Use This Glitch To Swim In Animal Crossing New Horizons Island

YouTuber consolecaito has found a glitch, which will allow you to swim in the latest Animal Crossing game. This feature is still not a part of the game when it should have been added a long time ago. As much as the community would have loved seeing this feature added, they have to make do with this elaborate glitch. You would need two key items like the unfinished puzzle as a flat item and terraforming tools to pull this glitch off.

First up, open your island construction work with the island designer app. Head to a water body on the north section of your island and build a cliff at one side. Build two square boxes on the water bodies, and ensure you place your chosen flat item on top of it. Ensure you flatten the edge of the cliff as it plays a key role in the glitch.

Now put the item down, and dig everything around it, and ensure you fill the surrounding area with water. Head to the cliff and climb down to the small area that contains your flat item. Turn off your designer app if you wish to take pictures without the hardhat on. Climb down with the help of a ladder, and move towards the water body, and this will glitch you inside the lake.

What Does A Wet Suit Do In Animal Crossing

A wet suit in the game enables you to explore the ocean surrounding your island and find new sea creatures and treasures underwater.

Without one, you will not be able to get into the water.

I would advise always having one in your pocket, this just means you never have to worry about remembering it when visiting others, or if you just fancy a dip when walking along the beach.

How To Catch Sea Creatures

  • Requires: Wetsuit

The new swimming and diving features are all about exploring the ocean around your island, which means there are new sea creatures to catch and rare treasure to find. All you need for this is your wetsuit–no net or any other tools required!

When you’re swimming around, you might notice columns of bubbles floating up from beneath the waves. If you swim directly over the bubbles and press Y, your character will dive under and, if you positioned yourself right, come back up with a sea creature, like a sea star or a sea anemone. You can also find new types of vegetation, like seaweed.

Another way to catch sea creatures is to dive underwater and look for little shadows. When you dive, the camera will tilt and give you a better view of what’s below you. Those bubble columns and shadows line up, so an easier way to find creatures is to dive under and swim towards the shadows. Your character will automatically collect whatever’s down there once you reach the shadow.

In addition to the new sea creatures you can gather up for your Critterpedia and the museum, you will also find scallops and pearls. You can use pearls to craft certain DIY recipes, including the new mermaid-themed set. Scallops can be traded in to Pascal, a red otter who you will run into on one of your swims, for DIY recipes.

Sanrio villagers and their matching outfits hit Animal Crossing islands in March this year. Players have criticized the title in terms of its association with characters, so its safe to say that the update was a welcome change for players.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf saw a crossover with other Nintendo titles, including Legend of Zelda, Splatoon and even Monster Hunter.

Rumors suggest that characters from the aforementioned crossovers will be introduced to New Horizons sooner rather than later.

This information was introduced last year in a list of villager mottos. Several of these villager types were present in the files but had missing mottos, iterating that these belong to the ones that may come to the game in the future.

Splatoon 3 is set to roll out next year. Its possible that Nintendo might release Splatoon themed characters and items to promote their new title as well.

Several of the data mined features havent made their way to the game yet. However, their presence makes things interesting and serves as a thread that players are holding on to.
