How To Find Leaf Eggs In Animal Crossing
Look to the trees! Leaf eggs are found in trees that do not have fruit in them but keep a close eye as they dont look drastically different from the fruit that is normally in them. The eggs are mostly green so keep that in mind while hunting for them.
Once you have found them, just give the tree a shake and you will be able to pick the eggs up. Around three trees and nine leaf eggs will appear each day. But if you want more, head off on a mystery tour!

How To Find Each Kind Of Bunny Day Egg In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Bunny Day festivities in Animal Crossing: New Horizon began on March 28 and will continue through April 4, coinciding with the Easter holiday. During this week, players can purchase seasonal Bunny Day items from Nook’s Cranny, find special Bunny Day DIY recipes by shooting down balloon presents with a slingshot, talking to villagers, and looking for messages in bottles, and of course find and talk to the sometimes unsettling-looking Zipper T. Bunny. They can also hunt for Eggs, either on their island or on mystery islands accessed by purchasing Nook Miles Tickets.
The drop rate for many Egg types tends to be a little higher on Mystery Island tours, especially for Egg types that come with a limit. Players looking to complete their item sets quickly may want to consider taking a few trips to deserted islands to farm Earth, Leaf, Stone, and Wood Eggs as needed.
Each type of Egg, and where players can find them, appear below:
Most of the time, players will find Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bunny Day Eggs around their island or by taking a Mystery Island tour. However, there are a few other ways players can get the Eggs they want to craft all the limited-time items.
Another way players can get Eggs is through trading, though this option is only available on April 4, the last day of the event. Players can talk to Zipper to trade Egg types they found a lot of for ones they have the least of so they can craft all the;limited-time DIY recipes;before they are gone.

He also lets you know that you have until the actual day to collect eggs and craft all the Bunny Day furniture to receive a prize, but well get to that part later.
Occasionally, one of your villagers will grab your attention and share a Bunny Day recipe with you. The recipes can also be obtained in bottles, after digging up eggs and by shooting down balloons.
Heres a full list of every method weve found so far:
- Talking to Zipper

Animal Crossing New Horizons Bunny Day 2021
Bunny Day has officially kicked off in Animal Crossing New Horizons, and theres lots of goodies up for grabs.
Players will need to be on the lookout for Zipper T. Bunny, a new special character who will be visiting your island during the Bunny Day event.
Why Ratchet & Clank is the Most Important PS5 Game
So, why will Zipper be visiting your island? Well, its actually because he has hidden eggs all over your island. Once you collect all of the hidden eggs, you will be able to craft special Bunny Day recipes.
But what are the 6 eggs found in Animal Crossing New Horizons?
Water Egg Locations In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Water Eggs are found in the ocean or rivers, and unfortunately, they aren’t hard-boiled! For some reason, they’ll look just like a fish shadow you can catch by using your fishing rod. They’ll even swim around a bit before biting your line. Approach this one just like you would any other fishing trip on your island.

More Eggs Spawn When Visiting Islands
During the Bunny Day event, whenever you use Nook Miles Tickets to visit a random island, you’ll find that the island has a ton of eggs hiding in the trees, rocks, ground, and water. Prepare yourself mentally for this because catching fish and getting materials isn’t going to be as easy. But if you go to these islands fully intending on bringing back eggs, then you’ll be able to craft some Bunny Day recipes and sell those trinkets at the Nook’s Cranny shop.
You’ll be able to find plenty of wood eggs, water eggs, and sky eggs while on your island, but it will be harder to come across stone eggs, leaf eggs, and earth eggs. The Nook Miles Ticket islands are great places to pick up these more elusive eggs.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Where To Find Zipper T Bunny
To get started, you need to find Zipper T. Bunny somewhere around your island from onwards. He seems to appear near your house or the central plaza in the first instance, but can be scattered anywhere. Once you’ve spoken to him though, he’ll disappear until the big day.
As his name suggests, ol Zipper is a yellow rabbit with a big zip down his back – so youre not going to miss him. Especially when he’s hopping around like an aerobics instructor.
He’s become a bit of a meme in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons community, thanks to his strange manner and thousand-yard-stare.
As evidenced by the little video below, lurking beneath that peppy exterior is an eternal and unbridled sadness – just look at that world-weary sigh:
HE GOES OUT OF CHARACTER WHEN YOU LEAVE HIS LINE OF SIGHT
Speaking to him starts the Bunny Day activities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, although you might have already collected a couple of eggs on your way over.
He also gifts you a cute DIY recipe the Bunny Day Bed to kick off the fun.
You have two goals for the Bunny Day event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons:
- Find special Bunny Day-themed DIY recipes hidden around your island
- Hunt down different types of eggs to build those recipes
There are six types of Bunny Day eggs to find, and all are gathered from where youd normally collect resources .

The first seasonal event for Animal Crossing: New Horizons has officially arrived. One of these eggs is the leaf egg, and we have everything you need to know to get a leaf egg covered for you.;
How To Get Earth Eggs For Animal Crossing Bunny Day 2021
Poor old Blathers the museum bird. Normally, whenever you see a star-shaped divot in the ground, that means thereâs some kind of fossil you can dig up and then present to Blathers, the curator of your islandâs museum. Itâs one of the earliest tasks that the game teaches you.
As part of Bunny Day, many of these holes in the ground now house Earth Eggs. Traditionally, either four or five of these holes will spawn in a random location on your island each day. And the timing is a bit unpredictable as well. The best thing you can do is dash around your island at least once per day looking for all of the current fossil holes so you can dig them up.

Types Of Eggs And Where To Find Them
There are six different egg types total, and they’re each found in different locations. Here are all six along with where to find them:
|Egg||Where to find|
|Sky Egg||These will float over your island by a multicolored-striped balloon. If you suddenly hear wind, look around. A blue egg is probably flying by overhead. You should note that non-Bunny Day balloons will also be flying over your island during this time.|
|Leaf Egg||These appear on trees just like regular fruit. Run around your island and shake any trees that have green eggs in them.|
|Wood Egg||You’ll harvest these the same way you’d harvest wood. Take an ax to a tree and see if any orange eggs pop out.|
|Stone Egg||Run up to a rock and use a shovel or a hammer to pound away at it. If you’re lucky, some yellow eggs will pop out.|
|Water Egg||When you see fish shadows in rivers, ponds, and the ocean go ahead and cast your line. You might just catch a purple egg.|
|Earth Egg||If you come across cracks on the ground in your island, go ahead and dig them up with a shovel. Instead of finding fossils, you might just dig up a pink egg.|
Animal Crossing: New Horizons Egg Costumes
You can also make clothes out of the egg items if you collect enough of them! As you stuff more and more into your pockets, after a while you will think of a new recipe.
This seems to happen semi-randomly as well. For example, I unlocked the Stone Egg Costume after collecting eight of them, but didn’t get the Wood Egg Costume until I’d snagged 14.
There are three pieces of each Egg Costume:
- Egg Shell : 2 Eggs of the relevant type
- Egg Outfit : 3 Eggs of the relevant type
- Egg Shoes : 2 Eggs of the relevant type
You’ll receive recipes for all three parts at the same time. So good news: there’s no need to grind for each piece individually.
Each of the six available egg types represents a colour variant for the Egg Costume that you need to unlock and learn separately: Earth is pink, Leaf is green, Sky is blue, Stone is yellow, Water is purple, and Wood is orange.
Once you’ve unlocked the costume for every kind of Bunny Day Egg, you’ll think up another two-part DIY recipe which combines them all: the Egg Party set. Again, you’ll get both of these at the same time.
- Egg Party Hat: 2 of every Egg
- Egg Party Dress: 3 of every Egg
There are no colour variants on the Egg Party set, since it combines all six egg types found in the other sets. Dress up fancy and enjoy the bragging rights!

Leaf Egg Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Players will find that the leaf egg can be found on the hardwood trees that are on your island. These hardwood trees can also be found on the islands that you visit in the title. The leaf egg has a greenish tint that will help you distinguish it from all of the other eggs for the Bunny Day event. You can also plant more of these trees to increase the odds of having even more of these Bunny Day eggs on your island.;
There is no doubt that this item will be one of the most popular resources in the game for the next few days considering that it is likely to be removed from the game once the Bunny Day event officially ends. Players will want to make sure they stock up on as many of these eggs as they can.;
