Pascal Animal Crossing New Horizons: Everything You Need To Know
Pascal Animal Crossing New Horizons is back in the first summer update.
Pascal will arrive in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on July 3 for the first of two summer updates. The update will also bring back sea creature collecting and swimming, where you’ll be able to encounter Pascal. There will be another update coming in August.
Things You Can Do With Animal Crossing Pascal
As mentioned above, you can trade the Scallop you catch with this adorable sea otter. Pascal will show up and ask for the Scallop you collected. If you agree to trade, he will offer you one of his Mermaid DIY recipes or a Mermaid-themed item, so lets gather the ingredients and make the Mermaid series!
Also, he will give you a piece of the philosophical line before going back into the sea.
From Our New Horizons Wiki
Animal Crossing: New Horizons feels like an entirely fresh game from July for players in the northern hemisphere thanks to the addition of swimming and a brand new vendor . You can also find plenty of new things at the bottom of the ocean, which includes scallops.
Scallops can only be found out in the ocean by diving down and scooping up the black shadow. Scallops are semi-rare. We found three in total out of roughly thirty sea creatures while diving, so they do not appear that often.
Likewise, you can donate a scallop to Pascal, but he also does not appear that often. You can donate one scallop to Pascal per day and get a DIY recipe in return, but he may not appear until the second, third, or fourth scallop is found.
Pascal will give you various DIY recipes when you keep giving him his daily scallop, all of them requiring pearls to craft. Pearls are the rarest sea creatures we have encountered to date, so you may want to stockpile them rather than sell them.
If you collect more than one scallop, dont forget that you can also donate scallops to Blathers at the museum to add to his collection. This works in the same way as every other donation in New Horizons, but you will have a special blue option the first time you go to donate a sea creature.
As well as this, you can also sell a scallop to Nooks Cranny for a fairly decent 1200 Bells, which will go some way towards paying off the wetsuit you bought to start swimming.

Pascal In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Pascal is a red sea otter in Animal Crossing. He is a visiting villager, and refers to himself as the philosophical nomad who has traveled “the one connected sea.” He is a red sea otter with a yellow muzzle. He sports a beige sailor watch cap and dungarees. His nose, eyes and whiskers are brown, while the insides of his ears match his muzzle and are yellow. He has a scallop hanging around his neck, signifying his love for them.
There is some debate about whether Pascal’s name is borrowed from the French philosopher, Blaise Pascal, or the measuring unit, but given his philosophical approach to life, the odds are the former.
Pascal appears on a player’s Animal Crossing island every day between 6 AM to 12 AM. He’s not very difficult to spot, as he might be seen preaching his philosophies to other villagers. He is a very chilled out, laidback character with philosophies that are mostly marine themed.
Where To Find Pascal
Firstly, its a question of when does Pascal come. He wont appear unless its July 3rd or later depending on your time zone, you might be early. After youve made sure its the right date, you should also close your gate. It seems to have helped a lot of folks find him.
After youve completed the preparation, jump into the water and start swimming around. Look for scallops whenever you find one, Pascal might show up. The problem is, he only shows up once a day and it doesnt have to be on the first scallop you find. So keep collecting scallops and hell eventually appear. If you decline his offer by mistake the first time, hell show up again, just be persistent.
If youre wondering where is Pascal, after you give him a scallop hell stick around and swim on his back, playing with his new gift. It appears you cant find him on dry land, and he doesnt have a specific location he likes to hang out at. His location depends on where you find scallops and which one he decideds to ask you for. So just be patient and keep collecting the sea critters hell find you.

You Might Be The Star Of Your Own Life But Everybody’s Hosting Their Own Reality Show Maaan
People can only experience their own lives and cannot step inside another person’s and feel what they feel. The tendency within some, then, is to view themselves as the star or protagonist of their story, while everyone they come into contact with becomes something of a side character.
While viewing the world through that lens may be natural, it can also encourage a person’s more selfish tendencies. Pascal reminds players that, although they may not see it, everyone around them is the star of their own life and faces their own struggles. As such, each person ought to take others’ feelings and experiences into consideration before acting in their own self-interest.
Everyone’s Always Trying To Get Into Shape Circle Square Triangle I Say Love Your Own Geometry Maaan
This quote is all about body positivity. Health is important, but shape doesn’t always correlate with health. Society pressures everyone to be a certain shape despite that fact.
Pascal simplifies the idea of loving your own body with the whimsy of geometry. To Pascal, shapes are just shapes and each one is worth some love.

How Many Times Can You See Pascal In A Day
You can only encounter Pascal once per day though, even if you find more than one Scallop in a day. There cannot be any player visitors on your island. Scallops can be found randomly as a Sea Creature available in the ocean when diving â there doesn’t seem to be any way to specifically hunt them down.
Pascal Not Showing Up
If you find a scallop and Pascal is not showing up, don’t panic yet. He might not show up on your first scallop at all, and you might not even see him until you find a few more scallops. If you keep diving and keep finding scallops though, he is guaranteed to show up once a day. You just have to keep looking. Some players report not seeing Pascal after catching over a dozen scallops, so be patient.
If he still isn’t showing up after catching that many, however, something else may be wrong. Always make sure your airport gates are closed when diving for scallops. Pascal will not show up if your island is open to visitors. If that still doesn’t work, make sure your game is updated to the latest version.

Are Flick And Cj Boyfriends
According to the official Animal Crossing guide, CJ and Flick are roommates, not romantic partners. Just two guys being dudes, two dudes being guys. They aren’t gay, they just live together and are partners, thus dashing our hopes that Animal Crossing New Horizons really did just say ‘gay rights’ in the year 2020.
Where To Find Pascal In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Pascal is an otter that swims around the edges of your islands water space. To find Pascal the first time, you need to dive underwater and collect a Scallop. You can do this by looking for bubbles while swimming. Make sure you grab a wetsuit so that you can head into the water, then swim around until you see a number of bubbles rising from the sea bed. Dive underwater and collect whatevers down there.
There are many different sea creatures hiding on the ocean floor you can click here for a full list but eventually youll collect a scallop. When you do this, youll notice Pascal pop up in the background of your screen before swimming over. Hell ask if you can give him the Scallop. Say yes, and in return hell hand over a special recipe. After doing this youll be able to see Pascal swimming around the back edges of your islands waterways, but you cant speak with him without finding more Scallops.

People Used To Try To Turn Lead Into Gold But Did They Ever Think About Just Accepting Lead The Way It Was
The lead and gold analogy can be replaced with many things from objects to people. Forcing change often leads to drama and hurt feelings.
Pascal is pointing out that some people and things should simply be loved for what they already are. This is honestly good relationship advice to think about between friends, romantic partners, and family members.
You Don’t Want To Miss The Good Ol’ Days Too Much Or You Might Miss Out On The Good New Days
When faced with hardship, people tend to idealize the past and wish they could return to a simpler time, free of present worries. However, when fondly reminiscing, people forget that they were anxious about life in the past too. Time and current difficulties have just erased past problems from memory. Ironically, the stressful present will become the new “good ol’ days” years later.
An example of this phenomenon occurs in high school. While enrolled in high school, students long to be children without responsibility again, but years later, those same people will fondly look back on their high school days and wish to go back. Pascal encourages players to break this cycle and enjoy life at whichever stage they currently find themselves in.

Are Scallops Rare In Animal Crossing
Scallops can be found randomly, and from our own experience they aren’t found so easily. However, if you keep swimming and diving you’ll eventually find them. This creature can be donated to Blathers in the museum, and can be sold in the Nook Shop. But when you find your first one, you’ll meet Pascal.
Pascal Is Synonymous With Pearls And Not Mermaid Diy You Heard It From Me First
A quick google tells me that a ton of other sites has already made a Pascal quote compilation post. No doubt they have the whole set and probably done a better job than this hobbyist blogger here! But alas, Im not here to talk about Pascals wise quotes! Were here to have some fun poking fun with the silly ones.
I only managed to get Pascal a few times because Nintendo hasnt been nice to me. I either dont get any scallops at all or I dont get any scallops at all, theres no in-between. So far, I managed to get a ton of pearls , a mermaid dress and a measly 3 mermaid DIYS from the accursed beaver Hes a beaver, right?
Look, you look adorable munching the scallop but could you please at least give me more DIYs? Pretty please? ): Anyway, quotes! I skipped out on a few because I forgot to mash that screenshot button but here are my favourites.
Note: I wrote this for fun because the quotes made me cackle.

Maaan If You Waste Your Time Doing Something You Enjoy Then You Don’t Waste Your Time
Possibly Pascal’s most meta advice, this bit of wisdom came at a perfect time, when people were confined to their houses with nothing to do but indulge in their hobbies. Social pressures often demand that people use their free time to improve their lives in some way, so many often feel guilty for any time spent simply having fun .
Pascal reaffirms that no-one should feel ashamed for enjoying pleasant distractions, and that time spent having fun can hardly be considered a waste. After all, what could be a better use of quarantine free time than hours of playing Animal Crossing?
Animal Crossing: Where To Find Pascal
Pascal is a reoccurring character in the Animal Crossing series. Pascal will make his debut in the Animal Crossing New Horizons Summer Update.
The next major Summer update is coming for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This guide will help players find Pascal on their tropical island. Animal Crossing: New Horizons was a massive hit for Nintendo. It released directly at the start of the global pandemic. Some players to this day have still been unable to receive a physical copy of the game due to several retailers being closed to protect their employees. This has not stopped the game from selling millions of copies, being one of the Nintendo’s fastest-selling Nintendo Switch titles. This guide will help players locate Pascal, a new character introduced in the Summer update.
Pascal is a special and recurring character in the Animal Crossing series. When the Spring update released, players were able to interact with Redd, a scheming fox, and Leif, a pleasant garden salesman on their islands. Pascal is the summer equivalent to these characters, as he will only appear for a limited time on the player’s island. This adorable red otter will appear on the island, providing gifts and special exclusive items to the player. He will arrive on the island on July 3rd along with the Summer update. Funny enough, Pascal’s birthday also falls in July on the 19th. Here’s where players can locate him on their island.
