We Need To Talk About Stitches
Several characters in Animal Crossing pose disturbing existential questions by their mere presence, particularly Hopkins, who appears to be an inflatable toy rabbit. There have been numerous debates among Animal Crossing fans about whether or not Hopkins, who has a blow-up nozzle on the back of his head, is real. It would seem that the fleshier animals in the game have similar concerns and an innate, borderline prejudiced distrust of counterfeit animals. Although he is seemingly afforded the same rights to life and liberty as the others, the character profile for Hopkins includes a sinister warning: Just a heads-up: Hopkins is not to be trusted. Hes always full of hot air.
But most disturbing of all is Stitches, a teddy bear whose body has been Frankensteined together from seemingly haphazard scraps of fabric or, possibly, the bodies of other bears. This alarming animal Pinocchio has Xs instead of eyes, and seems to be a spirit of some kind, trapped in the body of a nightmare doll that looks like its about to pull out a knife and demand that you play with him forever. He also reflexively refers to you as stuffin, which sounds like a threat in a way that I do not wish to investigate.
Can I Have My Bells Back
The sheer number of items Pocket Camp offered in one month alone was staggering.
Unfortunately, no unique non-seasonal items found their way into the game via updates, outside of rugs. Eventually the mermaid series from New Leaf was released in a summer update, giving fans hope that even if no new furtniture sets outside of the expected holiday items release, at least we’d get the furniture sets from New Leaf back. Where were the Gracie sets, like the Princess and Gorgeous series? Or staples to the franchise, like the Regal and Modern series?
Meanwhile, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp received new items on a seemingly weekly basis. New fortune cookies, gardening events, holiday events, interior design challenges, you name it. In New Horizons, players could count on the standard holidays like Toy Day and Bunny Day, but there wasn’t much to do between holidays besides the off Bug-Off or Fishing Tourney. Except Pocket Camp had Bug-Offs and Fishing Tourneys, too. The sheer number of items Pocket Camp offered in one month alone was staggering.
Nintendo re-released the amiibo cards from the Sanrio crossover collaboration where players could invite Sanrio villagers to their islands in March of 2021. Given that Sanrio furniture and villagers were also available in Pocket Camp, players assumed that new items would be released.
What To Do If Your Subscribed Directly On Animal Crossing’s Website
Here’s how to cancel your Animal Crossing subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.
Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company’s website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s website or directly reach out to the payments provider.

How To Get Pocket Camp Items In New Horizons
With the release of Animal Crossing New Horizons, players who have also used Animal Crossing Pocket Camp on mobile devices can link their Nintendo Account for access to unique items normally not accessible in New Horizons.
To begin, players must ensure that their Pocket Camp game is linked up to the same Nintendo Account that they are playing their New Horizons game on Nintendo Switch.
Once this is done, login to AC Pocket Camp and look in the menu for the “My Nintendo” section that lists available reward.
Look for the “Animal Crossing: New Horizons Special Offer” and redeem it to get free 50 Leaf Tickets, plus a redeemable code.
You must use the code displayed after redemption on your Switch’s eShop, under the “Enter Code” section. Doing this will download a free DLC addon to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Once the DLC is updated, start New Horizons, and visit the Nook Stop Shop terminal at Resident Services, and you will see a new tab in the shopping menu, where you will find new items that are Pocket Camp themed, as well as a hat and t-shirt.

Mysterious Wall & Floor Collection
It’s not so mysterious anymore.
If you’re wondering why it’s not in banner form, you can thank WindKirby for not providing a picture of it. Damn you, Woodsy!
The mysterious wall and floor collection is set to make your cabin look either like a fortune-telling place or the Sacred Grove.
This also works as a sneak-peek to the upcoming Queenie’s Mystic Cookie. Or so I speculate. Don’t take my word as sacred, I’m just the messenger!

New Horizons: No Cool Down Times
When you do get events like the fishing tournament in the console version, though, it plays out a bit different. You can participate in the tourney as many times as you wish in the single day it’s available. There is no cool down time for catching more tourney fish, just a fee of 500 bells that you will have to pay after you have competed in the tournament once.
The tournaments can be a place to get exclusive items and quickly earn bells from the fish hungry host.

A Beginners Guide For Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
Animal Crossing is an odd franchise. Compared to the other games that have a specific objective, Animal Crossing is an interesting social simulation game where the enjoyment is in the journey and not so much the destination. In this sense, youll be walking around talking to NPCs, decorating your living spaces, inviting villagers to your campsite, and crafting new and exciting clothing and furniture to give the area your own personal touch.
However, seeing that theres no real urgency nor specific objectives in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, aside from the Time Goals, and since there are many, many things to do, its easy to lose track of what to prioritize. If youre just starting out, then youll probably benefit a lot from taking a look at this beginners guide, where well be talking about the basic aspects of the game, as well as give some guidance of the things you should be focusing on.

Jack’s Throne Of Darkness
How can we be sure he’s the same Jack as the one from Puppet Theater?
Jack makes his second appearance as a piece of special furniture this Spooktober, with Jack’s Throne of Darkness.
Jack sits atop a throne in this all new special furniture, where he reads from a book and a summoning circle appears in front of him. My best guess is that it’s a book of spells, and he’s using necromancy. Possibly trying to resurrect Lucky.
He will also work perfectly as the villain to all of your medieval stories as a necromancer, or even the one wizard to have summoned the dragon.
I feel like this special furniture truly does the Czar of Halloween justice. You can snag it 4th of October GMT / 3rd of October PST for Leaf Tickets.

Fishing Catching Bugs And Other Activities
Some of the staple activities you can do in any Animal Crossing game are fishing and catching insects. In Pocket Camp, instead of having dedicated tools in your inventory to do so, you must travel to specific recreational areas that are meant for this purpose. Once you arrive in any of these, your character will already have either the fishing rod or bug net equipped, ready for use.
The different recreational zones for fishing and bug catching in Pocket Camp include the following:
- Lost Lure Creek: River Fishing.
- Saltwater Shores: Ocean Fishing.
- Sunburst Island: Bug Catching.
- Breezy Hollow: Fruit Collecting.
- Shovelstrike Quarry: Special game mode where you can use your shovel to collect many crafting materials. Requires either 20 Leaf Tickets or help from 5 friends in order to access it.
The bugs and fish you can catch in Pocket Camp are used for villager requests mostly, though you can also sell them on the marketplace, which is like an auction house where you can set your own prices and other players can view your listings and buy them. Alternatively, you can sell it directly to the store for a set price, which is usually lower than the marketplace.
The other materials that you receive from these activities, especially from Shovelstrike Quarry, can also be used for crafting new furniture and other items.

We have made it super easy to cancel Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp subscription at the root to avoid any and all mediums “Nintendo Co., Ltd.” uses to bill you. Now let us get into the crux of this guide.
What’s Different About Pocket Camp Versus New Horizons
Pocket Camp is a streamlined, slimmed-down version of the Animal Crossing games. Here, you start off with an empty campground that the Shih Tzu Isabelle gives you, and your goal is to build up the best campsite possible to invite all your animal friends to hang out at. That’s one of the best parts of Pocket Camp: Instead of the limited amount of recruitable villagers available in New Horizons, Pocket Camp gives you access to the entire catalogue of animals that you can befriend, build up relationships with, and eventually pick outfits for them. Once you’ve reached a certain threshold, they’ll be available to invite to your camp, pending some specific furniture your new friends demand.
Crafting those items, however, is one of the biggest differences of Pocket Camp. You’ll still have to collect the requisite amount of materials to build, say, a lovely armoire, but instead of hitting up a workbench and having the item spit out instantly, you go through two very nice alpacas, Cyrus and Reese, who build these things for you. You can craft three things at a time, but the downside is that you’ll have to wait for it to be finished. Sometimes that’s 30 seconds, and sometimes it’s 36 hours. You can speed up that long wait with the Pocket Camp-specific currency Leaf Tickets, which you can accumulate naturally through playing the game, or you can buy up a bunch of them by forking over real money.
New Horizons: Better Maps
While Pocket Camp can run on your smartphone, it’s not going to be as big of a game. Just the overworld of New Horizonsgreatly triumphs over Pocket Camp in size. Unlike in the mobile game, the console version will let you decorate pretty much everything on the map to your liking. There is also a much bigger house for you to upgrade into, with multiple rooms for decoration.
Even all the animals only your island will have there own place that you can visit anytime they are home.

I Love This Game And Here Are Suggestions
We all know how great this game is. You get to talk to animals, participate in events, buy clothes for your character, and invite animals to your campsite + cabin! Ive been playing for a while and even most of my friends have played it. However, coming from a player, I would really like to see at least an icon of what a player wants to buy from the market place. I think that would be really cool. Right now, my wool stock is really low. I already am doing requests but it isnt helping. It would be cool for my player to show that I need wool so others can sell. It would be even cooler if players can gift other players items! My friends and I would love this! I dont think wed be the only ones honestly. Of course, these items would include clothes or any duplicate furniture that we want to get rid of. In order so this doesnt dominate the purpose of the market place fruits, bugs, and other resources will be limited to the market place. My third suggestion comes from the AC games. I think players would be extremely excited to design their own clothes. However, if everyone could do this freely, the clothes from events and the marketplace would have almost no value. Therefore, we must charge a certain amount of leaves. I hope someone reads this even after the New Horizons release. I know people who do not have access to a Switch will continue playing this game! Thank you for reading.
