Youll find that the design of weeds have been changed with the season as well, not to mention the minor yet cute touch of the games loading screen island icon changing to the new season.
And of course, well begin to see the island grass slowly transition into a browner, autumn aesthetic later in the month.

One of the things that make Animal Crossing: New Horizons unique is that the activities and events within the game correspond to the real-life time of year. That means that when it’s springtime, cherry blossoms and vibrant flowers will be plentiful on your New Horizons island. And when it’s Winter, snow will furnish every tree and building.
What makes Animal Crossing one of the best Nintendo Switch games is that there are several season-specific activities for you to engage in, whether that be building a snowman in Winter or gathering flowers for a daisy chain in Spring. For new players to the game since last Fall, the most significant new content to enjoy in Animal Crossing: New Horizons during September is a changeover of seasonal materials and DIY Recipes! After 3 long months of Summer Shells on the beach, players in the Northern Hemisphere can enjoy brand new Acorns and Pine Cones dropping from their islands trees.
Specifically, you can now shake your traditional hardwood trees for a chance of dropping Acorns and the tall cedar trees for a helping of Pine Cones. By shooting down flying balloon presents across your sky, a fresh batch of autumn seasonal DIY Crafting recipes can be collected for using those new materials.

As for our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, they can now experience the Young Spring Bamboo crafting material and recipes exclusively available during the Spring season now that the Winter has passed! Chopping bamboo trees with an axe can randomly drop special Young Spring Bamboo instead of regular Bamboo.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the first game in the series to let you decide which hemisphere your island is located.
Your choice of hemisphere will determine when you experience each season in accordance to when these seasons occur on the real world hemispheres.
If you pick the southern hemisphere, for example, then you’ll experience winter throughout June, July and August, just like the southern hemisphere in the real world.
You make your choice of hemisphere at the beginning of the game when you’re choosing the island you wish to move to.

When choosing your hemisphere, decide on if you want to have the same or opposing seasons to your current region. If you want a feeling of Spring even if your region just entered Fall for example, choose an in-game hemisphere opposite of yours.
Consider the Seasonal Events You Like
Different seasons offer different envents that can be undertaken. For example, you can play with flowers in spring while you can make a snowman in winter. Choose your preferred seasonal event & plan which hemisphere to choose accordingly.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Fall Update 2021
Start from September, Fall is dropping into the northern hemisphere islands brought the cozy and warmer vibe and will continue until November, and the blooming cherry blossoms in spring also intoxicated players in the southern hemisphere. Fall marks as the harvest season with a number of holidays such as the Grape Harvest Festival and Harvest Festival. Summer In Animal Crossing: New Horizons Explained
Summer for islands in the northern hemisphere occurs during June, July and August.
In the southern hemisphere, however, summer runs throughout December, January and February.
The hot summer months will allow the wildlife on your island to truly bloom; the foliage will turn a vibrant green and you’ll be able to find a new selection of bugs, including mantis. The sea and rivers of your island will also be full of new fish for you to catch.

Halloween Night On Oct 31st
The Halloween Night event will, unsurprisingly, be happening on October 31st. Jack, the czar of Halloween, will make an appearance on Halloween Night as well. You can purchase candies during the Halloween preparation time to give out to villagers in costumes.
Seasonal Months Depend On Your Hemisphere
The Northern and Southern Hemisphere have opposite seasons. For example, if you are playing in July, it will be Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but Winter in the Southern one.
The island will also look drastically different depending on the season. Some bugs and fish will also appear depending on the season.

Brewster Arrives At Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Brewster has a huge following, and many gamers are dying to see his return to New Horizons. Before the 1.10 update, a lot of rumors are circulating that some codes have been found in the game related to him. Interestingly, dataminers even recently reported that they found a museum café with the code name in the game files.

This could only lead to one possibility, which is that Nintendo plans to release the Cafe, Roost and Brewster in the next fall update. When the Halloween event does happen in Animal Crossing New Horizons, players will be visited by Jack.
If you give Jack lollipops and candy, youll be rewarded with spooky in-game rewards. However, you must also keep candy for your neighbours otherwise you might get pranked.
Crash Drive 3 – Announcement Trailer
In the build-up to the Halloween event, the Fall update for Animal Crossing New Horizons will allow players to buy candy but only once per day.

New Crafting Materials And Diy Recipes
After , players who have the DIY Recipes app unlocked will receive the Tree’s Bounty Little Tree recipe from Isabelle after turning their games on. Additionally, she’ll explain that acorns and pinecones can now fall from your island’s trees. Starting players can purchase pumpkin starts and grow their own pumpkin patches. If you gather pumpkins, you’ll be able to craft them into various Spooky Pumpkin DIY recipes during the month of October. Tend to your patch so you can get your island completely ready for this spooky night.
Then from players will find mushrooms on their islands. There are five different kinds of fungi and you can use them to craft super cute Mushroom DIY recipes for your island.
