Plant Your Money Tree Every Day
Every single day, youll find a glowing spot on your island. Somewhere in the grass there will be a shiny light and if you use a shovel, youll dig up 1,000 Bells.
What you may not know? You can use this same spot to plant a Money Tree!
To plant a money tree, first dig up your 1,000 Bells- but do NOT fill that hole back in. While its glowing, plant some Bells and in three days, itll bloom into a Money Tree with 3 Bell Bags on it!
Now heres the cool part- you can REALLY increase your profits when you play this right. Burying 1,000 Bells nets you 3 bags of 1,000 Bells each, so a profit of 2,000 Bells. But burying 10,000 Bells nets you 3 bags of 10,000 Bells each, for a profit of 20,000 Bells PER DAY. As long as you plant your money tree every single day, you can consistently shake 30,000 Bells from your trees as they bloom each day.
Unlike fruit trees, Money Trees only grow Bells once. If you dont want a tree there, you can totally chop it down once the Bells have harvested.
Another thing to watch out for- if the randomly generated Money Tree spot is surrounded by something like flowers or decor, then when the time comes to shake the trees out the Bell Bags will despawn as they cant drop on items. If that money spot is going to be a problem, just plant the Bells in the shining hole and then use your shovel to dig it up and move it somewhere safer!
Play The Stalk Market To Make Big Gains
Once a week, every Sunday, an NPC animal, Daisy Mae, will be wandering your island. Shes taking over the role from her grandmother Joan, and Animal Crossing fans will be pleased to hear that despite the management change the Stalk Market is back in this game in much the same way. Its Animal Crossings take on the stock market, and its all about turnips. Cos of course it is.
Anyway, for the uninitiated, its pretty simple: on a Sunday you have a chance to buy Turnips from Daisy Mae at a set price. Throughout the week the price of Turnips at Nooks Cranny will vary greatly, twice a day, to the point where selling them might net you a huge profit in bells or a loss of your hard-earned money. You simply have to keep an eye on the market by checking in with Timmy and Tommy and sell at the right time.
If you dont sell your Turnips before the following Sunday, they go stale and become worthless. So its a risk-versus-reward way of making money but it can be extremely rewarding. Molly Mae will start showing up the first Sunday after youve helped to have Nooks Cranny built.
Play The Stalk Market
Animal Crossing has a stalk market thats based around turnips. Every Sunday morning, you can buy turnips from a boar named Joan. Then, throughout the week you can talk to Reese and Re-Tail and find out what your turnips are selling for. The price changes twice daily: once when Re-Tail opens for the day, and again at noon.
You must sell your turnips by the next Sunday morning, or else theyll spoil. “Buy low, sell high” is the best strategy, but that can be harder than it sounds. You can find numerous Animal Crossing stalk market guides online to help you cash in.

Harvest Tarantulas On A Nook Miles Island
If you dont suffer from arachnophobia, harvesting tarantulas is reportedly a fantastic way to build cast quantities of Bells. It involves visiting random islands using your Nook Miles and either landing randomly on the Tarantula Island template, or gaming the system and transforming any old Mystery Island to cause tarantulas to spawn in vast quantities.
Despite Nintendo changing bug spawn rates, you can head to a Nook Miles island at night and, with a little elbow grease, create a horde of the furry arachnids by ridding the island of virtually everything except a few flowers. This works thanks to the way the game generates the ecosystems of the smaller islands. Having tried ourselves we can confirm it works just fine, and after half an hours work we had an island of Tarantulas to ourselves.

Theres no limit to the amount of Bell Vouchers you can purchase in one day and youll receive the ticket immediately. This is a great option for later in the game when you need a quick lump sum of cash.

Animal Crossing: How To Get The Most Bells In One Day
Bells are arguably the most important item in Animal Crossing New Horizons, so players will want to know how to obtain the most they can per day. Bells are a staple in the Animal Crossing series, and New Horizons has a variety of old and new ways players can earn Bells each day.
Bells are the currency in Animal Crossing New Horizons, used to purchase tools, furniture, clothes, and a variety of other items in the game. Bells are also used to pay off the players debts to Tom Nook, which is essential for upgrading the players house, or to fund construction projects for the town. Thus, Bells are an extremely important item, and players are going to want to earn as many as they can per day.
One of the easiest ways to earn Bells every day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to find the money rock. Every day, one rock on the players island will grant bags of Bells once hit with a shovel. Once players find the correct rock, they should hit as fast as possible until it stops producing Bells. Players can open these bags immediately to obtain the Bells, or plant a bag to grow a Money Tree which will grow more bags of Bells for players to collect.
Finally, players can complete favors for their Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers daily. Doing so can reward a crafting recipe, furniture item, or clothing item players can either keep or sell for more Bells.

Use The Stalk Market Carefully
Animal Crossing fans will know that Joan arrives now and again to sell her batch of turnips to you. In New Horizons, you will want to continue to keep an eye out Sunday mornings but instead of Joan, her granddaughter Daisy Mae takes her place. By Monday, you can sell turnips that youve bought, but be warned: there is a risk of losing significant amounts of money too. On Sundays, turnip prices dont change Daisy Mae will have a standard fee thats between 90 to 110 bells per turnip. You can buy a batch and keep an eye on the fluctuating prices at Nooks Cranny through the week, and eventually, you may encounter a day where your turnips can be sold at a profit. Be warned, though: turnips go rotten after a week.

How To Spend Meow Coupons
There are three different ways to spend your hard-earned MEOW Coupons in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
The main use for the coupons is ordering items from a villager or special characters RV Trailer at Harveys Campground. When inside of a chracters RV Trailer, tap the Order button on the touch screen to bring up a list of items available to order. You can only order from this list using MEOW Coupons, so spend them wisely! Many of these items are only available from the RV Trailers.
A second use for spending MEOW Coupons is Harveys shop next to him at the Campground. Every day, like other shops in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Harvey will have new unique items available for purchase with MEOW Coupons. These items typically cost around five coupons each.
Converting MEOW Coupons to Bells
Another option for spending MEOW Coupons is converting them to Animal Crossing: New Leafs main Bells currency. You can do this by using the ABD at the Post Office on Main Street. The conversion rate is approximately 3,000 Bells per MEOW Coupon exchanged. This option is not available on your first day in town.
Beware here are many items exclusively obtainable through MEOW Coupons and you can only earn the coupons through a couple methods, unlike bells which are earned easily anywhere in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. For this reason, we recommend against converting to bells unless you are absolutely sure you have no remaining use for your coupons and need bells.
Raising Friendship Levels & Leveling Up
Completing requests for villagers not only awards you with Bells and crafting materials but also raises their friendship meters. If the meter is filled up, your friendship level with that villager increases and you get more Bells and crafting materials.
You also gain experience by raising friendship levels. Once you level up, youll get Bells as well as other rewards like new villagers to interact with.
If you bring a villager to a campsite and have them stay there, they can award you with more Bells when you talk to them.
Bonus tip: You get bonus crafting materials after completing a villagers final request of the day.
