How To Kick Villagers Off Your Island In Animal Crossing New Horizons
With this new method of kicking villagers out in Animal Crossing New Horizons, youll have to play around with your own consoles time settings to trigger the conversation that lets you get rid of the neighbor you hate.
Almost like in real life, in Animal Crossing New Horizons we will also have a series of neighbors or residents on our island that we do not like at all, and luckily we have the absolute power to be able to kick them out of our island so that new neighbors come with us. those of us who can make friends.
Until now we have been playing with a series of valid methods to drive villagers from our island in Animal Crossing New Horizons, some working better than others, but in some cases being somewhat slow to proceed.
How To Kick Out Villagers
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there are two ways to get a villager to pack their things and leave. Both involve a bit of time and effort on the player’s part, but both are equally efficient.
The first thing players can do is treat the villager like garbage. Ignore them at all costs. Don’t talk to them even when they try to chase you down. A couple of wacks to their head with a bug net will also reinforce the point. Eventually, they will feel lonely and out of place. With enough neglect, the villager in question will soon have a cloud above their head. Now is the time to finally jump into a conversation with them, where they will bring up their thoughts of leaving the island. Tell them that’s a great idea and they will finally take the hint and leave.
If players have upgraded Residential Services, which will allow them to do things like build bridges, they can go speak with the manager about the villager they don’t like. By talking to Isabelle, players can discuss any current resident. Complain about them enough and they will decide to leave the island.
Players don’t have to literally move the earth to make a difference on their islands, they can use the many craftable tools at their disposal to do that. The durability of these tools, however, can be an issue. It is in a player’s best interest to start working toward unlocking golden tools. Unfortunately, these too will break after some time, but they can be used a lot longer than regular tools.

Sending And Ignoring Letters
One method that is popular with players is using letters to explain to villagers why they need to move out. The first step would be to send mean letters to villagers. By sending mean letters, the villager gets the hint constantly from the island representative that they need to move away.
In addition to sending mean letters, players need to ignore letters coming in from that villager. This can prove to be tricky because sometimes the unwanted villager will send the player gifts. It can be hard to ignore these notes from heathen villagers, but the payoff will be well worth it in the long run.
How Do You Kick A Villager In Animal Crossing
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is full of cute little villagers who will live with you in your small town on the island. Unfortunately, you can’t always choose who to move in-maybe you need to change your pace. Fortunately, there is a way to get rid of the villagers in Animal Crossing.
Although Isabelle did have some options to report the villagers’ naughtiness, none actually translated into expulsion. If a friend teaches them a bad mantra or makes them wear ugly clothes, you can think of these choices as a reset.
How to make villagers feel neglected
One of the best ways to find out that villagers are no longer popular is to ignore them completely. Think that social alienation is extreme. Don’t talk to them, don’t complete requirements or tasks for them, don’t even ask them what they are building. Pretend that they don’t even exist while socializing with your other villagers. This can help establish negligence, which can help trigger the next phase.
After ignoring the villager for several days, you still need to observe the resident. If you see them hovering in a thought bubble above their heads, or when they come to you calling your name, you actually want to participate here because it means they have a dilemma. Of course, sometimes they will perform tasks or requests, or want to teach you a response, but the possibility of a villager showing these signs is considering moving, so there must be a participant present to consolidate the decision.

Talk To Villagers To Moving Out
This method takes longer than the method above, as you do not need to time-travel.
|If not, check all your villagers again the next day|
|4||Once you get the right villager to think about moving out, don’t stop them and encourage them to move.|
|5||The villager will be in boxes the next day, and will leave the island the day after that.|
Keep in mind that the thought bubble state lasts 3 to 5 days.
1. Find the villager who is thinking about moving
Sometimes, you can find random villagers wandering around outside deep in thought, with a thought bubble above their head.
This is often a sign that they are thinking about moving!
If you ignore it and continue to check the following days, there’s a chance the thought bubble will transfer to another random villager.
If you want to kick out a specific villager, wait until they have the thought bubble. Anyone can think about moving out, regardless of your friendship level.
2. Talk to the villager with the thought bubble
If the villager you want to leave appears with a thought bubble, talk to them to check if they want to move out.
If they do, choose the option that doesn’t stop them and encourages them to move out!
|Advice||When aiming for a villager to move out, ignore all thought bubbles from other villagers. If you accidentally talk to a different villager and they talk about moving out, the move out thought bubble will disappear and you’ll have to wait for it to come back.|
3. The villager will prepare to leave

Acnh: Time Travel And Other Tips To Make Animal Crossing Villagers Move Out
Primarily, there are two methods when it comes to making Animal Crossing villagers leave, the first of which involves time travel – setting the Nintendo Switch’s clock either ahead or behind, usually days at a time, in order to make the game progress differently. Villagers in New Horizons tend to ask to move out about once every two weeks, meaning that repeatedly moving the clock two weeks ahead at a time will eventually let players move out the villager they like the least. Alternatively, players could time travel until their desired villager is staying at the campsite. From there, they simply need to save and then convince the incoming villager to move out their unwanted neighbor. As characters select a random villager each time, however, it may take several attempts to force the correct one out.
For those players unwilling to deal with the side effects of time traveling in Animal Crossing, the second method comes in the form of just ignoring undesired villagers. Some players tend to build fences or even cliffs in order to avoid accidentally interacting with certain neighbors. It’s been speculated that villagers who are ignored are more likely to ask to move out than villagers who have a close friendship with the player. It’s possible that more methods will be discovered in the future, but for now these remain the most popular option among Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers looking to move their favorite characters onto the island.
