Stranded Sails Explorers Of The Cursed Islands
Stranded Sails is a relaxing, family-friendly single player game with plenty of farming. Players are trapped on a deserted island and must survive. The story follows a linear path that unlocks as you build your base on the island.
Farm your own food to supply enough food for expeditions to explore the archipelago. Expeditions can be conducted on foot or on boat and are a central part of exploration in Stranded Sails. Harvesting crops and discovering recipes helps prepare rations for future expeditions.
Players will need to make sure they pack enough rations so the whole crew has enough energy. The game never punishes the player for fainting but it is a setback.
You’re New To Animal Crossing
If you’ve never ventured into the Animal Crossing world, you can quickly learn the ropes of the game with Pocket Camp. I played Animal Crossing: New Leaf back in the day, and quickly became frustrated with Tom Nook, a surly capitalist raccoon. Pocket Camp was far less frustrating for me than starting out with New Horizons would have been.
Pocket Camp also offers a smaller world to manage compared with New Horizons. There are four recreation spots to explore: Breezy Hollow, Lost Lure Creek, Saltwater Shores and Sunburst Island. The longer you play, the more spots on the map you’ll unlock, like Pete’s Parcel Service, the Happy Home Showcase and Gulliver’s Ship.
Catching bugs on Sunburst Island.
In addition, the tasks are easier on the mobile version, and update daily. Essentially, you’re getting big rewards for picking up everything on the ground and shaking all the trees. Who needs Nook Miles?

According to a post on the Nintendo website, here’s what players can expect once the updates, available in the game for a limited time, begin later this week.
Leifs Garden Shop: The sloth character, Leif, will appear in the “plaza” area of each island to sell new varieties of flowers, plants and shrubs.
Jolly Redds Treasure Trawler: Redd, a fox character who has appeared in other versions of “Animal Crossing,” will randomly appear on islands by boat. The tricky animal will be on board selling art, and players will need to figure out whether his wares are real or fake. Redd’s appearance also will lead to an expansion of the museum on the island, allowing players to donate artwork for display.
Nature Day: This event will run from April 23 through May 4. Special earth-friendly challenges, such as planting trees and watering flowers, will be given by the character Tom Nook through his “Nook Miles” phone app.
May Day Tour: Friday, May 1 is May Day, and during the first week of May players will receive a one-time-use plane ticket to be used at the airport on their island. The “May Day Ticket” will give players a tour of an island they’ve never seen before. Nintendo says a “special visitor who looks familiar” will be there waiting.
Your New Island Life Begins
Life on the island may pass in real time, but you can be as active or laid back as you like. Camp under the stars forever, or build a house. Keep the island natural, or build paths and bridges. Become close with a few islanders, or help many new friends settle in. The choice is yours!
The more you do, the more things youll discover. Catch wildlife to attract the eye of a friendly curator, gather materials to expand the islands facilities, or build enough to intrigue even more would-be residents. Even the smallest thing can lead to something much bigger…

What do you think?
Not A Particularly Deserted Island
Instead of moving to a new town, Animal Crossing: New Horizons puts you on a deserted island. Youre a customer of Nook Inc.s Deserted Island Getaway Package, where you and two random animal friends settle on an uninhabited island. This means you start with tents instead of houses, and you can craft items instead of simply buying them.
Of course, Tom Nook and his nephews are still there to help you get used to your new life on the island, so you can sell fish, bugs, and seashells, and buy tools from them. Its a hint that the twist on the Animal Crossing concept isnt perhaps as significant as it first seems. In fact, after a few days on your deserted island, the tents are replaced with houses, the Resident Services tent is supplemented by the classic Nooks Cranny shop, and youll have a full-fledged museum where you can donate unearthed fossils. Thats right, you arent on a deserted island. Youre in an Animal Crossing town.

How To Get Seven Days Of Online Play Free For Animal Crossing
If youve got a copy of Animal Crossing New Horizons, or any other Switch game allowing online play, you may want to play online with friends, especially as you can’t see them in-person right now. So you go to the Dodo in the game and he informs you that you can’t?! That’s because you need an online subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, which is usually £17.99 a year for an individual membership, or £3.49 for one month.
Here’s my sister and I enjoying playing online free for seven days being photobombed by Gala
Here’s the trick – do this before you buy anything:
- Log in to the Nintendo e-shop on your Switch.
- Select the ‘Nintendo Switch Online’ option on the left side.
- Select ‘free 7-day trial’.
- Enjoy seven days of FREE online gaming.
Important: You’ll be shown the exact date and time your free trial ends, so make sure you cancel before that time to avoid paying for a month’s online after your seven-day trial expires.
It’s worth noting than on the free trial you can play most games and use a lot of the features, but you’ll not be able to get discounts on items such as controllers or extra ‘free’ downloadable game content that fully-paid online members have access to – which brings me nicely on to the next section…
A Life Lived Together
Remember, island life is even more fun when you share the experience with friends! A single Nintendo Switch hosts one island and up to eight registered users can live on that island, each with their own home. How you work together to create your island paradise is up to you!
Even better, you can play locally on the same Nintendo Switch with up to four people at the same time*, enjoying events and life around the island together.

I Love This Game And Here Are Suggestions
We all know how great this game is. You get to talk to animals, participate in events, buy clothes for your character, and invite animals to your campsite + cabin! Ive been playing for a while and even most of my friends have played it. However, coming from a player, I would really like to see at least an icon of what a player wants to buy from the market place. I think that would be really cool. Right now, my wool stock is really low. I already am doing requests but it isnt helping. It would be cool for my player to show that I need wool so others can sell. It would be even cooler if players can gift other players items! My friends and I would love this! I dont think wed be the only ones honestly. Of course, these items would include clothes or any duplicate furniture that we want to get rid of. In order so this doesnt dominate the purpose of the market place fruits, bugs, and other resources will be limited to the market place. My third suggestion comes from the AC games. I think players would be extremely excited to design their own clothes. However, if everyone could do this freely, the clothes from events and the marketplace would have almost no value. Therefore, we must charge a certain amount of leaves. I hope someone reads this even after the New Horizons release. I know people who do not have access to a Switch will continue playing this game! Thank you for reading.
Doraemon Story Of Seasons
Since Marvelous split from Natsume weve been waiting to see what the studio would do next. The answer is a mashup between adored Japanese manga Doraemon and Story of Seasons, which is a farming simulation series thats been going since the new millennium.
The draw for Animal Crossing fans extends beyond the obvious farming activities, as you can also help improve the town, take part in activities with its denizens, fish and collect insects, and spend hours agonising over your home decorations.

You Don’t Have A Lot Of Time
Animal Crossing: New Horizon is pretty involved, but Pocket Camp offers a more streamlined gaming experience. For example, every three hours there’s a new animal at a given location. The mobile game is designed more for short, daily bursts of play, rather than hours of immersion. You can play longer, of course — there will just be less to unlock, unless you use Request Tickets to fulfill more tasks for friends.
Even though there’s a steady stream of events happening in Pocket Camp, you don’t have to participate if you don’t want to. Also, odds are the events won’t be as intricate as the ones in New Horizons, like Bunny Day, the island’s Easter equivalent. The first event I participated in was Sakura Picnic in the park. Most, if not all the tasks, were to collect sakura glass spheres, which were often rewards when I completed tasks.
My sister and I found each other on Pocket Camp.
The social aspect of Pocket Camp is also a little different. If any of your friends play Pocket Camp, you can add each other using your ID code. The downside is that you can’t “play together” as you would in New Horizons. When you visit a friend’s campsite, you’ll only see them standing next to their camper. Tap on them, and you can view their Market Box or give them Kudos.
