What Are All The Fruits In Animal Crossing

How To Get Grapes Lemons And Lychee Fruits

All Fruits in Animal Crossing: New Horizons Ranked Worst to Best

To find the Grapes, Lemons, and Lychee fruit in Pocket Camp, youll want to check your Local Produce fruit trees. Each player has two Local Produce fruit trees growing in their game, and they can be found in the very top left of the Lost Lure Creek area and the very bottom left of the Breezy Hollow area.

However, your Local Produce fruit trees will only grow one of the three possible fruits. You can get either Grapes, Lemons, or Lychee growing on the tree in your game, but you will never find the other two fruits youre missing growing on a tree.

In order to find and get the other two fruits that your game isnt growing, youll need to make use of other players Market Boxes. The easiest way to do so is opening up your Friends List in the top right and tapping Details on each of your friends to view their Market Boxes. If theyve got the fruit you need, buy it!

Dont worry if you dont have many friends on Pocket Camp though because theres another option you can use. By just talking to any player you encounter at locations in the game, like next to barbecues for example, you can view their Market Box even if youre not friends.

In addition to picking up the fruit youre missing from other players, you should definitely be sure to put your own exclusive local produce fruit type up for sale in your Market Box to sell to others for some free bells! Plus youll help out your friends who might need your special fruit type.

Dodo Codes From Online Communities

Some online communities will give out their Dodo codes for many reasons such as good turnip prices, Celeste being available on the island, or to come and get some fruit. You can join up with one of these communities and ask for some fruit, or jump over to an island to get what you’re missing. It’s important to be clear that these people are okay with you taking the fruit, though. If someone is advertising their Dodo code because turnips are at 400 bells on their island and you just hop on over and start picking their fruit when fruit was never mentioned, that’s rude and a quick way to make enemies with this game.

Communities can be found on places like Reddit, Discord, or even just by searching the web. A lot of these communities will charge a fee and even when no fee is charged, it’s considered rude to go there without leaving a tip, so do your research about what tip is appropriate and be aware of the etiquette!

How To Get All Fruit

On your island, youll have one of the five core fruit types, which are Apples, Cherries, Oranges, Peaches and Pears. These will grow naturally on the trees in your town, but will only sell for 100 Bells.

Youll receive a letter on your second day playing the game from your Mom who will include a foreign piece of fruit. This is always random, but tends to be one of the other four core fruit types.

The remaining four types of fruit youll need can be obtained either by visiting other players islands who have different native fruit, or by visiting random islands with Nook Miles Tickets.

These Nook Miles Ticket islands will almost always have Coconut trees on its beaches, too. Here, you can either eat a piece of fruit and use a shovel to dig up the entire tree and put it in your pocket, or you can just shake the tree and plant the fruit on your island to grow your own trees and sustainable source of foreign fruit.

There you have a complete list of all fruit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, alongside how to make sure you get them all on your island, too. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage below.

& Be Careful About Location

[Top 5] Animal Crossing: New Horizons Best Fruits to Have ...

Be careful about where you plant the fruit! If you plant it too close to a river, it won’t grow. It’s also important to note that fruit trees cannot grow on sand except coconuts, and coconuts can’t grow on the grass. Don’t be that person who leaves something buried for three days, only to realize it was never growing at all.

Animal Crossing: How To Plant Different Fruit Trees In New Horizons

Fortunately, trees can be chopped down and uprooted in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which means that players don’t have to keep any of their island’s starting fruit trees if they don’t want to. Instead, they can acquire the fruit of their choice by either touring New Horizons’ mystery islands or exchanging them with other players. Many instead opt to diversify the island’s trees, planting several of each variety around the island, sometimes even in a designated orchard space. Fruit trees in Animal Crossing are not only profitable, but can also be used as a convenient design feature, more so given the terraforming options available in New Horizons.

This feature is likewise something that could be changed moving forward, as well, given that Nintendo reportedly plans to continue support of New Horizons for the foreseeable future. New Animal Crossing content and other free updates are consistently being added to the game, meaning that at some point perhaps it will be possible to select a specific fruit tree when a new island is created. Players may eventually even be able to talk to Isabelle at Resident Services in order to make a change once the game’s already begun, or perhaps such a mechanic could eventually be implemented into the next Animal Crossing game. For the time being, however, players will simply have to work with the options that are already provided in New Horizons.

Can I Get All The Fruit Types By Visiting Random Islands

I don’t have a Switch Online subscription, and have no intention of getting one, so the only way that I can get fruit that isn’t native to my island is to use Nook Miles Tickets and visit random islands.

This seems to have worked to get me coconuts and pears, but despite many Random Islands I haven’t found any of the other 3 fruits.

Most guides and sources say that you can get random fruits from these islands, but a few individuals have said that you will only ever find one extra fruit this way. I’ve looked online for confirmation that this is how it works, but haven’t found a solid answer.

Am I actually able to get all 6 fruit types just from Nook Miles Tickets?

  • 2It’s worth noting that you can use Local connections to visit islands. This shouldn’t require a NSO subscription since it doesn’t use Wifi, but does require someone being physically near you.Apr 22 ’20 at 15:18

  • You’re right, it does solve my personal problem , but doesn’t answer the question I wanted answered . I’ve edited the question to be more specificly about Nook Miles Tickets.

No, unfortunately you’ll not be able to get all 6 fruit types without using online services.Currently, the game will let you get only 4 different fruits with local play:

  • Your native fruit
  • The fruit your mom sent via e-mail
  • Coconuts on mystery islands

    How To Plant Trees

Your native fruit can be sold for 100 Bells each, and new fruit will appear on those trees three days later. If you want to grow more trees, you can dig a hole with your shovel, stand next to it, open your inventory and select a piece of fruit. A prompt will appear to plant it. Press A and you’ll bury the fruit, and a nursery tree will appear. The tree will take three days to grow to full size, transitioning from nursery to small young tree, to a medium young tree. Make sure to leave enough room for it to expand. If you can dig three holes between the sapling and the nearest tree, you’re good.

If you want to move it during this time, you can dig it up with your shovel and the growing tree will appear in your inventory. You can then replant it without losing any progress for its growth. Once it’s fully grown, you’ll need some help to dig it up. Luckily, that boost is close at hand. Just go into your inventory and eat a piece of fruit. You can eat up to 10 pieces of fruit to gain a buff that gives you the strength to dig up fully grown trees or shatter rocks when you hit them. Every time you use that strength, the buff ticks down by one. You can also get rid of it by using your toilet.

Can Animal Crossing Players Change Their Local Fruit Type

How to get Every Fruit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

Animal Crossing starts players out with one of five random fruit types on their island. Is there any way to change this after New Horizons begins?

Fruit trees are a staple of the Animal Crossing series, providing an easy and renewable way to earn Bells quickly. Each player starts with one of five different types of fruit on their island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: apples, oranges, cherries, peaches, and pears. Is there any way to change this once it’s been decided?

An island’s fruit is determined when players pick their island’s map, a process that begins at the check-in counter as soon as the game begins. At this stage, players have the option to close and restart the game if the perfect New Horizons island layout isn’t available, but it cannot be changed again after that. Unfortunately, Animal Crossing doesn’t provide the option of selecting which fruit is native to the island. Instead, the process is entirely random.

    Using The Newly Attained Fruits

Once you have collected fruit trees, its time to start planting them on your island. In order to plant the fruit trees, you need to have access to a shovel A flimsy shovel will work just fine. For non-tropical fruit trees , simply find a location with grass, dig a hole, and select the fruit from your inventory to plant it. If youre trying to plant a tropical coconut fruit tree on your island, youll need to dig a hole in sand, near the beach, instead of on grass. If you plant a non-tropical tree in sand, or plant a tropical tree in grass, youll be left with a permanent sapling that will never grow to its full size.

Whether youre building an orchard of apples, a mangrove of oranges, or giving a go at earning Animal Crossing Bells by selling fruit, dont forget to check up on your trees every few days. Once youve shaken the fruit from your trees, it will take 3 days for the fruit to regenerate.

Plus, these islands will always have palm trees on the beach, for nabbing yourself a coconut or 10. Make sure to plant your ‘nuts on the beach when you’re back home too, they won’t grow anywhere else.

Players can either sell the fruit to Timmy and Tommy, use them as crafting materials for special DIY items, eat them to gain stamina to temporarily break rocks or transplant whole trees, or trade them with friends.
