossing Crossovers
Sanrio villagers and their matching outfits hit Animal Crossing islands in March this year. Players have criticized the title in terms of its association with characters, so it’s safe to say that the update was a welcome change for players.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf saw a crossover with other Nintendo titles, including Legend of Zelda, Splatoon and even Monster Hunter.
Rumors suggest that characters from the aforementioned crossovers will be introduced to New Horizons sooner rather than later.
