How To Use Dream Bell Exchange Tickets

Animal Crossing Amiibos What Do They Do

Got yourself a Dream Bell Exchange Ticket from Luna in your mailbox and not sure what to do with it? These handy Dream Bell Exchange Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be sold to Timmy & Tommy at Nooks Cranny for 5,000 Bells each at any time.

Unfortunately, were not aware of any other possible uses for Dream Bell Exchange Ticket at this time. That could change, but given the word Bell is even in the name, we doubt theres any other purpose for these tickets besides getting Bells as described above.

A couple new items were added in Version 1.4 of Animal Crossing: New Horizons that may appear to be related to Dream Bell Exchange Tickets due to their theme, like the Moon Rug and Lunas Bed, but these are obtained in other ways unrelated to tickets.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bell Vouchers Explained

Of all of the different mechanics in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all the junk surrounding Tom Nook and Nook Miles is kind of poorly explained. Tom Nook is really important to the growth and prosperity of your island, so it kind of sucks that many of the uses of the items he sells are so poorly explained. One of the more common areas of confusion with the Nook Miles is just what the heck Bell Vouchers do, and how to reliably get them.

Saving up for Nook Miles Tickets is a big part of this game. Animal Crossing: New Horizon will hand the player tons of tasks to complete and resources to gather. These Nook Miles Tickets can be traded for new DIY Recipes, as well as personal upgrades like increased Pocket space, and more. Sure, it might all seem very obvious, but its nice to have things explained regardless.

    New Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards

How to use Amiibos in Animal Crossing New Horizon

From today there are also a bunch of new amiibo cards you can purchase and use with the game. The main new series comes in red booster packs with different Welcome amiibo themed artwork that the previous series dont have. This set contains 50 cards and each pack will give you 3 at random. Most Aussie retailers dont seem to be advertising these cards for sale only EB is showing them on their site at the time of writing, with a price of $4.95 a pack. Beat the Bomb had a full display box of cards for just under $100 but they appear to be sold out currently. Its worth keeping an eye on their site because this can save you a bit of time and money, and past experiences with display boxes have been positive due to them giving a complete set most of the time. I bought boxes for all four of the previous series and Im only missing a single card.

These new cards have expanded functionality compared to the previous series due to being designed with the Welcome amiibo update in mind. They function like the Animal Crossing figures, bringing a villager and their RV into your campground where you can meet them and order their furniture . However, as these characters are actual villagers you can also ask them to move into your town. If your town is full then you can select another villager to move out to make room for the new character. None;of the characters on these new cards has appeared in New Leaf previously, so you might find some old favourites from previous games in this set.

How To Get Bell Vouchers In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

You can purchase Bell Vouchers after youve upgraded the Resident Services building. Once the building has been completed, all you need to do is head inside and access the Nook Stop. From the options it offers, choose Redeem Nook Miles. You should see the Bell Voucher near the top for a price of 500 Miles. You can buy as many as you want, making it a great option to boost your balance if youre close to paying off your debt or suddenly need an extra splash of cash.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Campsite And Amiibo Visitors

    The second type of Animal Crossing: New Horizons amiibo functionality comes through the campsite, which you’ll add to your island by talking to Tom Nook once the Resident Services upgrades from a tent to a building. Once it’s built, you can invite villagers to visit the campsite using your amiibo and amiibo cards. The same restrictions apply – you can’t invite characters like Resetti or Digby, and even Isabelle won’t turn up at the campsite – but you can ask any villager to pay you a visit. This is where amiibo cards come in particularly handy.;

    Once a character has arrived at your campsite, you can head over and talk to them. They will usually ask you to craft a souvenir for them to take back home with you, but doing this gets you closer to unlocking the option to ask them to move to your island permanently. You will have to invite them to the campsite several times before they consider making the move – and you can only invite one character to the campsite per calendar day – but it’s worth pursuing if there’s a particular character you want on your island.;

This is currently the only way to cherry-pick the characters that move to your island. Otherwise Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers will arrive at random to the campsite, or will lurk on the islands you can visit using Nook Miles Tickets.

When Will Animal Crossing: New Horizons Get Zelda Characters

In every previous Animal Crossing installment, there have been nods to the Legend of Zelda series. Either through items or sneaky dialogue. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, players could even find the Master Sword that came complete with sound effects. However, the Legend of;Zelda amiibo;currently dont work for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but this doesnt necessarily mean a crossover wont happen eventually.

In March of 2021 Nintendo released a set of Super; items for Animal Crossing: New Horizons as part of the 35th anniversary celebration for the Super; series. Players can order these Super-themed items from the Nook Shopping app on their in-game phone, and stock up on 1-Up Mushrooms or dress up as Princess Peach. However, another huge Nintendo franchise The Legend of Zelda is also celebrating its 35th;anniversary this year, even though Nintendo has yet to pay it much mind.

Released on February 21st, 1986, The Legend of Zelda turned 35 this year, and fans were disappointed by Nintendos lack of fanfare. So far, the only release in this series set for 2021 is a remake of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, which is set for July.;Though it is strange that Nintendo didnt release Legend of Zelda items for the 35th anniversary, it seems only a matter of time before Animal Crossing: New Horizons will see a Legend of Zelda update.

Your Animal Crossing Amiibos Will Finally Do Something In New Leaf

Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival Nintendo Wii U + Amiibos ...

You’ll be able to summon a villager to your Animal Crossing town with Amiibos soon.

If you’ve been wanting to use your Animal Crossing Amiibos for a core game in the series, you’ll be able to do so this fall. Nintendo announced on that it’s bringing an update to Animal Crossing: New Leaf that enables support for the character figurines.

The free update will allow players to tap compatible Amiibo figures and cards to their 3DS, which will then bring that specific villager to your town. You can check out some screenshots and every compatible Amiibo in the gallery below.

Nintendo says, “They may even move in,” though some of the listed compatible characters have roles in the town that would prevent them from behaving like one of your neighbors. It’s not yet known if K.K. Slider will actually be able to move to your town, but if I could be neighbors with Kapp’n, I wouldn’t complain–after all, he is the best Animal Crossing character.

Additionally, two of the screenshots show characters, furniture, and clothing based on Splatoon‘s Callie and Marie. The two characters have their own Amiibo figures, but they aren’t listed as compatible with New Leaf. More details are coming soon, but we’ve contacted Nintendo for clarification.

Animal Crossing Amiibo figures were originally made to be compatible with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival.

And last, New Horizons supports Animal Crossing: New Leaf Welcome amiibo series cards. These 50 cards were released when amiibo support was added to New Leaf as a way to promote the update.

Inviting Visitors To Your Island Campsite Via Amiibo

How do you invite amiibo characters to your island? Ah, the Golden Trout of amiibo questions. And just like catching a Golden Trout, this one takes some patience.

In order to invite your favourite characters directly to your island in full interactive glory, you must first build a campsite. Once you’ve got a functioning campsite, you must wait for one random camper to visit . We recommend going through the motions to have them move onto your island – not only does this help move the game forward, but we’re fairly certain it’s required in order to access amiibo functionality for your campsite.

After going through this process, Tom Nook should mention to you that amiibo functionality has been added to the Nook Stop kiosk. The next time your campsite is empty, head to Nook Stop and scan in one of your favorite villagers – immediately after which, they should appear at your campsite. It should be noted that only one villager can visit your campsite per day.

Which amiibo can be invited to the campsite? Again, not all amiibo can be invited to camp on your island. Most of the general and “Welcome Amiibo” cards can be invited. Below are the amiibo which cannot be invited:

    • Non-Animal Crossing-specific amiibo
    • Villager from Smash
    • Sanrio “Welcome Amiibo” cards
    • Special character figures and cards

Animal Crossing New Horizons – How To Use Amiibos To Move In Villagers

In New Horizon, Amiibos can be used to take photos. To do so, go to Harvey who is a dog on your Island. Go to Photopia with him. Photopia is the games new photo mode. Here you can scan your amiibo and pose with them to take cute photos.

You can use the photos to order posters from Nook Shopping. Scan amiibo cards to add your favorite villagers to your photo set and unlock a poster of them.

Invite Amiibo Characters to live on your IslandYou can invite Amiibo characters to your Island to live. You will have to set up a campsite on your Island first. You can do so by using the Nook Stop at resident services.

Animals appear at random at the campsite, often inside its tent, and Isabelle will announce in the morning when theres a new visitor.

Not all the characters will come to live, but each of them will give a special message even if they do not come to live!

At Nook shop, scan an amiibo card to invite an amiibo at your campsite. Depending on your luck, they may accept or decline your offer.

Smash Bros. and Sanrio Amiibo cards. In New Horizons, The Villager and Isabelle amiibo for Super Smash Bros. will also work. You can get a poster for the Villager amiibo, but he will not appear at Photopia or the Campsite. Isabelles Smash Bros. amiibo will work at Photopia, but she wont camp with you.

To receive a poster of Sanrio, scan the Sanrio collaborations amiibo cards. But they wont appear in the game or your Campsite.
