Animal Crossing New Leaf Best Way To Make Bells
Although Animal Crossing: New Leaf may not be played as much as the newer installment of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, theres a great amount of nostalgia and enjoyment that New Leaf still offers. If youre trying to become a bellionaire, these are the Top 10 methods to provide a profitable and lucrative bank account.
Fill And Empty Your Pockets
The easiest way to make money is to start pocketing items. You can pluck flowers or shake trees for fruit, but the aforementioned shovel, fishing pole, net, and wetsuit are key here. Using these, you can add fossils, fish, insects, and sea creatures to your inventory.
With your pockets full, head to the Re-Tail shop in your town. Here, you can sell any item in your inventory. They offer prices different from the Nook brothers’ store, so be sure to check which outlet give you the best prices when selling your items. Check the sign out front to see what the day’s special item is: if you can sell it, you’ll earn far more Bells.
Sell Hot Items From Nooks Cranny
After youve finished building Nooks Cranny, Timmy and Tommy will inform you of a few different services they offer upon first visiting their shop. One of the new services involves a hot item of the day. The hot item will change daily, and if you bring one in to sell, theyll double the price.
The hot item of the day will be displayed daily on the sign in front of the shop or by asking Timmy and Tommy directly.
Some of these methods should be recognizable to familiar players of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons series, but even so, making Bells in this new game is time-consuming . If you want to become the next Bell-billionaire, be sure to plan your day wisely!
And Learn The Extra Pockets Trick
You can carry 16 items at a time, but with the essentials on hand, your carrying capacity is greatly reduced. Fortunately, wearing and holding some items will free up some much needed inventory space. Also, by attaching items to letters, it’s possible to hold even more, so fill your pockets with letters before you head out.
Equipping the shovel, fishing pole, or net removes the item from you inventory and puts it in your hands, freeing up an item slot. Even when you go inside a building and watch your character put the tool away, it won’t go back into your inventory . Wearing the wetsuit also removes it from your inventory. Wear it while holding a tool, and you’ll have two extra inventory slots to play with.

Sell The Hot Item Of The Day
Nooks Cranny is the first shop to appear on your island. There you can sell various items to store owners Timmy and Tommy. Every day, a rotating hot item will be listed outside the shop . Whatever is listed there can be sold for double its normal asking price, so this is an easy way to make a quick buck. New Horizonss new crafting ability helps a fair bit, too: As long as you gather the needed materials and have learned the DIY recipe, you should be able to construct the hot item at a workbench. One of the most profitable hot items I saw in rotation thus far was the gong, which when doubled, netted me 10,000 bells per piece. Keeping a stock of common items like wood, iron and weeds in your houses storage can help if a hot item needs those materials to be built.
Buy Fortune Cookies With Play Coins And Sell Your Prizes
The Nooklings Store on Main Street offers fortune cookies, most of which contain a prize ticket for a Nintendo-related item . These items are fun to collect if youre a fan of Nintendo tchotchkes, but they are also valuable, so consider selling off your Nintendo toys as you win them.
Fortune cookies are purchased with Play Coins, which you earn by walking around with your Nintendo 3DS. In other words, you can put the system into sleep mode and carry it with you while running errands to get as many Play Coins as you need.
You can also sell gifts that your animal pals give to you.

Are There Any Hackers In Animal Crossing Wild World
Although the seed threat is diminished in City Folk, there are still hackers who play the game. Most use ACToolkit to customize the town layout, inventory, etc., and on the whole this works similarly to hacking in Wild World. Hackers may give even non-hackers DLC, which can appear in shops like the Able Sisters .
1 // Go to a friends town and bring what you want to clone in your pockets. 2 // Drop what you want to clone, and then pick it back up. 3 // Have your friend save the session. Drop the same object once again. 4 // Go to the gate and ask to go home.
Enact The Bell Boom Ordinance
The best way to boost your Bell count is by enacting the Bell Bloom Ordinance. After getting your approval rating to 100% and unlock the development permit, you’ll be able to do this.
Talk to Isabelle at your desk in Town Hall. Under the Ordinances menu, choose “A rich town.” This will boost the selling price of all items at the Re-Tail Shop. Enacting this ordinance costs 20,000 Bells, but you’ll make more money in the long run.

How To Spend Meow Coupons
There are three different ways to spend your hard-earned MEOW Coupons in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
The main use for the coupons is ordering items from a villager or special characters RV Trailer at Harveys Campground. When inside of a chracters RV Trailer, tap the Order button on the touch screen to bring up a list of items available to order. You can only order from this list using MEOW Coupons, so spend them wisely! Many of these items are only available from the RV Trailers.
A second use for spending MEOW Coupons is Harveys shop next to him at the Campground. Every day, like other shops in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Harvey will have new unique items available for purchase with MEOW Coupons. These items typically cost around five coupons each.
Converting MEOW Coupons to Bells
Another option for spending MEOW Coupons is converting them to Animal Crossing: New Leafs main Bells currency. You can do this by using the ABD at the Post Office on Main Street. The conversion rate is approximately 3,000 Bells per MEOW Coupon exchanged. This option is not available on your first day in town.
Beware here are many items exclusively obtainable through MEOW Coupons and you can only earn the coupons through a couple methods, unlike bells which are earned easily anywhere in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. For this reason, we recommend against converting to bells unless you are absolutely sure you have no remaining use for your coupons and need bells.
Animal Crossing Money Making: How To Get Bells Fast In New Horizons
Below you’ll find some money making methods for New Horizons, which will make paying off your mortgage or funding that new addition to your island a lot easier.
- Purchase Bell Vouchers with your Nook Miles. For 500 Nook Miles each, one of these vouchers will give you 3000 Bells. This makes Bell Vouchers a great way to earn some quick money, especially if you’ve collected a large amount of Nook Miles.
- Play the stalk market. If you’re looking for a high risk, high reward investment, then the stalk market in New Horizons is for you. Every week Daisy Mae will visit your island to sell turnips at a price that will vary from week to week. You can then sell these turnips to the Nooklings; their prices will differ from day to day, however, so you might end up making a loss.
- Sell the ‘Hot Item’ of the day at Nook’s Cranny. Once Nook’s Cranny has opened on your island, the Nooklings will select a ‘Hot Item’ every day. If you sell this specific item to the Nooklings on this day, you’ll receive double the profit. The ‘Hot Item’ is randomly selected, so you might not always be able to take advantage of this bonus.
Hopefully these will help you build that new bridge or buy that sofa you’ve been eyeing in Nook’s Cranny a little bit faster!

Catch Fish And Bugs On The Island
Youll eventually gain the ability to travel to a tropical island off the coast of your town. The fee is 1,000 bells , but youre sure to make that up several times over with the piles of high-priced bugs and fish that you can gather while youre there. Your spoils cant leave the island in your pockets, so make sure you check it all into the basket near the exit for the boat docks. Then, throughout the week you can talk to Reese and Re-Tail and find out what your turnips are selling for. The price changes twice daily: once when Re-Tail opens for the day, and again at noon.
You must sell your turnips by the next Sunday morning, or else theyll spoil. “Buy low, sell high” is the best strategy, but that can be harder than it sounds. You can find numerous Animal Crossing stalk market guides online to help you cash in.

Everybody Needs A Hobby
This one’s probably the easiest way to make a decent living in the early days – although even then it requires a small financial investment to get you started. You’ve probably noticed your town is crawling with fish and insects from the world over, as well as having more fossilised remains than London’s Natural History Museum buried beneath the ground. After buying yourself a fishing rod/butterfly net/shovel from the Nook kids’ store, you can start pocketing the village’s wildlife, before carting them off to Re-Tail in exchange for cold, hard cash. Of course, there’s also the town’s museum to fill with fossils, insects and fish, but they’re not as needy as you, right? After all, they’re not the ones kipping in a tiny tent and not allowed to buy wallpaper.
Fossils are a little bit more complex – keep your eyes peeled for little star-shaped cracks on the ground, of which there can be up to half a dozen a day. It’s a bit of a trek, but you’ll want to cart them all over to Blathers the owl at the museum and have him assess them to tell you what each fossil is – identified fossils are worth far more than those left unidentified, which will net you a pitiful 100 Bells. To put it into perspective, your average mammoth skull is worth about 3,000 Bells, which makes the extra traipse well worth it.
