How To Trade Villagers In Animal Crossing New Leaf

Having Your Trader Visit Your Town

Animal Crossing New Leaf: Using Villager Amiibo to Get Nintendo Items!
  • 1Give out your friend code. In order for a trade to go through, the person who is accepting your villager must visit your town. In order to do that, youll need to give them your friend code, which can be found within the 3DS home menu on your friend card.
  • 2Have your friend talk to their Porter. Your friend will then go to the train station in their town, on the north end of the map, just to the left of the exit to Main Street. Talking to Porter, the monkey, by pressing A will then allow them to choose Visit a faraway town, which is how you travel to towns over the Internet .
  • Soon, this person will arrive in your village!
  • 3Have your friend talk to the villager who is moving. Do this by pressing A while facing the villager. The villager will say something along the lines of not having a destination yet. Then, the visitor has the opportunity to invite that villager to their town through a dialogue choice.
  • Shortly, your villager will be moved out, and the visitor will be welcoming that villager into their town instead.
  • 4Do it vice versa. All of this works in reverse as well! If youre looking online and see that someone is offering a villager that you want in a deal that you find suitable, then you visit their town and talk to that villager in order to get them to move in.
  • If you have eight villagers in your town, none of which came from the campsite or campground, you cannot get any more villagers. You can only have eight villagers, except the extra two from camping.
  • Find And Grow Perfect Fruit

Perfect fruit looks especially lush and tantalizing, and one piece is worth 600 bells. You can plant perfect fruit to grow a tree full of perfect fruit, but perfect fruit trees are fragile, and they need to be re-planted after theyve been harvested. You can take home a non-local piece of perfect fruit from a friends town and sell it for 3,000 bells, but you unfortunately cant grow non-local perfect fruit trees.

    Play The Stalk Market

Animal Crossing has a stalk market thats based around turnips. Every Sunday morning, you can buy turnips from a boar named Joan. Then, throughout the week you can talk to Reese and Re-Tail and find out what your turnips are selling for. The price changes twice daily: once when Re-Tail opens for the day, and again at noon.

You must sell your turnips by the next Sunday morning, or else theyll spoil. “Buy low, sell high” is the best strategy, but that can be harder than it sounds. You can find numerous Animal Crossing stalk market guides online to help you cash in.

Wait For Someone To Say They’re Moving Out

There comes a time in every villager’s life where they might feel the need to move on from your fair isles and explore somewhere new. Hopefully it’s that annoying one that you’ve come to detest even the mere sight of, but sometimes it’s just a cute one that wants a change in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

They’ll let you know they want to leave. You can either try and persuade them to stay, or let them go. The next day, they’ll be in their homes packing up their stuff into cardboard boxes. And it’s then that the trading option becomes available.

Bunny Day: A Sunday In March/april

How to Trade Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Leaf: 11 Steps

Some Animal Crossing: New Horizons players found Bunny Day more than a little obnoxious outstaying its welcome and clogging up the skies, rivers, and fossil spots with different colored eggs. Mercifully, New Leaf kept the festivities to one particular day .

The holiday was much the same as in the Nintendo Switch title, though. Different types of activities yielded different eggs, but New Leafs eggs could be eaten to collect the prize tickets inside, which would be exchanged with Zipper T Bunny for Egg Set items. All the while, the villagers would talk about these odd eggs, wondering where they came from. Sadly, they didnt dress up.

Packing Day Is Time To Pounce

When a villager is in their home packing up their things, the day after they let you know they’re moving on, it’s possible to trade that villager with another player.

How it works is that anyone who wants that particular villager needs to first have an empty plot on their own island. Then, they can come and visit your island, and head over to speak to the departing villager in their home.

They will then be given the option to poach said villager, and ask them to make the move to their own island. Working out how to trade a villager in New Horizons is actually just as simple as that, it just requires a bit of coordination and good timing.

How To Catch A Flea In Animal Crossing

You can catch the flea right off of their bodies using a net. You can do so by holding down the A button while standing at a very short distance from the villager to hit the fleas with the net. They might look a bit sad at first, but should be relieved later on. You can sell these flees for 70 Bells, which doesnt seem a lot however, there is a Nook Mileage achievement for nabbing them.

New Years Eve And New Years Day: December 31 January 1

Throughout the series, New Years has always been a huge deal. It constitutes a two-day celebration in every game, though much less fuss is made of New Years Day in comparison to New Years Eve.

In New Leaf, as before in the series, an hours countdown begins at 11pm on December 31. Villagers will assemble in the Plaza in the cutest party hats you ever saw in your life, while that shady Redd will also be on hand to sell party poppers and the like. Fireworks, countdowns, and excitement abound, followed by low-key musical themes being played the next day.

It’s not as creepy as it sounds, but it is possible to trade a villager in New Horizons

Amazingly, it’s actually possible to trade a villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I must admit, after seeing so many people talking about having villagers up for grabs on their island, I was a little sceptical about how to trade a villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and whether it was indeed as sketchy as it sounds.

Thankfully, it’s rather more NSFW than I feared and figuring out how to trade a villager in New Horizons is actually more straightforward than expected. Here’s how it works:

How To Sell Stuff In Animal Crossing: New Leaf

The fastest way to make money in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is to sell items at Re-tail. Re-Tail is the towns recycling shop/flea market. You can sell most of the items you collect at Re-Tail for a higher price than what youd get at the Nooklings store. Re-Tail is also more convenient to visit, given that its in your town whereas the Nooklings store is on Main Street. That said, the owner will charge you a small fee to get rid of garbage, including tires, shoes, and Crazy Redds fake paintings .

Theres a little chalkboard outside of Re-Tail that lists up to six items that will earn you twice as many bells if you bring them in, so check it out daily.

Can You Invite Or Adopt Sanrio Villagers Without Amiibo Cards

How to Trade Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Leaf: 11 Steps

The Sanrio Collaboration in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduces six new inspired villagers called Rilla, Marty, Ãtoile, Chai, Chelsea, and Toby. Using their matching Sanrio Amiibo Cards, you can invite them to your campsite and eventually have them become full residents of your island with enough wooing.

But you get these villagers without using the Sanrio Amiibo Cards? Frequent Animal Crossing villager traders will already know that its not possible to adopt a villager from another players campsite, so we can rule out that possibility to trade.

Next, you might think that you could simply adopt the Sanrio villagers from another players island when they are in boxes and ready to move, just like any other villager in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Unfortunately, its not possible to adopt the Sanrio villagers from another players town even when they are in boxes and ready to move as Nintendo has prevented this from happening. Its likely an intentional choice to encourage Sanrio amiibo card purchases.

What about Sanrio villagers appearing on mystery islands or as random move-ins? Well, technically enough time hasnt passed to explicitly rule that out, but we highly doubt it. Theres no reason to believe this would be the case given the amount of promotions around the cards, and random move-ins werent possible in New Leaf.

Animal Crossing: How To Get Rid Of Unwanted Villagers In New Horizons

The Animal Crossing island is a pretty happening place. The game offers 397 villagers who can become a part of the players community. Each villager in the game has a distinct personality and serves a different purpose. While some villagers are extremely useful during events, others just surface to have a conversation to make Animal Crossing more interactive.

Even though there are so many different villagers, players can only select 10 villagers to live on the island at any given time. More importantly, the villagers that make the final cut have to be kept away from the ones they have a rocky relationship with.

As each new title also introduces some new characters, getting rid of some villagers can be a pretty tedious task. The following is a list of ways in which the players can get rid of the villagers they no longer want on their island. It is important to keep in mind, however, that players need to be quite motivated to get rid of villagers as this process requires a bit of effort.

Use An Amiibo Or Amiibo Card

There is a 100% guaranteed, absolutely safe to get the villager you want: use Amiibo or Amiibo cards.

Naturally, this presents a problem. You have to actually have an Amiibo or Amiibo card associated with the villager that you want to bring into the game.

At the time this article was written, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been out for less than two months, and the Amiibo cards have been more or less sold out for that entire time. If youre going to go for this method, you should expect to pay a premium on eBay, Amazon, or elsewhere.

    How To Get Non

If you want to get any of the other four types of fruits that are not native to your town, you can do so in the following ways:

    Ask Isabelle for Advice

Before you geta 100% approval rating, you can ask Isabelle for advice. Do the things that she mentions. When she talks about going to the beach to get seashells, bring her a seashell and she will give you a basket of non-nativefruit.

    Make Friends with Villagers

If your friendship with a villager is at a high level, the villager might give you some fruit, and if youare lucky, it will be a type of fruit that you don’t have. You might also get fruit in the mail fromvillagers that you are friends with.

    Trade with Other Players

Another way to get fruits is to exchange friend codes with other players and trade fruits with them.

Find Plant And Harvest Foreign Fruit

How to: Get Villagers to Move Out in Animal Crossing New Leaf

Your town has its own local fruit, and each piece generally sells for 100 bells. However, you can also procure non-local fruit, which typically goes for 500 bells per piece. If you get even a single piece of non-local fruit, make sure you plant it. Then, plant the fruit of that tree, and in time youll have an orchard worth thousands of bells.

Fruit trees can be harvested every three days once theyre fully grown. The easiest way to grab foreign fruit is to visit a friends town via Nintendo StreetPass. Your animal citizens may also give you pieces of fruit as a gift, plus you can get a basket of non-local fruit if you complete all of the tasks that Isabelle assigns to you in City Hall. If all else fails, travel to your towns Island, grab some tropical fruit, and plant it. Avoid planting your trees too close to buildings, rocks, or other trees, or else they wont grow.

Fruit that grows on palm trees, like coconuts and bananas, must be planted close to the beach in order to flourish.

Labor Day: First Monday Of September North America

Labor Day is a North American exclusive event which is also celebrated in the Animal Crossing series. As was the case with Obon, the town residents themselves dont take much of an active role in the event, but Tortimer and Isabelle mark the occasion nonetheless.

In New Leaf, Isabelle awaits in the town square, with an exclusive picnic basket item as a gift for the player. With that and the standee the player can interact with, Labor Day is definitely one of the games more low-key holidays.

Catch Fish And Bugs On The Island

Youll eventually gain the ability to travel to a tropical island off the coast of your town. The fee is 1,000 bells , but youre sure to make that up several times over with the piles of high-priced bugs and fish that you can gather while youre there. Your spoils cant leave the island in your pockets, so make sure you check it all into the basket near the exit for the boat docks. The contents of the basket will wind up on the dock back in your town, so you can pick over them and sell what you want at your leisure.

    Valentines Day: February 14

How to Trade Villagers in Animal Crossing: New Leaf: 11 Steps

Valentines Day is an event that inspires all kinds of emotions. Is it a sweet, romantic, opportunity to show our significant others our love? Is it an arbitrary date thats milked simply for candy sales? Well, yes to both, depending on who you ask.

In New Leaf, however, its a day as cute and delightful as everything else in this franchise. Villagers offer chocolates to the player, theres even a cake, and the much-missed Brewster will serve hot chocolate in his café. Its an understated holiday, but players still feel the vibe.
