A Brewster Update Is Rumored To Be Coming Soon To Animal Crossing: New Horizons

I’m worried about the next Animal Crossing update…

Oh, by the way, Nook’s Cranny is offering a special item related to the French National Day ‘le 14 juillet’ starting today! It’s only available until July 20th, so be sure to check it out soon if you’re interested.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons players might not have to wait long at all to see Brewster. As GamesRadar+ reported, reputable Animal Crossing leaker Samus Hunter that a Brewster update might arrive in November at the latest.

Its also worth noting the rumor that a Nintendo Direct could arrive sometime in September, possibly featuring news about Brewster. However, these are just rumors, and Nintendo has yet to confirm anything.

The Garden Path Looks Like A Hand

The Garden Path is a new indie life-sim with a gorgeous hand-drawn aesthetic coming in 2021.

In development at carrotcake, The Garden Path looks like Animal Crossing but with an isometric perspective and more subdued art style. Its world runs in real time complete with the changing seasons, its inhabited by various animals with unique personalities and stories, and your goal is basically to hang out, fish, tend to your garden, and meet new friends.

Charming inhabitants will come and go, from Bunk, the tea-brewing macaque to Larto, a Greenlandic Musk Ox with a penchant for song-fish. You may even find some visitors willing to make their home alongside your own! reads The Garden Paths Steam product page.

There are quite a few life sims out there right now, with Animal Crossing: New Horizons extremely well-timed release early last year reinvigorating interest in the genre. But The Garden Paths appeal seems to be that it focuses solely on letting you step away and catch a breath from the breakneck pace of the real world these days. It almost sounds meditative, even. No scary bunnies on Easter, no ruthless turnip market to keep up with, just soothing sounds and sights to live in, if and when you please.

The garden is calm and still. A tender world of familiar sights and sounds, melody, and friendly faces. A space to call your own, to curate, and to reflect, says carrotcake.

New Crops And Cooking

Bringing pumpkins to Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Halloween introduced a lot of new possibilities for the series. Many fans were expecting the return of fruits like durians and bananas, but pumpkins allowed players to turn their islands into actual farms. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see this new mechanic expanded on with additional crops and the ability to craft them into appetizing dishes.

Like with the new villager interactions, this prediction comes from data found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, listing several crops such as potatoes, carrots and wheat. While this doesn’t confirm anything, it does potentially mean that players will one day be able to farm, cook, and hopefully eat a variety of dishes later this year.

Kk Slider Could Host Concerts At The Roost

Can you believe it’s the last day of June? And it’s been a year since I started helping Mr. Nook send these messages! WellI’ll spend a little time today reminiscing, but I’ll still be hard at work helping you all with your islands. Oh, it’s so fun, I hardly consider it work!

Isabelle

Previous Animal Crossing games have also seen the famous dog musician, K.K. Slider, perform at Brewsters cafe. Like the weekly concerts in New Horizons, K.K. performed inside the cafe on Saturday evenings, giving players the option to request songs. Players were then given a copy of the music to add to their stereos at home.

In New Horizons, K.K. performs in front of the Resident Services building, with chairs around him for villagers to enjoy the concerts. And, yes, he performs in every type of weather, even rain and snow. When an event is scheduled for the same day, K.K.s concerts are pushed to another day.

Perhaps The Roost could become a secondary location for the musician to perform, if not a replacement. That way, K.K. could still perform on his normal weekly schedule.

Nintendo Promises More Animal Crossing New Horizons Content Is In Development

Nintendo released New Horizons first update in three months this week, adding weekly fireworks shows and new seasonal items.

The three-month wait for the new update has led to concerns from some players that support for the game was slowing down, but Nintendos message appears to be an attempt to assuage these concerns.

Improvements We Need In The Next Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update

We can take a look at a total of 10 features that the Crossing Channel considers necessary for the next update of the title, scheduled for later this month. They are the following:

  • Changes to Cinnamons daily announcements, as there are many days when the character doesnt really contribute anything and wastes the players time. Instead, it would be more useful if he could inform us about the special character that is on the island that day, such as Ladino or Gulliver, or the weather that is going to be there.

Halloween In Animal Crossing New Horizons

Predicting the Next Animal Crossing Update Trailer…

For the first time in an Animal Crossing game, New Horizons delivers seasonal events via an update to avoid players time traveling and experiencing events out of season. This also goes for this years Halloween event.

There is currently no information on what this years spooky event will entail, what we do know is that our islanders will contribute by decorating their homes and store fronts! Much like the town plaza transformed into an easter wonderland last spring.

During a Nintendo Direct gameplay reveal we got our first look at some of the Halloween decorations taken place in New Horizons. Take a look at the Nooks Cranny during the fall time! These pumpkins and tiny spiderwebs are the cutest.

The Longest Update Drought So Far

If it feels like its been a long time since the last Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update, dont worry youre not just imagining it. Animal Crossing World ran an analysis of every major update released so far and the current update drought is the worst since release.

As of publishing time, its been 87 days and counting since the most recent update released on April 28th bringing minor event updates to May Day, International Museum Day, and Wedding Season. Its likely that number will have hit 90 when the next update releases too.

Previous records were set by two past updates at 71 days and 70 days, but both had some widely different circumstances from the current update gap one taking place after an understandable holiday break, and the other reasonably close to the games launch when fans were still digging through the initial content.

Update
87 Days And Counting!

Contrast that to todays scenario and you have a very different picture, especially after the previous update 87 days and counting ago was already considered highly lackluster when launched! Find our full table of analysis above.

Brewster Could Bring Gyroids Back To Animal Crossing

Lastly, Brewster was often previously associated with Gyroids another missed Animal Crossing staple. These furniture items appeared as wooden cylinders with carved faces and arms, and they moved in a circular motion when activated. New Horizons players see talking Gyroids manage bridge and incline construction, but they were collectibles in previous games.

One of Brewsters hobbies was collecting Gyroids, so he offered to store players Gyroids for them when they became friends in Animal Crossing: City Folk. He also gave Brewster-themed Gyroids to players who completed barista shifts in New Leaf.

We can only hope that Brewster and Gyroids go hand-in-hand in a future update so players can start building collections again.

Undoubtedly, these will add limited-time items to the game from last year but might also include items never seen before.

Nintendo Leaker Notes Brewster Coming In A Future Update

Leaks are far too common within gaming, and while Nintendo has done a decent job at controlling some of these leaks, theyve sometimes broken out into the public.
